As her parents led her to a strange place, Jenessa's mother told her to close her eyes. The smell of fish filled her lungs.
"Ew, it kind of smells gross back here," Jenessa commented quietly, not knowing if anyone was around since she couldn't see.
"This is our gift to you before you go to college," Her mother said lightly.
"You can open your eyes now"
When Jenessa opened her eyes the sight of black and white killer whales filled her eyes. She was overcome with joy and her heart was pounding so fast.
"I'm speechless," Jenessa said almost crying, "thank you so much." She said, turning and hugging them.
"Hello," said a gentle voice behind them, "you must be Jenessa." Jenessa turned around to see a tall, handsome, man that looked her age with black hair and grey eyes. Trying not to stare at him, she decided to say something.
"Yes, that's me," She said, blushing.
"Pleased to meet you," The handsome stranger said with a killer smile,"I am Landen."
"Nice to meet you Landen, of course you already know who I am," Jenessa said laughing nervously while managing a smile.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
"So have your parents told you what you are doing here?" Landen asked.
"No, but I think I know" She laughed softly.
"Well what do you think it is?"
"I think that I'm going to met a killer whale," said Jenessa
"Close" Landen grinned,"you don't get to met one, you're going to meet all of them,"
"No way," She gasped, looking at her parents who smiled and nodded. She turned back to Landen with an excited smile. Extending his hand he said smiling,
" Shall we start?"
"Yes, of course," she said grabbing his hand which was very soft.
" Ok then everyone right this and up the steps." as he helped Jenessa and her mother up the steps. Jenessa was kind of disappoint she want to hold his hand the whole tour. When they reached the building at the top of the steps Landen said
" Inside we will discuss rules." As soon as everyone was in Landen said,
"Ok so lets go over the rules. First rule: No running. Of course that one is obvious," he said laughing, "On to rule 2: No petting the whales unless you are told you can, and the last one is no swimming with the whales. Everyone got them."
"Yes," they responded.
" Ok then lets go," Landen said smiling.
