The Ancient Dungeon of death - A powerful dungeon from long ago, said to be destroyed but many still quest after it seeking unlife eternal and endless power.
Cult of the Ancient Dungeon of Death - those who seek the dungeon, a loose confederation of lesser organisations which exchange resources among themselves.

Fra-La - local chapter cult leader
Ra-Lo - Local mage, Fra-La's master, master of the local tower, former master of the dungeon of embers, co-founder and advocate of the Mysterious Cloaks
Daisy/Day-say - Dungeon of goblins, sad stuff
Lord Fen-Ga-Na - Mayor of commune in the valley, his superior is Ra-Lo
Ha-Fa-Ma-Ka-Yo - Local farmer of moderate wealth
Mysterious cloaks - Full name Mysterious Cloaked Wanderers Association, odd jobs/mercenary association with a strong emphasis on anonymity.
Local Guard - Private army/hunting club of Ha-Na-Na, tends towards scouting rather than patrolling, posting dangerous sightings to the Mysterious Cloaks, with periodic hunts.
Cloud caterpillar - Approaching Armageddon
Sen-gin - Dungeon of blood, likes to flame and provoke conflict, sociopath.
Fe-La-Fo - Mysterious Cloaked Wanderer's Association overworked attendant. Periodically goes out to pick up girls, then when depressed takes on long shifts sleeping at the service counter as needed. Former apprentice of Ra-Lo
Ha-Na-Na - Powerful fighter, co-founder of Mysterious Cloaks alongside his old friend Ra-Lo
Ma-Kh - Former Dungeon Master of the Dungeon of Embers, nearly wrestled control of Freehaven from Ha-Na-Na and Ra-Lo
Freehaven - Nearest group of settlements to Todd's starting point
