At five in the morning, Clark went down the stairs and entered the dorm's kitchen. Back when Oscar had first arrived, he'd given Clark some company when I was time for pre-dawn light. However, it seemed that time away from the farm had broken the habit for the young boy. Clark was the only one awake.
It was still dark outside. The winter sun wouldn't rise for a few hours. The weather forecast had said it would be cold too, but the women in the warehouse should still be okay.
Clark took out the ingredients he'd bought last night for simple filling meals. Bread, ham, cheese, and vegetables for sandwiches. Rice too, since that only needed to be washed and put in the rice cooker. There were also some Mistralian foods that he'd bought from markets. Pickled radishes, spicy cabbage, and a type of broccoli called gai lan. All delicious and stuff he'd never tried back home or in Vale. They were also already packed, so all he had to do was place them in bags. The rest wasn't difficult to make, but it wasn't easy when he had to feed over twenty people.
Normally, he'd devote this time for the Interference. He still was, since the food was for the women he'd rescued last night, but cooking was very different from the usual article reading and note-taking.
An hour later, he changed into his Interference clothing and sped down to the warehouse with plastic containers full of food. He heard most of the women near the back door, so he headed there and knocked.
All conversation went silent and the majority of them tensed up.
"It's me, Farmer," he said.
One of them came forward. Oma opened the door, and she bowed slightly. "Hello, sir." She shuddered when a wind flew in, and her eyes went wide. "Oh no! Please, come in, you must be freezing wearing that."
"I'm okay," Clark walked in and wondered whether she'd bowed out of politeness, since it was customary in some parts of Mistral, or whether it was a habit the New Moon gang had forced her to follow. All the others were standing or sitting on blankets laid down on the ground, the lamps and portable generator nearby. In the far corner, blankets were hung up to cover where they'd relieved themselves. At least, based on the smell. It was faint to most noses, but Clark caught the scent far too easily.
He ignored it. "Are you all hungry?"
Oma answered for them. "Yes, sir. Very."
He lifted the bags. "Well I have enough food here to fill everyone up for today."
She smiled. "Thank you, sir. May we also empty the buckets?"
Clark gave an apologetic look at the mention of the buckets they'd had to use in place of toilets. "You don't need my permission for that."
"We understand, we won't mention it from now on. We'll take care of it on our own." She and a couple of other women carried them out.
Meanwhile, Clark approached the blankets and started handing out food and utensils, wooden chopsticks and plastic spoons. He had them wash their hands first with wet wipes, and even though they were hungry, he didn't get any complaints. They obeyed without a word.
A glance at their body language showed how uncomfortable they were around him. Hardly any of them would meet his eyes and their shoulders would hunch together.
"Oma?" Clark sat down by her and a few other women. "How close are all of you? Are you all friends?"
She shook her head. "No sir, we don't even know all of each other's names."
"Oh. Does that mean Chen took some of the women only recently?"
"That's true for a few of us, but there are some faces that I've seen since months ago but never had the chance to talk to. We were almost always kept in our own rooms except when we were serving customers."
So Chen hadn't just locked them up in tiny rooms and forced them into prostitution, he'd isolated them. Not even giving them a chance to depend on or support each other.
If there'd been anything in Clark's hands, stone, steel, Chen's fingers, it would have been crushed flat.
He breathed out to calm himself. "Even so, after you're done eating, would you help introduce everyone to me? I want to know your names at least."
"Sure, I can start now. These two are Dawn and Gwen." Oma used her chopsticks to point at the two beside her.
The blond was Dawn and the blue-haired woman was Gwen. They both lowered their heads. He bowed a little as well, which seemed to surprise them.
It took a little effort, but he was actually able to have a conversation with them as they ate. He was careful to avoid anything about their experiences with the New Moon gang. He needed details, but he could get them later.
Dawn was from a fishing town in the southern tip of the Kingdom. It had been a slow, quiet home that she'd hated as a kid. She'd wanted to leave as soon as possible. Although now that she actually had, she'd happily return.
Gwen had spent her entire life in the city. She'd wanted to be an actress and had gotten a few bit roles in theaters. She'd spoken about it as if it were a dream she'd given up, but a gentle reminder from Clark that she could still pursue it had gotten him a genuine smile.
