William led a satisfying life, born in a volcanic archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic, since young he loved the sea. Born in to a long dated traditional fishing family, he was expected to follow his ancestors’ footsteps and become a man of the sea; however he broke traditions and went for a more passionate life. With the help of his aunt he learnt how to scuba dive and much later opened together a diving school.

 William was born with a gift; he was able to predict the weather, which might seem a useless skill in this day and age with all the technological advancements, however in an isolated island where an unexpected storm can reap your life such a skill was priceless. However even such a skill couldn’t save him from what’s to come…

 When William was 23 he decided that it was time to go see the world and open his horizons, he traveled to the main island and bought a ticket to a massive cruise that would travel around Europe, the cruise name was “Salvation”, during that travel he meet a dashing woman her name was Anabela, she was a Portuguese woman that was returning from a musical concert ,she was a musical genius and played amazingly well. Anebela was 2 years younger than William, had green eyes with a touch of brown, long blond hair and had that homely feel that some special people have.

Just like usual they were having dinner in the massive dinner hall of the cruise.

“I still can’t believe that you can swim around sharks and not freak-out!” 

“It’s really not big of a deal, if you know how to behave around them you can even feed them without losing a hand.”said William laughing

“Unbelievable” said Anabela slack-jawed

“Anyway, we should be arriving on “Madeira”, my brother went there before and said that the place was amazing, so I was wondering if you wanted to visit the place with me?...” said Anabela while blushing

“Yeah, sure…”said William while losing all the color in his face

“William are you alright??! You look like a ghost!” said Anabela 

“Y-yeah it’s just that I had a bad felling all of a sudden” 

BWOOM!! Suddenly a massive explosion sounded in the distance…. The hall panicked immediately, and it could be heard screams all over the place.

“W-William what was that??!” said Anabela clearly shaken

“We should be fine it’s a huge ship after all…” Said William, while nearly praying

“BEEB..”

“Passengers this is your commander…BWOOM …please remain calm the crew is trying to  understand the situation … BOOM” was heard from a speaker on the wall while explosions kept sounding far away.

"BOOOOOM" 

 “…you are to go to the nearest life boat….” Said a shaky voice from the same speaker 

“William we should go, there is a lifeboat near my room.” Said Anabela worried

“Y-Yeah let’s” said William while slightly shaking

… When they arrived they finally arrived outside they immediately understood what was happening, the island that they were traveling too erupted… It was like a demon rampaged on the earth, the night sky turned red and there was a massive column of fire and ashes in the air… But the worst by far was the colossal wave that came next towards them, towering over 60 m… William when looking at that wave  finally understood what that bad felling was … however he was smiling , smiling in the face of death while thinking, that it wasn’t so bad to die with her by his side…and it was obvious that she felt the same way , from the way that she was looking at him.

“William if there is an afterlife let’s meet again, Ok?!”Said Anabela while enveloping her hands around William

“Me meet with a ugly woman like you?!” said William whit a deadpan face

“You’re such an ass…. But that's why i love you…. “Said Anabela with a small laugh.

“And, yes I will meet you again…” said William while looking into her eyes, and in to the wave that was about to hit the ship.

William looked at her and promised that no matter what they would meet again, even if he had to defy the gods themselves.

Autor Note: Well folks here is my first chapter, I guess it might have come out with a bit to much drama, but I wanted create a drive for our MC and revenge is too mainstream in this site.  [th_084_.gif]
