There are 2 other races to take not of, but they are rare and not much is known about them, the daemons and the dragons.

-We are currently in the middle of Astrante in a human kingdom. Added Shanira. Since Eryween told you about the beautiful ring, I should then tell you about the moons as well, there are 2 of them, Naura the red one and Aulnus the green one. While the elves like to look at the ring, looking at the moons is soothing for the beastmen!

-The calendar is based on them. Added Tania. Naura has an 8 days cycle and Aulnus has a 32 days cycle. Thus, 8 days make a week and 32 days, or 4 weeks make a month. A year is made of 12 months.

-Hmm, master, The first 3 months of the year are the months of the hot season, summer, the next 3 months are autumn, when plants start to die and it's get cooler, the following 3 months are for the cold season, winter, when there is barely any plants, and the last season is spring, when the plants start to grow again and it gets warmer. -Well, mana is an energy present everywhere, it's made of differents elements. Fire for fire spells, water for water and ice, earth for rock and sand, air for wind and lightning, light for healing, buffs and wards, darkness for curses, necromancy and mind spells, arcane for divination and summoning, and chaos, who can only be used by daemons and dragons. Around 40% of the people have magic ability, and only half of them can become at least decent mages. However, all elves have magic ability, though only 40% can become decent mages. People can only use elements for which they have affinity. Most people have affinity for 2 elements, 3 affinities is uncommon, 4 is rare, and 5 even more rare.

People cast spells using incantations. It's possible to cast spells without incantations but it's very difficult and only the most experienced mages, those with more than 30 years of practice, can do so. Over the time, people can shorten the incantations, until they no longer need it.

He noticed that some elements had more 'presence' than others, probably due to differences in level of affinity.