It showed Clark that even though they seemed the most well-adjusted, they still suffered from a fatalistic mindset after their experiences with the New Moon gang. They talked about the happiness in their past lives as if they'd never have it again.
Oma, though, was different. She was in her thirties and had a husband and two children, a daughter and son, she wanted to get back to. Clark had also been lucky enough to bring her some of her favorite foods. The radish reminded her of how her mother used to make them, and she ate them quickly. The others were still eating as she walked him around to meet them.
Most opened up a bit thanks to Oma's company. She was one of the oldest women here, which apparently gave her some authority. Some thanked him profusely, even going to their knees and placing their foreheads on the floor. That made him incredibly uncomfortable, but he accepted them as calmly as he could. The rest were timid. Including Alexandra, who hardly even spoke to him.
"Thank you for talking to everyone, sir," Oma said when they finished. "There are a lot of people remember though, should we get nametags?"
"No, I remember them fine." He quickly listed off about eight of them to prove it.
Her eyes were wide, then she chuckled. "Then it looks like I'm the only one who needs nametags. I'm having trouble with the new faces."
"Actually, there will be some more people coming over, so nametags are probably a good idea. I'll bring some over."
After a visit to a store selling office supplies, Clark dropped off stickers that they could place on their clothing and markers for them to write with. They weren't the only ones who'd use them. Clark planned to bring in everyone later. Ruby, Jaune, Pyrrha, Phil, and Andrea. He needed as many people as possible in order to help these people and discuss their next steps.
"I'll be gone for a little while, and I may or may not be bringing a few people back," Clark told Oma. "Is there anything else you need my help with for now?"
"No, sir."
"Alright. By the way, you don't have to keep calling me sir. Farmer is just fine."
"Okay . . . Farmer," she said the name slowly, trying it out. "Thank you."
He nodded and walked around to a corner. He raced to the home of a couple Phil had informed him about, people who were best suited to helping the trafficking victims.
Clark pressed the doorbell. A musical chime played, and he heard an elderly man approach.
The man opened the door. "Hello?" He wore a puzzled expression when he saw Clark's masked face.
"Hello, sir. I'm Farmer. Phil Helios said he told you about me?"
His eyes lit up in recognition and a grin spread across his face. "Ah, that's right. Come in. Come in. I'm Paion Asclepius." He looked aside and raised his voice. "Xiang. The visitor that Phil messaged us about is here."
An Eastern woman who looked about Mr. Asclepius' age came out from the kitchen. "You're here, good. Welcome. Come, sit. Do you want any tea?"
"No thank you, ma'am." Clark took the offered seat on an armchair while the two sat across from him on a couch. "Mrs. Asclepius-
She raised a finger to correct him. "Oh, actually I'm Mrs. He."
"I'm sorry. I thought you two were married."
"We are," Mr. Asclepius said. "We just decided to not do anything with our surnames. By the way, I don't expect you to go 'Mister Asclepius' all the time. Just call me Paion and my wife Xiang."
"Okay, I will. Has Phil told you what I need your help with?"
"No," Xiang answered. "He only told us that you need our help, and that you'll be wearing a mask because you're in danger from those terrible crime cartels."
"And you two were willing to help just because of that?" Clark asked.
Paion answered. "Well, we won't trust just anyone, but Phil's a good kid. We'll hear you out at least."
"Then I'll explain." Clark summarized the situation of sheltering the women that the New Moon gang had used as sex slaves. He needed people who could stay and take care of them. It shouldn't be too long, and he was reluctant to ask so elderly a couple, but their help would go a long way.
During his story, they expressed sincere shock and disgust at making money off of forcing prostitution. Clark hadn't decided yet whether or not they could be trusted, but their reactions were good signs.
"Phil mentioned that you both have caretaking experience. Can I ask what kind?"
"Yes, we were both doctors," Xiang said. "I was a general practitioner, and my husband was a psychiatrist."
Then they'd be very suited for their roles. Now he just needed to ask a few more questions. Use all of his senses to make sure they honestly wanted to help.
"Paion, Xiang, do you want to help take care of these women?"
"Yes." They both answered.
"How come?" If they were the type of people he could trust, this question should be a no-brainer. "I don't mean to be rude, but what do you expect in return?"
"That's not rude at all. It shows that you've learned something after being in this city," Paion winked at him. "You're not the only one who's doing the vetting, if we think you're not the one to help those girls, we'll tell you."
