Arthur sat at the dining table in the morning. Amy didn't join him in bed and he knew that she would have slept with the other girls. Telaga went through a major change and he hoped that Amy and Ema would be able to comfort her.
Amy came down in a short summer dress that accentuated her legs, a fact that she knew because Arthur couldn't take his eyes away from her. She kissed him and sat beside him.
Ema was quiet when she approached. She was wearing torn jeans and a shirt with cute little fox images in various poses.
Telaga stomped with thigh-high leather boots. Arthur saw the boots and followed it up to see the tight short leather shorts. It hugged her new form like a second skin and the further up was a leather corset that made her breasts larger. When he finally looked at Telaga's face, she looked unsure of herself waiting for his reaction, "Do... do you like it?"
"You look gorgeous Tela. Did the girls choose that for you?"
"No, I chose this for myself," she said a little bashful and sat down across from him.
"Where are your wings? Are they on your back and pinned by the corset?"
"We found out something interesting last night. It turns out that in my new body, I have some new abilities and I was able to retract the wings into my body like my mother does," she said excitedly.
The redheaded leader pushed a plate forward to the faery that had a bagel with cream cheese. "And now you don't need a special small portion, you can eat normal-sized food."
Telaga picked up the bagel and sniffed at it. She took a bite and made a muffled moan of delight.
"So how many are going with us?" Asked Arthur after swallowing the last of his bagel.
Amy smacked his shoulder playfully, "No, you have to wait til the boat."
He glanced over to Ema and she shook her head about revealing anything.
John called for the limo so that they didn't need to drive to the airport. The limo took them to a private plane.
They arrived in Nassau in the afternoon. A private car took them to a five-star hotel to check-in. The check-in clerk looked up at Amy and recognition showed in her eyes. She took a look at the rest of the party and dropped her pen. She quickly excused herself to pick it up and cleared her throat, "Welcome to our hotel, Valkyrie and Arthur of Camelot."
"You know of us?" Valkyrie's demeanor shifted to match the name she was called.
"Who wouldn't? Almost everyone saw the footage of the mission!" she exclaimed as she punched on the keyboard.
"Wait it was televised?" Arthur asked out of curiosity.
"Several videos were posted online and went viral. Many people who weren't adventurers thought it was great production for web movies," she responded while activating room keys.
"And you?"
The clerk placed four keys on the counter and looked at Arthur, "I retired because it wasn't something that I wanted to do as a living or risk my life. I can see the question and I was only a rank D."
Clerked looked up and yelled towards Telaga, "Please miss, the flower is not for consumption." Ema walked over and whispered into the faery's ear. The brunette glared at the clerk and let the flower go.
Arthur picked up the room cards, "Thank you, Marsha."
"Feel free to call the front desk if you have any questions."
They went to their room and their baggage was brought to them.
They looked through the suite before looking over the balcony for the view. Amy went inside to look in the fridge.
Arthur placed an arm around Ema and she leaned in to rest her head on his shoulder. He glanced at the faery who was fidgeting against the railing. Arthur smiled and reached over to place his other arm around her and pulled her close. She stiffened then slowly relaxed and placed her head on his other shoulder.
Amy watched from indoors and took out her phone to quickly take a picture of the three. The sun caused the picture to be a silhouette but she liked how it looked.
"We should go out and walk around, maybe window shop for other outfits. Tela might see other things that she likes," yelled Amy from inside.
Tela quickly disengaged from Arthur, looking back inside a little nervous.
"It's ok Tela, she's not mad. She just gets restless. Did she ever tell you about our first date?" He said as he reached for her hand and held it and walked back in.
They went out while he told her about the date at Roulette. Ema and Tela were listening intently with questions. Amy would interject to correct Arthur on details that he exaggerated.
They enjoyed walking the streets and looking at different stores. Arthur noticed the slowly growing number of bags and chuckled to himself.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
They sat down at a restaurant with a view of the beach and watched the sunset. Tela leaned in and softly whispered to Arthur, "Thank you for getting me stuff. I still have to thank you for my upgrade. But that has to wait, we are being watched. Two groups. One group is sitting at the table close to the door. The other is in a car and they have been following us the longest since the hotel."
Arthur turned around and gave Tela a peck on her lips, surprising her and turning her face red. He whispered back, "Thank you. When you get the chance, get the girls to the ladies room and let them know."
They ordered food and drinks. The girls excused themselves. Arthur waved a waiter over and ordered a beer. He took small sips but used it to tilt his head to look at the people in the room.
The group in the restaurant had four people. They ate in silence but slowly. They kept looking in different directions but Arthur could tell that they were using peripheral vision to look his way.
The girls came back and they talked about the weather, the different clothes they saw, and what kind of water sports vehicles they had any experience with. They ate with gusto which made the waiters smile at the food being enjoyed.
The bill came and across it showed that it was paid. A small note told Arthur to turn the bill and he saw a message for him. "You are far from your home base. People are watching and likely going to try to take advantage. The primary target is Valkyrie. Don't let anything happen to her." There was no signature, just a stamp of a falcon.
