“Honestly, this babe needs to be sent away. We have no need of it. I mean look at it! Her eyes…. are the marks of Ida” ~ Unknown because the name is gone from history. Scholars and historians say who ever that said this was said by a drunk.
The predator silently stalks its prey. After hearing a human sighting him and calling him a “Blade Panther” the predator chuckled as the human becomes his next meal. He pounces. He kills.
After picking off the flesh of the human and tearing off his layer of removable fur, he goes and collects it. It has always wondered why humans had some kind of removable fur and why some of them even have a shell. Oh well, the harder kill, is the more glorious to kill in his books.
But this wasn’t an honorable kill, this was too easy of a kill. He wanted a more glorious battle where he and his prey would go toe to toe where he would eventually consume his prey. Oh well, that’s for another day. He walked back to his cozy cave. Nothing lived in it except him. He ate all of it, including the former blade panther that lived here. He cleaned his resting place by wiping all the dust and fell asleep.

He dreamed of fear, he dreamed that he was at the top, and he was afraid. He wanted to fight gloriously. He wanted honor. He wanted to live with in the jaws of death. He awoke suddenly, the predator heard something enter his cave. Sharpening his claws in his excitement, he lept out of his bedding and into the cool opening of the cave. He missed and crashed upon the ground. Annoyed, he turned around to look for the challenger.
He kept on looking up, but the next set of cries came from the ground. His eyes then swept the floor, only to discover a small human. It was a pitiful sight. The human did not grow it’s fur or shell yet and it looked as if it was covered with many fresh wounds and marks. It did have some black fur growing on top of its head though.
The predator looked at the small human with contempt, but as soon as he looked at its eyes, he saw determination. He saw the will to survive. He saw a grand destiny behind those eyes. Whatever it was, it was going to give him that glorious battle that he always wanted. He knew this human will not survive for long without him.
The predator ran out and invaded a boar den. As he dragged out the mother-boar, he walked to his cave with the boar in his mouth. When he sensed the small human, he threw the boar to it and motioned for it to eat it. The human accepted.
