Chapter 643

Chapter 643:

The thought of what she had endured with the Stevens family made his heart ache. “If I had, you wouldn’t have been mistreated for three years.”

Allison paused, meeting Kellan’s gaze. “Don’t worry. I’m not easily bullied,” she said, her voice steady.

She wrapped a finger around his tie, slowly tugging it loose. “But Mr. Lloyd,” she continued, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you jealous before.”

As the tie slipped from his neck, it fell over Kellan’s eyes, plunging him into darkness. Relaxing against the sofa, he let her take charge with a quiet, tender indulgence.

“If you’re not into it, you can punish me,” he murmured, his voice low and inviting.

With his sharp gaze now hidden, Kellan looked almost tamed, like a subdued wild animal — yet the hint of danger, that raw allure, lingered.

Pleased with her handiwork, Allison smiled. “Alright, then.” Though he couldn’t see her expression, he imagined the glint in her eyes.

Trusting his instincts, he entwined his fingers with hers as she whispered his name, “Kellan.”

His throat tightened as he answered, “I’m here.”

And in the next moment, their lips met in a deep kiss.

Allison was familiar with the lean strength of his body, a knowledge built from countless moments shared. Yet now, on the sofa, the experience felt new.

Even with his eyes covered, it was her lingerie he found, tracing the fabric with his fingertips.

Kellan was a natural leader, yet in moments like these, he had a way of yielding that only made him more compelling.

Later, Kellan knelt down to help Allison slip her high heels back on. The delicate ribbons covered the faint marks on her ankles. She picked up her phone. “Time for lunch,” she remarked, glancing at the crumpled tie she’d loosened earlier.

Her gaze shifted to Kellan, now buttoning his shirt, his long fingers moving gracefully over each button, restoring order where she’d left her mark. The curve of his collarbone showed faintly beneath the fabric. The veins on his hands were prominent, and the lines of his arms were defined.

Lounging contentedly, Allison asked, “Got a spare tie in the office?”

“Yes,” Kellan understood immediately. He reached into a drawer, pulling out a sleek, black custom tie in an elegant box.

“Let me,” Allison said, taking the tie and tying it around his neck with deliberate care.

“Mr. Lloyd, you really shouldn’t tempt people so much at work.”

“With you, it’s mutual enjoyment, not temptation.”

Satisfied, Allison gave the tie one last adjustment. “It’s time to grab something to eat. You know, I can’t stay in your office for too long, or people will start whispering.” She loosened the tie slightly and left him with a soft kiss. “See you later.”
