Laura had never felt something so uncomfortable in her life as today in this moment. She stood in the sea of trees staring at her counterpart that looked exactly like her except the black eyes and evil aura radiating from her body.
'Accept your darkest thoughts and become one. Fighting will get you nowhere as it is a part of you.' She remembered Naruto's words and looked at her dark self that was looking at her with amusement.
Now what were the dark thoughts hidden in her heart that she was denying.
"Come here girl, let's become one." Laura decided she had nothing to worry about and called out to her dark self with confidence, her arms wide open.
"And here I expected some self reflection from dumbass, how stupid of me. Kick the bucket already, and give me the body you pathetic wench." The darkness answered with disdain as she dashed at Laura like lightning and her attack went for the eyes.
She really was the evil version as Laura would never use underhanded attacks like going for the eyes, ears, or balls.
Laura quickly reacted by blocking the strike with her right arm and stopped the kick with her leg. She went for her shirt with her left hand but the darkness also went for it.
"You can never defeat me. I am endless but you will only go crazy staying in my place." Darkness teased as she released a lightning strike that Laura matched before both of them pushed each other away.
"Okay, we seem to have started on the wrong foot here. Open your heart girl and tell me what you represent. I don't think I have ever suppressed any of my desires." Laura took distance as she could tell this fight was going to be useless and just like she said, it was dangerous for her to stay for too long.
The darkness will consume her mind slowly if she fought it.
"Do you really not know? Hahaha, you really are a brainless and a failure of a warrior that can't even see their inner desire."
"Stop bullshitting, open up with something real." Listening to her speaking nonsense build up annoyance especially since she had the same appearance.
"I am your darkness formed from all your desires and dark aspects of your personality. I am your arrogance that you hide. I am your anger that you hide. I am the free will that you hide behind morals. I am the envy you hide behind your humbleness. I am the lust that you hide behind your warrior persona. I represent total freedom while you are just a chained soul." Darkness answered with flare and clear cut arrogance.

Listening to those words, she felt them resonate with certain moments in her life. There were many of them but unlike others she had obviously taken the right choice, though she might have just ended up denying such a possibility.
She didn't think it was possible for her to have such thoughts but her words from them out. She wanted to show people their worth when loser and weaklings tried to speak to her.
There were times she didn't want to act humble.
There were times she felt very angry at people during fights normal times but she never acted on it.
There were times she had experienced financial difficulties and life problems that caused her to think of criminal activities.
There were times she felt envious of Sakura's talent or other better fights, though she never it last for a second.
There were times she felt the desires of the body but kept it suppressed because she was a warrior and warriors like them didn't act in such a manner.
All these thoughts came to view and she didn't feel right seeing them like this.
"Okay, I understand what you represent now. And, I accept all of it. You are me and I am you, those thoughts are mine and those desires are mine. I will try to accommodate them." Laura nodded as she bit her lip and spoke to her darkness.
"Cool, let's hug."
Laura looked back with a dull expression, 'Shit, this is too hard.'
Just like that, Laura spent the 30 minutes fighting her dark side and never getting her to listen.

"What the fuck was that? Didn't I accept her, explain." Laura felt dizzy as she returned to the normal world and jumped to her feet as she wanted answers.
Naruto smiled at them as all of them had failed to conquer their darkness, some felt worse than others after seeing what they denied.
It wasn't a pretty sight to know the most unwanted parts of the mind.
"You failed because deep down, you didn't accept it. There was still denial in your heart, and even an ounce of denial will make you fail. Understood, and was it useful for you? Did you learn something from this experience?" Naruto covered them all in his chakra to help them gather their thoughts as it had disturbed their mind.
They took in his words and found that he was right as it had been uncomfortable accepting such things. Now they could understand how Ryu felt always fighting his darkness that could affect the real world, it was terrible.
"Don't look so glum, chums. Just sit down and meditate on it. I will bestow up on you the sacred teachings and you will definitely pass with good grades." Naruto spoke confidently and with flare to cheer up their downtrodden spirits. He understood how it felt since it had been a really despair inducing practice for him as well.
He won because his positivity was limitless and he didn't mind getting his hands dirty.
The group sat down again and Naruto made clones to sit behind each of them. He placed his hands on their back and continued to circulate his chakra into them while they circulated their Ki, this was to help them increase their Ki reserves and physique.
They continued to contemplate on the topic while Naruto continued to speak about the darkness and the aspects of understanding and positivity.
