Through the long stone hallways of a mountain side estate paintings adorn the halls, paintings of a time long lost. Battles fought by cultures long dead, religious figures of forgotten gods, lush forests burned in eras gone by. Busts made to resemble the real faces of legendary heroes, marble heads on pedestals of basalt that tell a story. The story of souls trapped to the moral coil for an ever spooling eternity, they are presented in groups of four. All faces in a group of four look distinct to one another, but every group looks similar to the last with only minor differences. The names change but the ideas never do, all seeking peace for their people, or liberation for the planet. These eternal heroes sit on the precipice once again, some day soon they will arise again to find their way back home. Every generation without fail they come to her looking for guidance, and every time they learn a piece of the puzzle. The same piece repeating into the horizon of time, they forget once they arise. Doors line the walls, leading into purpose built rooms made for specific functions. One door sits at the very end of the hallway, it leads into a small room. This small room has lush carpeting sprawling the floor, a design of gold and red inlaid on the surface. Photos 0of a different sort sit on the walls less in number and far less in splendor, they’re truth be told very simple pieces. Portraits of two men and a woman, some group pieces with all of them together. Totallerenni sits at an ebony desk in this room, her fair green skin illuminated by a glowing crystal. She looked over papers written by her friends, small accounts of victory and boasting. Banter between gods makes the woman smile, her friends had always been braggarts and she didn’t mind it. The words of one carry confidence to the effectiveness of his military, the other excitedly tells of technology developed by his peoples. She sets the papers down with a light smile on her face and leans back in her chair, a small jolt hits her mind and suddenly she knows. “Ah it seems to be time again, it won’t be long now before they come seeking guidance” she says softly in the silence, after a moment she stands up to finalize preparations for their arrival.
