A lone figure could be seen flying atop the Ancient trees of the Great Forest, heading from the inner reaches straight towards the Outer perimeter, that figure was none other then Simo, while flying a blue aura could be seen surrounding him, he scanned his surroundings with clear excitement on his ocean eyes, until he’s eyes hardened and he suddenly came to a halt, a fire ball was shot from behind him and landed on the trees in front of him, he frowned before simply trying to fly higher and bypass the wall of fire, when suddenly the roots of the trees down shot at an extreme speed and grabbed him, soon the Trio came to view.
“Simo, sit still and don’t struggle i’m bringing your dumb ass back!”
He growled glancing at the new comers “Oh c’mon Suzi, not again! I just want to check!”
“Check what you Idiot?! you know you can be spotted you!”
He’s body then started glowing a blinding blue before it dissolved to water which slipped away from the roots of the trees holding him.
“And what’s the worst that can Happen??”
“Once an Idiot always an Idiot.” Sighted Eso.
He glared at her before replying “Oh please I don’t wanna hear that from you, we both know you also want to see.”
“Hmph..”
“And Keii I trusted you!!”
“It was not me.” She Shrugged
“ESO!!!”
“I-I’m sorry but Suzi is scary with that gentle smile of her!”
“Hmmmm, am I now?” Smiled Suzi Innocently.
“See see!” Shouted Eso while pointing at Suzi.
“Now now Simo, let’s go back.”
“Just listen to me, we already close to the outer reaches, how about this we just go for a quick glance, and come back as fast with all four of us here our chances of getting spotted are far less and I mean c’mon what’s the worst that could happen?”

“DON’T JINX IT!!” shouted Keii
“No Simo! The last thing I want is more problems from the Elders.”
“They won’t know if you don’t tell them Suzi, come on it’ll be fuunn! Right guys?” He then glanced towards his companions for support.
Keii flashed a smile at that “I mean one time indeed doesn’t seem too bad Suz.”
“Cough we can always blame it on Simo cough”
“Won’t be the first time you do that” he replied glaring at Eso
“What am I to do with you all,” said Suzi while pinching the bridge of her nose, a habit of hers every time she was in deep thought, the others just remained silent waiting for her reply, after a few seconds of silence she raised her head to look at them.
“Fine, but JUST a quick look and i’m saying it again just ONE look and then we head back!”
“Yes yes yes of course! I mean who is to say anyone would even be there beside monsters.” Enthusiastically said Simo.
“Okay then, Keii we will count on you for our disguise, In the off chance we meet someone from a humanoid race I don’t want us to be seem got it?”
“Yep no need to worry.” Nodded Keii she once again started to a glow a bit brighter before going invisible, the trio soon started glowing as well before quietly fading away, they then resumed their flight to the outer reach of the forest.
It was easy to notice the difference between the inner and outer reach, the first notable one was the trees, that at one point become shorter and shorter till they reach a more normal height then the ridiculously ancient ones situated in the inner reach, the monsters sighting also became less and less the more you headed away from the inner parts of the Forest, the whole atmosphere changed from an Ancient magical Forest to a more ordinary one.
Sounds of fighting and shouting could be heard from a certain part of the forest, Suzi then glared towards Simo’s direction before speaking.
“Don’t you dare even think about it!”
“Oh c’mon we are invisible anyways just a quick look.”
“Absolutely not! Eso help me drag his ass back.” She them turned to Eso
“Eh? But he’s already gone though?”
“Wha!? In the name of LIGHT! After him.” The trio then soared after him.
By the time they caught up Simo’s invisible figure was above a small clearing curiously watching the scene unfolding bellow him.
“Simo! What did I say!!” Screamed Suzi in a hushed tone.
“Shuush!” He shushed her while pointing at the fight down bellow.
“Are those Humans?” Asked Keii
“I think that archer is an Elf, I mean look at her ears” replied Eso while scratching her head
“They really are wingless!” Said Simo in obvious amazement.
“What? did you think the Elders were lying?” Harrumphed Suzi while rolling here eyes
“But why are they struggling so much against a cute little bear?”
At that question all just rolled their eyes while Keii replied “Eso I Think only you can consider that monstrosity cute...”
“While it’s true it’s anything but cute it can only use a little bit of magic and is a bit big and umm deformed, but aren’t they a bit too weak?”
“If you were paying any attention to our lessons you would have known that humans and other races are almost all very fragile while their affinity to magic is severely lacking to say the least.” Rebuked Suzi.
He just shrugged at that “Seeing is believing”
“Guys, I don’t think they gonna make it.” Pointed Keii at the fight bellow that was reaching it’s climax...

My name is Elena, i’m a B-rank cleric adventurer and a member of the B-rank party the Undying wolves. Our party consists of 5 of us, me our tank Lawrence, Layla the mage Henry the swordsman and Flora our Elf archer.
We are not the best out there but we are still considered among the upper ladder of the B-rank with all members of our party being B-rankers themselves. A few of days ago we accepted a request of escorting a herbalist from the capital to the Great Forest, normally none would accept such a suicidal mission, but the request came straight from the King himself and the rewards were more then enough for all of us to retire early and live a comfortable life, as luck may have it no A-rank parties or S-rank adventures were available to accept the request, so we ended up being the ones to take it up.
It was supposed to be a simple mission, even though we were going to the Great Forest we weren’t supposed to be venturing anywhere near the Inner Perimeter, just stick with the Herbalist as he looks for some herbs then escort him back... It was supposed to be simple so Why? Why? Why is his headless body laying on the grass? Why is Lawrence missing an Arm? And why in the name of the Lumen’s is that Monster here?!!