"Paion dear, answer the question before going off on tangents." Xiang turned from her husband and faced Clark. "Young man, in return for my efforts, I expect those girls to be safe and looked after. What else is there to say?"
"You're right dear, and I feel the same way of course."
Clark smiled. They all shared the same motivation.
"Besides, it's good to get some volunteer work in," Paion said. "The retired life's not for me, I need something to keep me busy."
"Then it seems like this will be convenient for everyone. I can bring you to them right now, do you need to prepare anything first?"
"Plenty," Xiang said. "Before that, I have a few questions. How much food, water, and clothing do they have? How are they dealing with the cold?"
"Right now, enough food for the day and water for a few more. They have blankets, but their building doesn't have power. There's a generator though, and I can get a few heaters. I think each should have at least one change of clothes, I grabbed a bunch from the New Moon's hotel."
"I see. Hold on for a moment." She left and came back with a notepad and pen. Her husband also went upstairs to retrieve something, and she continued. "Hygienic supplies then? Do they have enough soap, water, toothbrushes, toothpaste, pads or tampons?
"N-no, none of that. There's no running water in the building I was able to provide for them. I didn't think to get soap, toothbrushes, or toothpaste but I'll buy some. And the, um, other stuff too."
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
She gave him a disapproving look. "Young man, are you honestly rattled by the mention of tampons?"
"A little," he admitted awkwardly.
"Please grow up then."
"Yes ma'am."
Paion returned with everything he already needed, a few notebooks and pencils. He also asked about the women's behavior, and Clark answered his questions. In addition, he shared his concerns of how they'd cower around him. According to Paion, it was an understandable reaction, and he'd do whatever he could to help.
Xiang had a longer list of necessities. Besides what she'd already mentioned, they needed health kits not just for first aid, but to check for sexually transmitted diseases. Tubs for cleaning themselves and clothing, towels for drying them off. The amount for twenty-one women wasn't cheap, and even the savings in Clark's hardly used bank account would suffer. He'd probably have to ask the others to chip in.
"I'll make sure to buy everything you've mentioned." He promised Xiang. "Do you want to go meet them now?"
They did. Both had bags with some spare supplies from their house. Clark had offered to carry them, but they'd insisted. They were 'old, not decrepit'. Based on their vigor, he had to agree.
"By the way, I'm a huntsman. I have an ability which will get us there fast. To you, it'll be like we're suddenly there. Please don't be alarmed." Then, he flashed them to the warehouse.
"Y-you weren't kidding." Paion stared at their surroundings. "Xiang, he really teleported us across the city."
She had the same wide-eyed look as her husband. "He really did."
Clark chuckled and brought them inside. The women went silent and gave curious looks at the newcomers, perfect for making an announcement. "Everyone, these two are caretakers. They'll be helping you and probably spend the most time with you. Would you like to introduce yourselves?"
"I'm He Xiang."
"Paion Asclepius."
Oma came forward and bowed to them. "We're glad to meet you. As you can see, I'm Oma." She pointed at her nametag. "I've sort of been assigned as a leader for them. I'll be happy to help you however I can."
"Thank you," Paion said. He turned to Farmer. "Giving nametags is a good idea. Nice work."
"Actually, Oma was the one who suggested it. Also, if you two don't mind, can you wear the nametags too? There are going to be more visitors later."
They agreed. Clark was also about to put one on but was stopped by Oma.
"Farmer, I don't think you need one. We all know who you are. Unless it's for your visitors?"
"No, they know who I am." Clark set down the nametag. Jaune was a similar height to him, but even with the masks, they could be told apart by hair and build.
Xiang and Paion seemed to be getting along with everyone, so Clark left to buy the things on the list. It took multiple trips to carry over everything, and once he was finished, he left to do some Interference work.
First, he checked the news. Clark's attack on the hotel had made headlines. Chen Yu and his gang had been arrested last night, but Simon Atreus wasn't facing any charges. In fact, the police were actually calling for the arrest of the 'masked man' who'd assaulted him.
Unbelievable. Atreus would get off scot free unless Clark did something fast. However, he also had to be careful. There was no telling how far the man would go to silence this, and he couldn't let any of the victims get hurt.
