Prologue; the day the world was shattered

It's a story as old as time, A Hero bests the the demon king with the blade of evil's bane to save Hyrule. Or, that's what was supposed to happen. As the hero raised the sword to the cursed man, who raised his own sword at the hero, and when their swords clashed, neither blade could handle it, shattering both the master sword, and the demon blade. The shock caused a third of the planet to break apart, and the magic kept them afloat. But before the Demon king could escape, a Queen with the powers of the goddess was able to grab him, and the excessive magic around them allowed the goddess to leave the Queen's body, and ripped the Demon's curse out of him, unleashing it onto the world. Since then, intense magic has spread over Hyrule, both light and dark, and creating an infection that can take over the minds of people, turning them into demons.

The Queen looks up at the knights, one was falling asleep so the other nudged him awake. The Queen signs, "Paku, this is important, can't you stay awake for one of my lessons?"

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

"It's not really a lesson if i've already heard this story." The man smiles. Making the other knight shake his head, "Forgive my brother, your highness, I liked your story."

"Thank you Linebeck, but it wasn't a story, it's history. And it's why the floating stones are so dangerous. I'm requesting the two of you to assist me, in searching for the hilt of the master sword in the ruble."

The king speaks up, "My Queen, you should just let them go by themselves, don't put yourself in danger."

"I'll be fine, I know a couple spells myself, and these two are the strongest knights in the kingdom."

A guard slammed the door open,"Your majesties! A Zora turned into a demon in the city, and they headed for the castle!"

Paku and Linbeck stand up from where they were kneeling, and draw their weapons, Paku speaking, "Not for long it isn't."