The leader of Camelot showed Valkyrie the note before placing a hundred-dollar bill on top of the bill.
"There was a gelato place close to the hotel, would you ladies like to have dessert there before we go back to our room?"
They deliberately wasted time and enjoyed the gelato. The group from the restaurant didn't follow, but the one in the car was still following.
Ema winked at Tela and she excused herself to go to the restroom. She came back giggling and plopped down on her seat and stared as a waitress brought another gelato dessert. She clapped her hands and enjoyed her second dessert.
They went back to the hotel and didn't have the car following.
"What did you do to the car?" asked Ema when they got into the room.
"Invisibility and being small sure give me advantages. I don't know much about the insides of the car so I melted different metal parts together," giggled Tela.
The group laughed and prepared to go to sleep. Amy looked at the king-sized bed and nudged her king. "Snuggle pile?"
"Only if you all want to."
"What's a snuggle pile?" asked the faery.
"It's when a group of people snuggle with each other," explained Valkyrie.
"Oh that sounds fun, ok," grinned the faery and grabbed one of the bags to get changed.
Arthur suspected that Valkyrie had planned something, but seeing Ema excuse herself and blush gave him a hint of what was to come.
Amy went to the fridge and came back with a small bottle of bluish liquid and handed it to her king, "Drink up. You'll want it."
Arthur took a sip and tasted a familiar drink, "Won't we need 24 hours?
"I had Shane dilute this one. It'll last long enough for you to handle the three of us."
It became a night of firsts. Amy had to remind them to go to sleep since they needed to be at the boat by noon.
Arthur released mana and created a protective web of their room when the girls were asleep before turning in himself.
----------------------------------------
The captain greeted them when they boarded the spacious yacht. There were three deckhands, an engineer, and three interior staff. The boat itself could accommodate four to twelve guests.
Arthur was blindfolded to wait until the boat left the pier before he was allowed to know who was going to join them.
Amy whispered close to his ear, "Ready for your surprise?" Arthur nodded and felt the blindfold get removed.
The purple hair was a dead giveaway for Shane who was reclined on a chair enjoying the sun. She grinned and lifted a glass of champagne to greet him.
Ema was wearing a emerald green bikini and was face down on another chair, her shapely form didn't miss getting admired by his gaze.
Tela was in a light blue bikini with a translucent beach skirt, she walked up to kiss his cheek. She mischievously giggled and shied away from his touch.
Amy was in a gold bikini that didn't hide how toned her body was as a warrior.
A heavy slap struck his back and Bjorn grinned with shades on. He was sporting trunks and the tattoos on his body made the young leader wonder just how many military operations he might have gone on.
Frank and Holly came up from below decks in swimwear. They were holding hands and quickly let go with flushed faces.
"It's ok guys, I'm glad you two could find happiness together. It's not lost to me that I won the lottery in relationships with Amy, Dani, Ema, and Tela."
The two oldest friends laughed. "Wait, Ema and Tela too? Just how many women are going to end up in your harem?" Frank asked teasingly.
"Seriously, I never planned on any of it. It just happened."
The biggest surprise was Kelrick and Vex. How did they get on board and how heavy were the robots?
Kelrick saw the question on his face, "Shane built us very well. Our materials are normally heavy but we also have spells that make us lighter. We won't sink the ship."
The captain introduced himself as Captain Orion. He informed them that all the crew members were active and retired adventurers. They all knew that their guests were there to relax and have a vacation and wouldn't bat an eye if anyone were non-humans. The captain also mentioned that Shane had them all sign an NDA when they were booked. "What you do on this boat, stays on this boat." He tipped his cap and headed back to the bridge.
The leader of Camelot went up to the second level to look behind them. The note from the restaurant concerned him. So far only four people knew about the note and he didn't want to worry the rest. This was a vacation.
----------------------------------------
A head rose under the pier but only to allow its eyes to clear the water. It left the gills to breathe underwater. The fins on the sides of its head act both as ears and for swimming. It had attached a device on the boat that would mess with the navigation. The device will take them into the territory that humans call the Bermuda Triangle.
It hung the backpack on a steel nail of the pier. The backpack was to signal the people who hired it about the device being onboard. It didn't care why they wanted the boat to go there, just that it was getting paid in mana crystals. It picked up the other backpack with the mana crystals and swam back to its aquatic home.
A diver waited until the aquatic creature left and retrieved the backpack. No evidence was being left behind. He swam to a nearby boat and got in. He looked around before reaching for his phone and sent a text, "Device deployed."
"Good. Wait seven days. If they return, focus and take the primary target by any means necessary."
"Dead or alive?"
"Alive. Non-lethally wounded is acceptable. Secondary targets are the purple-haired woman, the Asian woman, and the brunette. It is an extra five million each."
The diver hung up and put the phone back into his bag. He stood up to stretch and fell overboard. The body sank into the water and blood was escaping from a bullet wound that went through the man's skull.
"Headshot, he's gone under," said the sniper.
"Good, have someone collect everything on that boat for inspection. Let's find the two groups that were following our friends and take them out before they return," ordered Kestrel then walked away from the abandoned church tower. The falcon was going hunting.