Clark checked on directly on Atreus next. He was at the Mistral Central Police Station and showed no sign of any guilt or regret at nearly raping a woman the previous night. Clark waited for a while to see if he'd mention anything that could be used against him, but he mostly just talked to the press and denied any implications of crime.
What was left was the usual Interference work. Disrupting any violent crimes he happened to notice, watching police to see if any still tried to accept bribes, and spying on the families and syndicates.
When Ruby, Jaune, and Pyrrha were finished with classes, Clark sent them a message detailing what he'd encountered last night and how he needed their help. They didn't even hesitate when he asked and changed into their Interference outfits.
"Sex trafficking," As they walked to the warehouse, Pyrrha spat the words out with vehemence rare for her. "I never thought crime was so rampant in Mistral that even the chief of police would be involved."
"Cl- Ruby corrected herself. "I mean, Farmer. We said we'd help, but what can we do?"
"I'm going to need you to guard them, especially later," Clark said. "For now, just talk to them and help take care of them. By the way, Knight." Clark used Jaune's alias. "A heads up, they're wary around men. Stick with the caretakers or one of these two."
Jaune nodded.
"Get ready." Clark rapped on the metal side of the warehouse and announced. "It's Farmer."
Paion was the one to open the door. "More masks, huh? You all in trouble like Farmer?"
"Something like that, sir," Pyrrha said.
"Oh no, please don't call me 'sir', it makes me feel old. Call me by my name." He pointed to his nametag.
Smiles spread through the four of them. Clark hadn't seen much of it, but Paion's grandfatherly nature was good at setting people at ease. Even the women inside seemed fine with him.
They came inside and the three put on nametags. Ruby and Jaune wrote Sharpshooter and Knight respectively in big sloppy letters, but Pyrrha's Prevail was nice and neat. During introductions, the women had carefully eyed their weapons. When Clark told them the newcomers were here to protect them, they relaxed.
Jaune split from Pyrrha and stayed with Paion. Clark didn't know the details, but the two partners still hadn't made up after their recent argument.
Actually, Pyrrha seemed open to reconcile, but Jaune was the one avoiding her even when the separation was hurting both of them. Now wasn't the time to deal with that though, so Clark saved the issue for later.
Meanwhile, Ruby was slow to part with Clark. She stood by his side awkwardly until Olivia, one of the younger girls, approached.
"Hello," she said.
"H-hi," Ruby answered with a wave.
"How come you're called Sharpshooter?"
"I'm pretty good with guns." Ruby swept her black cloak aside to reveal one of her pistols.
"Really, how old are you?"
Ruby looked at Clark. "Am I allowed to tell her?"
He grinned. "I don't really think they'll believe you if you try to make yourself seem older." She was only a few inches taller than Olivia, and her voice . . . well, it wasn't the most mature sounding.
"Hey! I'm still an adult," Ruby frowned at him. It turned into a smile when she faced Olivia. "I'm sixteen."
"I'm fourteen."
Ruby gasped. "You're fourteen and you've already-already-" She was at a loss for words.
Olivia shrugged. "I've had sex. Some men like younger girls."
Even Clark was shocked at how casually she mentioned it. He wasn't even sure how to respond to that, but Olivia broke the silence for them.
"Thank you, sir. For saving us." Olivia bowed to Clark and looked up with admiration in her eyes. She didn't meet them for long and looked to the ground, shuffling her feet. "I-if you like young girls too, I could-
"No! No, I don't want that at all!"
At Clark's tone, she tensed up and lowered her head. "I-I'm sorry, sir." She scurried away.
Paion approached and asked. "Young man, what in the world was that about?"
"I-I'm sorry for yelling, but that young girl just propositioned me."
Paion's relaxed his upset look. "Ah, I see. Farmer, your reaction was understandable, but please remember that many of these girls' ideas on their bodies and sex are warped. Especially the younger ones."
Clark reprimanded himself. "Right. Right. I should have realized that."
"I-I just couldn't believe it," Ruby said, still shocked. "Fourteen years old. She's just a kid."
"Yes, I've even been told that some of these girls were forced to service men my age. Men old enough to be their grandfathers, sickening." Paion bared his teeth. It took a few seconds for him to calm down. "However, we have to take care not to show shock or disgust at what they consider normal. I doubt we have the time to solve their issues properly but try to correct them gently. Inform them that they're no longer being treated as commodities for others' pleasure."
