This day couldn't possibly get worse, though considering I was heading back to the orphanage I probably shouldn't say that, first I got into a fight defending my friend Lizzy from the local jock that won't take no for an answer, the asshole, and then taken to the Principle's office and told I was being suspended for two weeks. I wish I had broken his nose, but alas hitting him in the balls will have to do, it was rather funny seeing him curled on the floor in the fetal position crying and holding his sack, serves him right. My musings were disrupted when the school bus pulled in front of the Orphanage, ah "home" as they so desperately want me to call it, abusive more like. I stand and collect my backpack and walk off the bus nodding in thanks to the driver and ignoring his look of pity as I make my way up the walkway to the door of the Orphanage and use the knocker to bang against the door three times as we're all told to do and waited with my arms crossed over my chest.
The door opened just as I was debating about getting the book out of my backpack and reading to pass the time, I half expected the Madam, as she makes us call her, but instead it is little James and I wince as he speaks up softly. "Madam Mayflower is on the phone with the Principle now Sarah, I'm sorry I tried to get to it before she did." I shook my head and ruffle his short hair playfully as I step past him and say in my raspy tone. "It's fine James, she was bound to find out eventually and I'd rather she get to it and "teach me some damn manners" on me than you. Go on and do whatever it was you were doing hon, I'll be along to read you that book you like so much for bed alright?" He nodded and left going off to do whatever chore that the Madam had assigned him to while I stepped in and closed the door behind me hanging my backpack up on the hook by the door, why she still insists on using these old things when the tech now-a-days can do so much more I don't know but it is annoying.
I roll my shoulders out before popping my neck and made my way to the kitchen my head held high as I did so, though I winced slightly as I heard the calm voice from the doorway. "Ah yes, here she comes now, I'll be sure to refresh her on her manners Principle Fredrick, have a wonderful day darling." She hung up and turned towards me and I looked her over, her standard modest sundress meant to make her look like a cheery grandmother with her long gray hair and rather wrinkled face framing cold almost empty brown eyes along with a rather horrible mole problem deciding her face made a wonderful nesting ground. She spoke in that cold calm high nasally voice. "So you decided to kick Franklin in the privates for calling your friend a few names?" Right to the point as usual with her and the fact that her hands were not yet reaching for the ruler resting on the table meant she at least wanted to entertain what I had to say. "Yes Madam Mayflower, he called her a whore that wasn't even good for that, I seen red and kicked him in the same thing he likes to think with." I say proudly while holding my head high before blinking as I hold onto the table to stay upright, my cheek stinging as if someone had decided it made the perfect place to park a bat and looked at her holding the ruler in her hand and tapping it against her other hand. "You will not be allowed out of this Orphanage till your suspension is over, you will NOT be able to use your Gaming Pod for anything other than studying, and I will know if you do not study. When you get back to school I expect you to apologize to that poor boy is that understood?" I nodded dumbly trying not to let the tears fall as my cheek began to swell before walking towards my room finally letting my tears fall when she couldn't see me.
I shut my door softly as I went to the closet to look in the mirror and see if there was any blood from where she had hit me because it felt like she drew some blood. I hissed at the massive bruise forming on my cheek and closed the door before turning towards my bed and falling onto it and resting my head in my arms as I tried not to cry and failed mightily as I began to sob softly into my arms. I closed my eyes just to rest for a few minutes, imagine my surprise when I woke up to that bitch Mayflower tugging on my hair to pull me out of the bed and onto the floor. "Get into your pod NOW girl and get to studying, I have loaded the lessons that I learned when I was a young girl." She grabbed my arm and pulled me up and began shoving me towards the door while I stumbled still groggy and in pain, it showed how tired I was when i actually whimpered at her rough treatment as she herded me towards the stairs. I just barely managed to actually get some true awareness going to walk down the stairs towards the basement and the gaming pod that was down there.

I got to the door of the basement and opened it under her watchful eye sighing softly, at least I'll get to relax some and she can't touch me in there. I walked in and turned on the lights and smiled at the sleek pod in the basement, it's not one of the newer models, but damn if it doesn't look nice. I began to strip under her watchful eye before opening the pod and laying inside but before I could close the door she grabbed it and said in a quiet growl. "I've disabled the games so you will not be able to play anything so you can focus solely on learning what I downloaded." I winced before nodding meekly and waited for her to close the door and closing my eyes with a sigh.
I heard the door click shut and the pod vibrate as it powered up, I opened my eyes and grinned at the usual darkness that encompassed one using the Pod but frown at the screen in front of me. "Welcome lucky contestant! You have been chosen to bring the #^!@* to bring us entertainment! The chosen universe you are being sent to is Star Wars, specifically during the Clone Wars era! We look forward to the changes you will bring and the chaos you will cause." That... is foreboding. And then a character creator was more or less shoved straight into my face as I began to scroll through.
"Contestant this is the only time you will be seeing this screen! Do pick wisely!"

I grinned at all the options presented to me, and took my time scrolling through them though I stopped when something caught my eye, a large Gold Dragon from D&D. I clicked it and it grayed out the dragon form and instead presented a humanoid form, so I clicked that and it gave me several sliders to customize my form, I giggled in excitement and got to work. I left the head as the dragon, with it's horns sweeping back from it's brow and towards the back of it's head and another set starting just underneath the eyes and sweeping back as well, the tendrils on the bottom of the square draconic snout I made so that I could have limited manipulation with them along with sensitivity. I let gold scales take the place of skin along with clawed fingers on my hands and made strong and taught muscles to support the large sail like wings that started at the top of the shoulder and continued down to the tail and ran along the top of it. I also increased the size of her *ahem* assets since I had read once that having them full made a woman more attractive, I also gave her digitigrade legs with clawed feet, I paused and hummed before adjusting the slider so that she was 8'4 tall and then I fill in her name which was Celmarthe Lastfangs.
After having completed that I then hit submit and another popup appeared. "This form will have an increased affinity for the Lightside along with being able to pick up the emotions felt by others. You will also have a rather high weakness to Lightning, do you wish to continue?" I clicked yes and then began screaming as searing pain covered my entire body, I wish I could say I endured it but I very quickly passed out once I felt and heard bones snapping and passed into blissful darkness.
