"Lada di la di da, another peaceful day in my forest" an overgrown tree with crimson leaves jumped around the forest while giggling and happly singing, this scene might amuse or frighten you but as with all great stories there is a reason.
That tree was not a normal tree it was one of the tree kind an ent but still, he was not an ordinary ent he was the oldest ent that existed. His name or rather his former name was Thomas, he was a retired cop that reached the age of 100. He was alive to see his grandchildren and even his grandchildren's children all in all he had a good life and a happy ending.
But where would our story be with such an ending when he died he met something, he is still not sure if that was a god or a being of great power but he was requested to do a certain task which for some reason only he could do. The task was simply to become a tree and guard the flower in the middle of nowhere.
Yes and just like that old Thomas was reincarnated as the guardian of the sacred forest of Aleknar.
"Ahh feel that fresh air, its soo good without all the pollution in the old world if I ever get the chance I should really thank that...thing that gave me this chance" Thomas sat down his ginormous body on the ground which made it tremble because of his weight.
"I always loved nature but who would have thought that I would really become one with it haha" he joked about his current state, he could still remember his first days in this world and how hard it was to adapt to something this big.
"I only wish I was able to show my oldest granddaughter Lea this world she would have loved it hehe, she would always come to my home and tell me the wildest stories she read" there was little sadness in Thomas's voice but it quickly disappeared as he stood up and all of his branches and crimson leaves shook.
"Time to return home" Thomas slowly made his way towards the center of the forest, he passed by all kinds of wildlife on his way he was so amused when he learned that the creatures dint fear him instead they would always come near him and keep him company he was after all the guardian of the forest.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
The other threes where also alive but they never spoke, Thomas was sad at first because he thought the others hated him he learned later that they were simply too young to speak the words of the ent, he was relieved.
After a few hours of slow walking, he made it to the center of the forest in the middle was a ginormous tree far bigger than Thomas. In the middle of the three was a tiny hole where the most beautiful red flower stood.
Thomas slowly approached the flower, the flower sensing something approaching it shook a little which made a red bubble appear that enveloped it completely.
"Do not worry little one it is I, Grandpa!" Thomas spoke slowly in his elderly voice which made the flower disperse the red bauble immediately, "Grandpa!".
The flower shined in red light after a few momments a little girl with red long hair came out, she ran towards Thomas and tightly hugged his moss covered leg.
"Hehe did you miss Lily? I was only gone for a few hours" Thomas picked up the little girl and placed her on his big shoulders close to his face.
"I did don't leave me like that grandpa!" she puffed her cheeks in protest but her smile returned quickly.
"Well done why don't we take another walk together?" Thomas started walking towards the other side of the forest this time.
"Yay!" Lily yelled loudly as she was truly happy to spend her time with her grandpa.

"We must hurry they are right behind us Aleina!" a group of elves covered in blood ran towards the sacred forest of Aleknar, there were elderly and even children with them.
"I know Rei I know!" the woman named Aleina yelled back at the man Rei, all of them wore dark green cloths they blond hair made them stand out in the forest which is why they all had hoods on their heads.
"Aleina are you sure we should run towards the sacred forest? You know all to well the other name of the forest!" the man Rei spoke to Aleina whit a weary tone.
"I know but what other choice do we have the humans are right behind us I can still hear their war dogs on out heels! I would rather whish death in the crimson forest than be a slave to humans!" she snapped back at Rei.
"Very well.." he was silenced, Aleina nodded at him she knew that this was not a normal forest something lurked in it something ancient she knew she felt it, but what other choice was there.
"Everyone keeps running we are almost there!"
