Leo had been observing saltwater crocodiles in northern Australia, when he had gotten careless. He turned his back to the water for just a second. In that moment, he was pulled into a death roll. The crocodile pulled his leg into the water and started twisting itself. Leo went down. He was pulled into the water.
From then on, all he felt was pain and panic as he was pulled deeper and spun over and over in the classic death roll. He tried to get out by jabbing his fingers in the croc’s eye. Then the social habits of crocodiles that he once found so curious once bit him back as another crocodile’s jaws closed around his head and bit it off.

Leo regained awareness with blackness all around him. He couldn't tell where he was. He tried to move and found that he was only able to move for a small distance before he hit a wall. He had never liked small spaces so he started smashing. It took time but he managed to jab his fingers through the wall. He tore it apart and light flooded the space. He excitedly ventured out into the world. He looked around to see where he was. Leo looked down and saw. Claws?