Clark nodded. "Thank you, sir. We're lucky to have you. Could you also inform Knight and Prevail?"
"Of course."
Clark looked at Olivia. She'd gone over with the few other girls her age and had a glum look.
"Ruby, can you go try talking to Olivia again?" he asked.
She was hesitant, but after looking at the girl, determination shone in her eyes. "I will."
She walked over to them and reintroduced herself. Clark listened in from the distance.
"H-hi guys, sorry about that earlier."
"Is Farmer mad at me?"
"No! Not at all. He was just surprised. He cares about all of you."
Paion was talking with Jaune, telling him the same things he'd told Clark and Ruby. Meanwhile, Oma was helping introduce Pyrrha to some of the other women.
Clark told Xiang that he was leaving, and that the next time he came back, the last two visitors would be with him. Phil and his friend Andrea.
\\\\\
In the evening, for the first time all members of the Interference were gathered in one place. Phil and Andrea stuck the nametags to themselves and went through introductions. As Paion and Xiang watched over the women, the six of them moved to a corner to discuss their next steps.
Clark began. "I want as many of them as possible to testify and press charges against any men they recognize. Simon Atreus especially, this is our best chance to get him removed as police chief."
Andrea crossed her arms and fumed. "Hell, I knew he was dirty, but I didn't think he was involved in a sex ring. I should have gotten better info."
"Are they . . . are they okay?" Phil asked.
"About as much as they can be," Clark answered. "We'd be a lot worse off if you hadn't told me about Paion and Xiang."
Phil glanced over. "There's a lot of them, though. I hope they won't be overworked."
"I'll try my best to make sure they won't be," Clark said. "Now, we have to plan out how to let them testify safely. If we do this wrong, Atreus might get to them. I think we should let them go to police stations and report what Chen did to them while we stand guard. Sharpshooter, Knight, Prevail, you'll be helping with that."
The three of them nodded.
"Um, no offense Farmer, but are they really up to it?" Andrea asked. "Sharpshooter here for example seems a bit young."
"That's because she is." Clark spoke before Ruby responded. Her mask hid her face, but he could tell she was annoyed. "However, you can trust her. You can trust all of them. Sharpshooter's killed dozens of Grimm and even has experience fighting huntsman-level criminals."
"Damn, really?" Andrea looked at the young girl in a new light. "Never mind then."
"I think we should also keep some of the women here in case Atreus manages to get to them," Phil said. "I'm hoping he doesn't of course, but we should be safe."
"That's a good point," Clark said.
"I have a question. Shouldn't we add a step before bringing them to police stations?" Pyrrha asked. "Farmer, you said that Phil has some other officers which seem trustworthy. Seeing how they react to a woman asking to report against Atreus would be a good test."
"Oh yeah, that would definitely save us some time," Andrea said. "It wouldn't surprise me to find a rat who thinks he can get good with Atreus if he hands one of these girls directly over to him."
"How many of these police officers are there?" Clark asked.
Phil answered. "Five so far. I think they all have shifts tonight or early in the morning."
"Okay, that's perfect, because I want to do this quick. The longer we wait, the more doubt Atreus injects into the media."
They decided on a few more specifics, and once they were done, Clark asked for all the women to gather so he could address them. They sat on their blankets, Paion and Xiang with them, while Clark stood flanked by the officers and students.
He wasn't one for speeches, especially on the spot, but he tried his best. "Everyone, you're safe here. However, out there, many others like you aren't. Evil people, just like the ones who locked you up and used you, will still hurt and use others. A few of them might actually be the same ones that personally did this to you.
"It might seem hopeless, like that they'll always exist, and we can't do anything about them, but that's not true. You can stop them. You can tell the people of Mistral what they've done, and if enough attention falls on them, your words can have the power to make sure they never hurt anyone again. To make sure they never hurt you again no matter how much money or power they have.
"It's dangerous. I won't hide that fact or lie to you. However, I will promise that we will do all that we can to protect you. Especially me. You all saw how I handled Chen's men. At any sign of danger, I'll do the same to any police or gang members and bring you back here instantly. If you still don't want to testify, I understand. I'll even bring you to your homes, no matter how far they are.
"But before you make your decision, please know this. Mistral is a beautiful country with an awful and corrupt government. We've set ourselves the goal of reform, to change the government into one that runs legitimately with a police force people can trust. To achieve that, we need you. You have testimonies that can get rid of evil men like Simon Atreus or Chen Yu. Will you help us?"
