Dark... Why is it so dark in here? No, more importantly where... am I? Let’s see. I was supposed to test my new thesis on the actuality of souls being able to exist without the body, by inducing it to become corporal for the naked eye to see. The soul was supposed to radiate a special energy I call spirit energy, which should, with the interaction of our recent new discovered substance called kronorium, become visible. The biggest problem with souls is that up until my thesis, it was said to be impossible to remove the soul from the body without it dispersing. But kronorium has remarkable effects towards the soul. It is actually able to sustain the soul, as to not letting it disperse. Hmm... Oh! The experiment! What happened at the end? I seem to recall it failing. The soul somehow grew up like a balloon and i couldn’t stop the supply of kronorium in time. I see... The soul actually exploded in front of me. Afterwards everything went dark and here I am unable to really move pressed down from all sides. Sigh... My laboratory is probably filled with kronorium by now. What a treasure for those weird monks back home. It has a miraculous effect on the soul, but since there isn’t really much of it – well, at least on Earth where I’m from, there haven’t been many test with kronorium. At least I can be proud of the fact that I discovered kronorium and therefore got hold of a whole lot of it, equalling the size of football field in a compressed state, before it was discovered by the rest of the world 20 years later. Yes, you heard right – 20 years! And I only got hold of the amount of a whole football field. Well, at least it’s dozens of times more than the combined kronorium the universe has found. I was also lucky. I found a whole lot in a cave on goddamn Pluto. If you’re thinking why i didn’t announce a new substance in the universe never seen before, I ask you: Why should I? I might as well take advantage of the fact, as I did, to collect a lot of it, before it gets known – and I don’t care about fame and all that. I just want to do my research on the functioning of the universe, which is quite comical. Just look 30.000 years back, where our civilization thought everything happening as natural: Life and death, the then basic elements from the old periodic table and the endless space.

Nowadays the universe has become more mysterious. Especially with the discovery of the souls existence 50 years ago and what is at the end of the universe? Like where does a soul go after death? A minority just disperses, but that’s it. We still can’t track it. We’ve also run into some kind of barrier that rips everything coming near it to shreds at the end of the universe. Is there more to the universe we know? All this unknown knowledge is what I’ve been pursuing my whole life, and with the discovery of kronorium, I was certain to get some satisfactory answers at the end of my years, but alas....Sigh. Here I am still in this dark weird place, but why am I so sleepy? Well, I think I will take a nap. It does feel rather nice and cosy in here, even though I can’t see a thing in here. Goodnight.
