Hi everyone!
There are a few things I’d like to address:
I’ve been writing without a backlog for a while now due to being too busy with my job, and I’ve noticed it’s starting to affect the story. When I had a backlog, it allowed me to refine and correct certain elements before publishing, which gave me more flexibility. I don’t have that cushion at the moment, so I’ll be taking some time off to rebuild a proper backlog and make some adjustments to the narrative choices, which I’ll outline next:
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
To start, I need to acknowledge that I never intended for the tower arc to last this long. Initially, I thought it would take around thirty chapters at most, which is why I established that you could only go through the tower once. However, we’re now over fifty chapters in, and only halfway through.
That being said, I’ve genuinely enjoyed writing the tower chapters and developing new floors and lore. But after the fourth floor, I think it’s a good point for Lucas to leave the tower and explore more of the world before returning later to complete the rest.
As mentioned, I’ll need some time to fix these aspects and rebuild a solid backlog, so I’m estimating a break of about 1-3 months. I appreciate your understanding, and I look forward to reconnecting with you all when I’m back. Thanks so much for reading!
