As they went onward through the long hallway, they saw many doors around them, each leading to a room of it's own.

Eldon opened one of the doors and a stench of death overwhelmed the group, they found a room full of torture devices, meat hooks with remains of many bodies, and a large tilted wooden table upon which a body of a strange creature was laying. It's flesh was morphed and deformed, it's face lacked any eyes, and instead had an enormous tumor, and it's hands ended with large deformed claws.

"It seems that they are using the blood magic to morph the flesh of their creations" Luthor concluded.

"Why would they make such things?" Eldon contemplated as he approached the creation with the light of his torch, illuminating it's lifeless body.

"Necromancy, it would seem. The cultists use their twisted magic to prepare bodies for a necromancer, in order to raise an under army." His mentor replied.

"We must inform the crown!" Eldon's voice proclaimed, full of concern.

"Not so soon." Luthor interrupted; "For there are many more things to be discovered here; you see, The Cult of the Merciful ones, whose acolytes we fought in the forest, it is not alone, this must be a combined effort, a union of worshipers of different dark deities, all banished four thousand years ago after the Age of Calamity."

"Do you suspect that they could be returning?" Edgar's voice was full of concern"

"Who are you guys taking about?" Eldon was clearly confused.

"The evils that stood with Aroseth, the gods of the dark side" Edgar continued; "And if it is truly what we suspect, then a new dark age is upon us, it could bring the Second Age of Calamity".
