2. Awakening
Waking up was a nightmare in itself this morning. His head hurt like hell, and his whole body was having strange sensations like he never felt before.
What was wrong?
He shouldn't have smoked that weed. But come on. They finely legalized it. That was enough reason for a little bit of celebration. But something had to be wrong with the stuff Mike got him. He felt awful now.
Perhaps he got a terrible case of the flu overnight. Or both.
He tried to open his eyes, but sunlight burned itself right into his brain, and he nearly lost it from the pain.
He could just lay there and whimper.
Hey there, Alex.
A voice of a woman spoke. Who is this? He was alone in his flat; last he remembered. The women spoke softly, but even so, it hurt.
Don't panic, Alex! Everything is good, and you are not in danger. Keep laying still. The pain will soon go away.
What had happened?
Did he have an accident? A stroke?
Was he in a hospital?
You have a lot of questions, I'm sure. And I will answer them, but we better wait until you're not in pain anymore.
It will take some time, but we can do something to speed things up a little. Do you want that?
All he could do was grunt affirmatively. Of course, he wanted the pain to go away faster.
Ok, then please imagine your brain. Imagine your brain as pictorial as you can.
What the fuck? Am I in some homeopathic something? What's next, some etheric oil? Give me some fucking painkillers!
No Alex, no oils. Please imagine your brain. Have a little trust.
What the fuck, the second! I didn't say anything. Is this even real? Do I dream? Hallucinate?
I will really answer your questions. But first, do what I asked you. You feel better!
What have you to lose by trying?
Well, she had a point there. So, he did as asked.
It was surprisingly easy, especially with the pain present.
Very good Alex.
Now will all those strange new sensations, you feel in your body, to your brain and just will it to heal.
Now Alex was sure that it was all a dream. So, he simply played along and did as she said.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
And slowly, very slowly, the pain lessens.
Strange dream!
Perhaps he shouldn't be surprised. He hadn't smoked weed in a little more than 10 years. And the dream, before this pain, was similar in strangeness.
It took time, especially because it was hard to hold on to concentration with this dreadful headache.
Meanwhile, the women spoke on.
So!
I don't know how much you remember. But let me summarize.
After you groped a Goddess, and even if I can´t be sure, I think that must have been a first in all history. At least with a mortal as the one who is accountable for the deed.
That Goddess yeeted you away.
That didn’t do any damage, but you landed in a really unlucky place.
Well, most places you could have landed would not have been much better for you. But the Fountain of Life has one of the highest denseties of Mana of all. That alone could have crushed you in seconds.
And that's not all. Even the weakest lifeforms there are so much stronger than you, a fly could have killed you by simply landing on you.
By the way, the Fountain of Life is the huge green crystal tree and the surrounding lake, at which you landed. Just in case you remember.
Alex lost concentration as a memory of that tree came into his mind. Accompanied by the memory of pain, that was so much worse than what he was feeling now. So much worse than he ever felt before.
That tree was enormous!
Looking as made from crystal in every shade of green that existed, and then some more. But it was not made! He simply knew it was alive and radiating something, that squashed and burned him alive.
Whimpering, he tried to put away the picture and go back to his headache.
Well, you nearly died.
It was your luck that this would have made a lot of trouble.
See, when a God summons a soul from outside the awakened worlds, there is immense power involved. Some is needed to get the soul here in the first place. But most of it stays with the soul. That is the whole reason why Gods do these summonings. To get a powerful servant.
If you had died there, all this power would have gone loose.I will not be going into detail, but just let me say that unpredictable things would have happened.
Especially if it happened at a Place of Power like the Fountain of Life.
The voice made a little pause, as to let settle this in.
Alex was simply happy that he was alive, and his actual pain was so much less than just the remembered one. A dream shouldn't be able to do that to him.
Was this real? No, it couldn't.
As it is, someone didn't want that chaos and got you out of this place.
His name is Karneol, and let's call him a God for now. It's more complicated than that, but now is not the time for nitpicking.
He brought you here, stabilized you and gave you a choice. Do you remember?
All he got was a blurry memory of the guy from the Lucky Charms cereal box threatening to kill him. That couldn't be right.
Well, he could either have killed you here, where the fallout wouldn't be as bad, and by that, I mean that maximal half of this world would decent into chaos.
Or he could give you a Class and Geas and get rid of that power another way.
Then you made your first intelligent decision since your summon by choosing to live.
Long Story short, as you were not really in a condition for a discussion, he just looked into your head.
He told me to tell you that he did his best of giving you „your money worth” for the exchange, so there would be no bad blood between you.
After looking in your head he said also that your world is quiet interesting.
That's why he is no longer here.
He said he wanted to have a look for himself, as long there was still a trail of your summoning to find.
In short, he is gone.
By the way, are you feeling better already?
Fucking no! I still have …..
Fucking what
What happened to my voice?
Alex again lost concentration, but the pain was just on the level of the worst hangover ever.
That had not been his voice. He had sounded like the women.
Wait!
He took his hands from his head and followed his lying body down.
First, he felt a blanked, and underneath…
Small tits and the absence of everything that should be between his legs.
Shrieking in shock, Alex jerked up and tossed the blanked away.
He fell down again at nearly the same moment, blinded by pain and sunlight. But resting on his knees, he realized some things.
He had tits.
He was kneeling on grass.
He had tits.
All his checking again and again told him his body was female.
He had tits. There were the women who had spoken, resting lazily near him.
He had tits.
They felt quite nice.
Wait, he was naked, fondling himself, in front of some stranger. Fast he scanned fort he blanked, took it, and put it around him tight.
