Minor status update & Poll

Book 4 is going slowly. I hit a major hitch when I realized one of the five minor arcs planned for this one was coming completely wrong, and didn't make sense in term of characters and motivations as it was happening, so I am trying to find what happens instead at that point, and I have mostly a blank. It will come, but it's slow (worst scenario: find some bland boring trope to save my day, even if Jonas doesn't get an interesting part in it).

However, while I'm writing all kinds of other scenes to advance the story before that one, I've suddenly found myself with a different, more technical decision and a question for my readers.

So far, all three books have been mainly team-centric chapters, with sometimes a short interlude showing stuff happening behind the scenes to other characters without Jonas and his friends being there.

This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.

The last book is much more involved by all parties, and lots of things that happen everywhere ultimately have repercussions on the team. So, there's a "bit" more of non-Jonas scenes in here (for various definitions of a bit, like the from one of my old physics teacher that said one time, "let's consider 1/2 as completely negligible compared to 1").

Which means that I can present them more or less in two ways:

- as slightly larger interludes that only focus on non-team events, but would include lots of disparate events and point of view rather than a single one.

- as tiny one-page interludes within most chapters, before we go back to Jonas and his friends. A bit similar to what's happened a few times where we see the point of view of characters in the story after Jonas and the team have left the room, except that in those cases, the team was never around in the first place, so the events are separate (even if relevant).

I can see advantages and disadvantages to both formats, so I have pretty much no idea what would be best in terms of readership.

So? What do you think feels best?
