"look he's awake" Rocus said

"Hm... What happened?" Dragoul asked as he woke up in class.

"You've been asleep like a log since the beginning of the lecture" Rocus said

"You are really good at physics so the teacher didn't ask us to wake you up while you were asleep" Susie said

Dragoul looked around in confusion as he couldn't remember anything.

"What time is it?" Dragoul asked

"It's time to go home" Rocus said as he lift his bag up.

Without giving much of a concern, Dragoul ignored the dream or whatever he saw/felt and went along with everyone.

"How's your project going?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah man, you didn't give us any update since last month" Rocus said

"I totally forgot, by the way did you bring the materials I asked for Susie?" Dragoul asked.

"Here, four plastic strips bent around 30 degrees that can withstand a load of kilogram." Susie handed over the blades to Dragoul.

"What's that?" Rocus asked.

"I don't know, I did what he told me to" Susie replied

"These are called propellers, they will help my drone lift above the surface" Dragoul said.

"Honestly I think that it's a bad idea to try to cross the wall to be honest, don't you find it even a little bit risky?" Sophie asked.

"Shh.... We haven't left the school yet, can't let anyone hear us" Dragoul said in a soft voice.

"Dragoul! Let's go" Sinie approached Dragoul as they reached the school gate.

"Sometimes I wonder if your sister really is an introvert" Sophie said

"See it as a sign of trust, once she gets to know someone she starts opening upto them" Dragoul said.

"I'm really hungry, let's go get something to eat" Rocus said.

"Me too let's go" Susie and Sophie agreed.

"You all go, I don't feel like it today" Dragoul said.

"That's not fair, I don't wanna go alone with two girls who'll probably kill me the chance they get" Rocus said.

Dragoul then gave Rocus eye gestures towards Sinie as Susie and Sophie were cursing on him.

Then Dragoul and Sinie began walking towards their home.

"Hey Sinie, what's with the dull face?" Dragoul asked.

"So you noticed, hehe" Sinie said "I have been feeling uncomfortable since I heard about the ghost everyone was speaking about"

"Not you too, how many times I told you that ghosts are not real" Dragoul explained "ghosts are usually a explainable phenomena that happens at night. It is due to the lack of vision, people consider things like flying garbage bags or clothes as ghosts and als-"

"It's not just that, I feel like it's coming for me, I can feel it getting closer and closer to me as the day passes by" Sinie held Dragoul's hand tightly.

Realising that explaining is not the best solution, Dragoul changed the topic till they reached home.

[Evening]

After completing all of his work, Dragoul began working on his project which is a Drone. He has been collecting different parts from trash and things such that no one can notice what he is doing as the government places chips and trackers on everything. Finally it was going to get its final touch i.e. the blades that will allow it to fly upwards. He has actually failed twice before and now he is taking the last chance or else he will quit.

The purpose of building a Drone is to attach a camera on the drone and get a glimpse of outside world as the invisible wall wouldn't let anyone pass alive so Dragoul thought why not use a 'unalive' thing to pass through the walls and get a glimpse.

As he was working on finishing off the drone, he hear a faint whisper "I can't sleep" which startled him as he was too focused.

"Whoa it's just you Sinie, what do you need?" Dragoul asked.

"I can't sleep" Sinie spoke softly.

"Don't tell me that you are afraid of that ghost thingy" Dragoul said which made Sinie look embarrassed.

"Alright I will be in your room in a minute" Dragoul said and continued working on his drone.

Even after a few minutes Sinie didn't leave and observed him while sitting on the bed

"I'm done now" Dragoul said as he packed everything up "you are still here?"

Sinie didn't say anything and simply stared at him.

So Dragoul tuned off the light which made Sinie go into panic mode.

When he turned on the lights she was lying on the floor with her pillow stuffed on her face which made Dragoul laugh.

But to his surprise, Sinie was actually scared and began crying causing Dragoul to feel guilty.

"You are so mean" Sinie sobbed "you know that I am scared of the dark and you still did it"

"I am sorry Sinie, get up now I am here" Dragoul tried to pick her up.

"Don't touch me!" Sinie ran into her room.

Dragoul was left speechless as it was the first time Sinie showed such behaviour.

As Dragoul felt guilty in his room Sinie came back after a few minutes.

Dragoul couldn't speak after what he did and simply looked at the floor.

"I am sorry Sinie" Dragoul lift up his face just to realise that Sinie was still embarrassed instead of angry.

"Please.... Come to my room" Sinie spoke softly as she still couldn't sleep without him by her side.

Dragoul felt relief and went to her room.

Sinie held onto Dragoul's finger as she tried to sleep.

As Dragoul gazed upon her little face he recalled how smaller she used to be just a few years ago.

"Hey Brother"

"Yes"

"Why do you work so hard?"

"What do you mean?"

"You study hard, work hard to earn money and also you work on your projects till late night. You possibly can't be enjoying your life, probably because you have a extra mouth to feed-"

"Shh.... Don't you dare call yourself and extra mouth sis, YOU are not extra. You are everything that I have, you are the only one that I can call mine with pride" Dragoul spoke in a little agitated manner "and the thing about fun, the time that I get to spend with you at home, the time I spend with Rocus, Susie and Sophie at school and the time I spend making my project, it's all fun for me. Literally everything."

"I guess I could never be like you ever" Sinie seemed down

"You don't even have to be, because I am Dragoul and you are Sinie, we are not the same person. Don't try to be like me, just try to become yourself. I will always accept you for who you are" Dragoul encouraged her

"Always... You promise"

"Yes Sinie always and forever, I promise" Dragoul promised Sinie.

They continued chatting till Sinie went back to sleep.

After confirming Sinie was asleep, Dragoul called Rocus, Susie and Sophie.

"You guys up?" Dragoul asked on call

"Yup"

"Then reach the north-easternmost shop."

"I hope we don't get caught by the curfew patrol"

Dragoul locked all the windows and door and left with his drone in hand.
