Waves, our most talented magi do not know the cause of these widespread elemental surges but it is theorized to be linked to holes poking through into our dimension due to overlap with the elemental realms. Waves of elemental anger are the most feared and dangerous of them all, it is advised to travel to the inner sanctum near the world crystal and have the [Guard Mind] skill at level 50 to save yourself from the brunt of its effects.
-Excerpt from the book “How to Survive Elemental Waves” written by Russian hero Laduski Checkof.
The cockroach eyed the faintly glowing eyes of the space salmon and washed a bit of willpower over them.
[T1] Spatial touched Salmon eye
Store?
The cockroach mentally consented and both eyes disappeared in a puff of blue smoke, the cockroach had a feeling that those would be useful later on and it didn’t have to eat those. Another band of willpower splashed over the dead body of the space salmon and another screen popped up.
[T1] Awakened Space salmon(Dead) [N/A]
Store?
The cockroach mentally said no, and the screen disappeared, leaving the cockroach alone to do its business. It got to work immediately, with the hunger growing by the second. Its mandibles chomped down on its side, and a sizeable chunk of blue-tinted salmon meat came free. The cockroach swallowed it, and power surged through it. It instantly began to feel hot, its blood began to boil, and its exoskeleton heated up as unknown energy flooded its system, slowly melting it from the inside out.
Special status effect gained: Spatial overload [MAX]
WARNING! BODY UNABLE TO BEAR THE CONCEPTUAL WEIGHT OF SPATIAL ENERGY.
VENT! VENT! VENT!
The cockroach detonated with a crack that echoed through the cave, not a wet pop or a squish, but a sound that ripped at the very fabric of reality. A blinding white light erupted, not gradual like a sunrise, but like a star exploding in miniature, momentarily turning the darkness into a searing day. The energy trapped within the tiny body wasn't contained any longer, it rampaged outwards, raw and wild, defying all boundaries.
Reality itself screamed in protest. Imagine a tapestry, meticulously woven for millennia, suddenly shredded by unseen claws. The air warped, space bent, then snapped, fracturing like ice under immense pressure. Spatial dust, shimmering like stardust caught in a whirlwind, swirled in the aftermath, the glittering remnants of a once stable dimension.
Shards of reality, sharp and jagged, hung suspended in the air, frozen echoes of the cataclysmic event. They weren't mere debris, but testaments to the sheer power unleashed. This wasn't just light and dust; it was a wound ripped open in the very fabric of existence, a tear that pulsed with an eerie, otherworldly glow.
And then, there was the energy. A torrent, a flood, a tsunami of raw, untamed spatial energy poured out, threatening to drown everything in its path. Imagine the aurora borealis gone supernova, its gentle dance replaced by a maelstrom of greens, blues, and purples, all laced with a crackling, malevolent white.

The radian slammed into the cockroach like a physical blow, its tiny body convulsing in the face of the unnatural energy. Carbon and calcium plates split and bubbled, molten orange goo oozing from the fractures. Puss, the color of a sickly yellow sunset, erupted from beneath, inflating, pulsating, and then popping in grotesque bursts that immediately regenerated with grotesque speed. The creature's form twisted and warped, limbs contorting at unnatural angles as if sculpted by an unseen hand. Its segmented abdomen resembled a churning cauldron, organs visible through the translucent, stretched flesh, pulsing with an alien light. The stench of ozone and putrescence hung heavy in the air, a sickening counterpoint to the sizzling flesh and popping pustules. With a final pop, the abomination exploded in a shower of irradiated flesh.

The cockroach awakened, feeling so different it thought for a moment that something had swapped its body. Light slammed into the cockroach's newly formed body, searing through its black exoskeleton like a white-hot hammer. In an instant, its already limited vision was extinguished, plunging it into an abyss of darkness. Panic, a primal scream choked within its transformed throat, clawed at its insides.
It crashed onto the almost-liquid stone floor, the searing heat instantly burning through its underbelly. This was no familiar sting of hunger, but a new agony – a deep, throbbing ache that resonated with the alien heat, like its very body was melting from the inside out.
Instinct, honed over millennia of survival, drove the cockroach to escape. It tried to push itself up, clambering with its new limbs. It spread its black wings, desperately seeking purchase in the air. But the light, relentless and unforgiving, seemed to follow it. It licked at the newly formed wings, turning them brittle and then to ash in mere seconds. Only the acrid smell of burnt carbon remained, a testament to the creature's futile struggle.
Consumed by pain, heat, and the blinding glare, the cockroach fought for a few agonizing moments before its struggles ceased.

The cockroach zipped, no, hurtled through the air, the weight of its tiny body amplified tenfold by the bizarre atmosphere. It wasn't air. It was warped jelly, thick and resistant, rippling in impossible waves under the influence of unseen forces. Each ripple threw the cockroach off course, its tiny legs churning desperately against the viscous resistance. Then, a tidal wave of shimmering energy crashed into it, engulfing it in a swirling vortex of colors. The world dissolved into screaming darkness.
Suddenly, a sliver of sunlight speared through a canopy of leaves, illuminating the stunned cockroach. It lay on its back, legs twitching, in a world so alien it defied comprehension. Towering giants of emerald flesh, impossibly massive trees, stretched towards the heavens, their leaves rustling in an unseen breeze. The air vibrated with a cacophony of sounds, alien shrieks, and bellows that sent shivers down the cockroach's nonexistent spine. The very ground, instead of the familiar cold stone, was a luscious carpet of damp, vibrant green.
The world tilted as the cockroach regained its footing, legs splayed on the emerald moss. Pheromones, thick and pungent, hung heavy in the air, weaving a tapestry of life so dense it almost resembled an alien atmosphere itself. Each twitch of its antenna picked up a different scent, a cacophony of stories whispered in the wind. Hunger, fear, desire, they all thrummed through the air, an orchestra conducted by instinct.
Here, life pulsated with a vibrancy the cockroach had never known in its damp, shadowed existence. This wasn't the stale air of the cave, stagnant and oppressive. This was a symphony of smells, each note singing of potential. There were prey, of course, skittering things and winged morsels drawn to the symphony's sweet melody. But there was more. Power hummed in the air, a raw, electric energy waiting to be harnessed.
The cockroach never felt comfortable in the darkness. The oppressive silence, the ever-present hunger gnawing at its edges. Now, it understood why. In that suffocating environment, its potential lay dormant, a flicker in the gloom. But here, under the emerald embrace of this strange new world, the flicker ignited. This was a land to conquer, a feast to devour, a stage to dominate. Its bone mandibles clicked in anticipation.
Here, where emerald giants scraped the sky and life pulsed in a vibrant symphony, the cockroach saw its new dominion. Food teemed in every crevice, and potential subjects scurried and buzzed in all directions. It twitched its antennae, savoring the intoxicating air, a world ripe for the taking.
Suddenly, a tremor in the undergrowth snagged its attention. A scaled monstrosity emerged, its form impossibly large compared to the tiny Queen-in-waiting. The ground rumbled as it shifted, revealing glistening scales the color of sun-baked clay. Twin fangs dripped with a viscous red, a stark contrast to the vibrant symphony surrounding them. The stench of raw power and primal hunger filled the air, a chilling counterpoint to the cockroach's own growing ambition.
Awakened venom Cobra (Killer) [5]
Instinctly, the cockroach called upon its core, and green liquid flowed through its veins as it burst forward.
