There once was an old man who lived in a barren desert. He was wearing rags and was thirsty from the heat. When he was wandering the scorching desert, he came across a brick wall. A wall that stands tall and wide, with the sides stretching as far as the eye can see. He was determined to climb the wall and reach the other side.
“That doesn’t seem too tall of a wall. You can do this, Jenkins. Just like you practiced for the past years.” He encouraged himself as he placed his hands on the walls, grabbing a small ledge to hold on too. With a tug, he managed to lift his frail body up and started to ascend the wall. He had never felt this nervous before in his entire life. The adrenaline was rushing throughout his whole body as he grabbed ledge to ledge.
“So close! I’m almost there.” A few more and he’ll reach the top of the wall. But suddenly his hand slipped. “Ahhh!” he shouted.

Luckily, he managed to grab onto the top of the wall. He struggled as he pulled himself up, placing his arms and one of his legs at the top. The grip on his arms was fading away, but he did it. He climbed the wall.
His hard work was rewarded with the beautiful scenery on the other side of the wall. The luscious green grass, the beautiful plants, and the tall trees gave it a breathtaking view. And then he saw it. A lake! It is filled with clean water to drink! The only problem was going down the wall, but he was too happy to be tired and descended the wall right away. Climbing down was as tiring and dangerous as going up, but he didn’t care. When he got down, he ran straight to the lake and started drinking.
“Stop it right there!” a man shouted from a distance. He put handcuffs on the old man's arms. “Sir, you’re under arrest for crossing the border.”
The old man is now in jail, but the shade of the prison is better than the scorching heat of the sun. He may not be free, but he is happy.
THE END!!! :D
