There is a real story that I never forget. It was in the summer of 2009. Before I went to my university as a freshman, I opened my school’s bbs named ‘cloud and water’. During surfing the web, I knew something terrible about this place.
Under the title as ‘Does, there has any ghost? Tell me what you have experienced!’ There have some answers for the question like this:
I remembered some terrible things about my dorm at No.13 boys’ dormitory. It was a summer’s night. We felt very dull, so we decided to play some games. Do you know about Ghost in a dish? When we played that game, my roommate told me about its rules: ‘firstly, you should have three other people who can play with you together; secondly, preparing a dish for the Ghost, and drawing a red which is called ‘cinnabar’ on the dish; thirdly, when the sky came down with dark, close your light in the room, and lighting the candle on the desk; finally, four of you guys fingering on the dish put on the paper written with yes or no, and say ‘GHOST OF DISH COME OUT PLEASE! GHOST OF DISH COME OUT PLEASE! GHOST OF DISH COME OUT PLEASE!’ When you find the candle wagging or the dish are moving means that THE GHOST OF DISH has come in the ROOM! Warning: don’t forget to say that ‘Ghost of dish we are finishing, leave please!’ and never ask Ghost: ‘what had caused you to die?’

At the beginning of our playing, everything happened as the rules have already told us. We saw the dish moved and asked: ‘Are you there, Ghost of a dish?’ The plate moved to yes. And then we said: ‘Are you a man?’ The vessel proceeded to no. But when we wanted to finish this game and said: ‘Ghost of dish we are finishing, leave please!’ The dish stayed at the no without any moving. We were hazarding for this because we must make the dish to yes, or we all die. Finally, we let the ghost leave. But the strange was that because of the terrifying, we yelled as loud as we could. After that night, our neighbours asked us: ‘Where were you at night?’ We answered:’ Just at the dormitory.’ He paused for a while and laughed: ‘Do you kidding me? We knocked on your door at 21 o’clock, nobody answered!’ We never answered him. At 9 p.m., the Ghost of a dish didn’t want to leave.