It was a few, terribly long seconds until Clark got an answer. Alexandra stood up on shaky legs. She was frightened, nervous, but still had her say.
"I'll testify, Mr. Farmer."
Oma was next. And Dawn. Then a chain of women who said they'd offer their testimonies.
A few, however, gave their doubts. Three women, a short-haired brunette speaking for them. "Farmer sir, we're very grateful, but we're not going to courts. We've lived in Mistral all our lives, and we know they won't work. We also don't want to go home in the city, we want fresh starts somewhere else."
"You ungrateful bitches!" One of the other women shouted. "Farmer saved us and-
"Stop," Clark said. He didn't shout, but there was force behind his voice. "I'm not going to allow any shaming for anyone's choices. If that's what you want, I'll help you."
"Thank you very much sir. W-we're very sorry." She bowed deeply, almost at a ninety-degree angle.
They weren't the only ones. Three of the younger girls said they wanted to go home.
"Mr. Farmer, we're sorry, but we want to see our mommies and daddies," Eliana said. She was fifteen years old, but the child-like way she spoke was heartbreaking. It hinted at the young age they must have been when the New Moon had taken them.
"It's alright, I'll get you to them soon. Maybe even tonight if we work fast." Behind him, he heard Ruby taking off her mask and wiping away tears. He'd end up doing the same if he though too long on these girls' situation.
He got right ahead to informing the women about the Interference's plan.. They'd need some of them to testify now while the rest stayed here and would testify later if it seemed safe. To do that, they couldn't mention this warehouse or the Interference at all. Only say a masked man had helped them and nothing more. They were allowed to choose which group they wanted to be. Seven of them chose to testify now, while the eight remaining women would stay here.
Before he began, two of them asked to speak with him privately. Oma was first.
"Mr. Farmer don't let those women discourage you. They're not the only ones who've lived in Mistral all their lives. Someone like you, I'm sure you'll bring change to the Kingdom."
"Someone like me?" he asked. "Ma'am, you might be impressed by what you saw yesterday, but even the power to topple the government would be the wrong tool for changing it."
"That not what I mean. It's . . . I don't know how to say it, but I believe you. You care about everyone, us, your allies, the people of the country. You'll do everything you can to help them, I know you will. There were times when I serviced customers or Chen himself and heard about how the Interference affecting them. You've already done so much, and I have faith that you'll do even more."
"I-I'll try my best to justify your faith."
She dipped her head and left so Alexandra could talk with him.
"Sir, I'm sorry for what happened last night."
"There's no need to apologize. I don't know exactly what they did to you, but I understand that you were afraid. You behaved that way because you thought Chen would hurt you otherwise."
"B-but it was stupid. You'd come to rescue us and I almost-I almost-
"Trust me, Alexandra. I wasn't in any danger."
"Of course," she nodded, quick to agree. "But I still wanted to apologize, and I promise I'll repay my debt to you. No matter how scared I am, I'll come out as a witness against Atreus."
"You don't owe me any debt. If you decide to testify, I'd prefer you do it because it's the right thing, not that."
"I believe I do owe you a debt, but that's not all. You're right, I'd never forgive myself if I didn't take the chance to stop Atreus when I could." She smiled. Weak, shaky, and uncertain, but it was the first he'd ever seen from her.
"Thank you."
Then, the process of dropping the women off into the city began. Tonight, two of the women went to police stations while two more approached Lucas Balli and another officer he'd recommended.
It went off without a hitch. Clark monitored the women continuously with X-ray vision and super-hearing, and he had the students as extra safety for them. It was late in the night when they were satisfied and everybody went home, the elderly couple gave the women some tips to take care of themselves.
In the morning, Clark alone oversaw the interactions between the three remaining women and the police Balli had vouched for. Again, there was no incident, and those from last night hadn't gotten into any trouble either.
All that was left was helping the five who wanted to leave. The three women chose to stick together, and he brought them to one of the more remote towns in Vale so they could find new lives. Eliana also lived in Vale, but in the city rather than a town in the outer Kingdom. Olivia came from a village in Mistral to the east. Once they had their heartfelt reunions with their families, Clark left them. His job finished.
Last was a girl who lived the farthest away, Dwera. A faunus who came from Menagerie.
