Well like many students my age I love to watch post-apocalyptic movies or comics, but I have never believed that that kind of bullcrap could happen in reality, zombies? really? I can't believe that there are actual people, who prepare themselves for that kind of situations.

My name is Lucas Evanright, I am a 17-year-old high school student from the Elisewood academy. Today is the 31st of December, exactly is New Year and like many students my age I am going to spend the day with my beloved childhood friend Erika Eliswood, I don't really get how someone like me could be friends with someone like her, but it doesn’t really matter anyway.

I have known Erika since elementary school and we have been best friends ever since, but I feel different now I actually like her and when I mean that I like her, I mean it. But as I was about to arrive, I saw her in the parking lot kissing someone I have never seen before. I felt something inside of me shatter to pieces, I ran away from there I couldn't take it, after having ran pretty far away, the scene I had just witnessed hunted me. I couldn't be I was the closest person to Erika, I didn't even know the guy! I kept walking and when I realized I was in front of my apartment.
