Before the girl stood the menacing demonic knight in full plate armor brandishing a sword.
His blade swung down. The orange light of the sun lighting up the dark surfaced sword as the sharp edge slowly came to her neck.
The girl shut her eyes. Her jaws clenched from the fear of her own death. She felt so powerless. She wanted to force the demon back. But it would only be a useless waste of her already drained energy.
The demonic knight was mighty taller and fearsome compared to her slender figure.
A single punch could break her.
A single slam of his hand, even using the back side, would be a severe injury for her.
Fear crept into her. There was only one choice…
Using her own body as a cushion.
She would die, yes.
But her sister might gain the opportunity to escape as impossible as it might be.
The dark surfaced blade came down—
…But still there was no pain nor discomfort.
All she could hear was the sound of a loud and thunderous bang before a gurgling noise following it. And they both came from right in front of her.
She fearfully and slowly opened her eyes. The demonic knight fell to his knees. Bleeding his dark red blood that is inhuman compared to her bright red blood.
Finally it fell. A single sizable hole in its throat. From his open wound came a sizzling smoke. Like roasted flesh on a firepit.
She turned her head to the direction the thunderous sound came from…
…and she saw despair and hope all mixed as one.
It was a figure of a young adult girl just years older than herself.
She stood there in the distance. On her right shoulder sat a strange contraption made of metal. Sizzling smoke came from the open end of the tube. Her arm holding onto some sort of a crossbow grip and her finger near the trigger.
For the girl, her savior looked odd in her eyes…
…She looks human like her and her sister but her clothing does not look like theirs.
They were what many would consider brazen for her people.
A black garment made of unknown fabric with a hood in the back. An extremely short and scandalous skirt that no sane woman would ever wear. A strange-looking footwear with a picture of a star on each ankle. With the only thing she recognizes as normal being a black leather belt and buckle around her hips.

The unknown savior’s upper garment intrigued her like none other.
She recognized the lettering identical to the language she was taught. But she does not seem to recognize the words and painting emblazoned on it…
…a grotesque and visceral image of two half mutilated people, all bleeding and losing part of their flesh. On the top left of the garment was the word Cannibal Corpse in blazing red and a black and white word of Parental Advisory.
What kind of disturbed person would dare wear such explicit and mentally damaging painting was all she could think.
The savior didn’t stop long to monologue of how she saved her. She went back to alarmed and moved the contraption sitting on her shoulder.
“Heads down! Heads down! Heads down!” was all she shouted at her and her sister.
She aimed the thing again and pulled the trigger. Then loud thundering, ear-rupturing sounds filled their heads.
The sound was deafening. Very much so that the girl stopped shielding her sister and covered her own eyes with her palms, pressing them tightly to block the monstrous blast of sound.
From the side of the contraption there was a long chain of what appears to be small, thin yet pointy metal rods linked together into the inner chamber of the contraption.
Every time their savior pulled the trigger the chain would flail wildly and the metal rods would be pulled into the chamber and out comes the sound and the smoke from the end of the tube.
The two sisters kept their ears and eyes closed. Both from the deafening sound of the savior’s contraption and the sound of screaming demonic knights.
They wish not to witness whatever could and would happen to the demons.
They wish, however, to be able to see the aftermath.
They have their wish granted—
…the sight was not as grand as they had hoped, however.
Patch of land turned smoldering. Holes riddling every several feet. Thin line of rising smoke billowing up from the hundreds of tiny craters.
It was like a battlefield came down upon them.
But time they do not have.
Another small group of demonic knights numbering in eight rushed towards them on their horses.
The dark plate armor of their demonic horses instilled fear on them.
The girl shielded her sister using her own body. A tight embrace around her to protect her from their sinful strikes.
Then she looked up at their savior—
…fear does not exist in her eyes…
Instead she saw a sinister glint followed by a mad cackling.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” an insane laugh came from the savior. “You fuckers meant nothing to me! NOTHING! HAHAHAHAHA!!!” she shouted and cackled again as if finding the dangerous situation they were in entertaining to her. “Let me show you stupid fucks how we clean things that are rotten like you from my land!”
The savior dropped the contraption on her hands to the ground before stretching her right arm to the side. She cast a dangerous eye at the girl as if telling her to witness what they’re about to do.
With a sinister smile the savior murmured, “Centurion… C-RAM.”
Then out of nowhere appeared a strange structure ten feet to her right, plopped down onto the ground like it fell from the sky.
It was terrifying.
A single dome sitting on the top like an upside down cup.
A two part device in the middle—a front-facing triangular chassis and six odd long tubes to the front.
And what seems to be a metal drum of sorts hanging on the bottom. With thick and wide metal legs on each side supporting the structure.
“Feel the pain of a thousand angry hornets!” she shouted on top of her lungs before letting out another mad cackle. “HAHAHAHAHAH!!!”
The strange structure turned to the direction where the demonic knights on their horses came from. A whirring sound that the girl has never heard before following every movement it made.
What happened next was pure… unadulterated… horror.
The structure bursted at the incoming demonic knights. Letting out a thunderous rampage even louder than what the savior’s contraption can make.
A streak of red light lit the dark sky from the six rotating tubes of the structure.
The demons fell in unison nearly instantly. Their bodies become unrecognizable once the smoke stopped billowing.
Everywhere on their bodies were holes, holes, and holes. Each about the size of an adult male’s fist.
The savior snapped her fingers. Suddenly the structure vanished in thin air.
She turned to the cowering girl and her cradling sister. Their eyes wide with fear.
Not from the demons but from her.
They have never seen such destructive magic in their entire lives.
Is this the magic of the gods?!
The savior smiled again.
She made a hush gesture at the two.
This time they grew terrified far beyond any demons could ever.
And then…
