Once upon a time
In a land distant to all
Lived a young enchantress whose beauty chimed
And a kind prince whose virtue stood tall
----------------------------------------
Happily in each other they lived
Gently tending to their people
Unaware of the jealousy conceived
In the heart of one of her fellow pupil

----------------------------------------
For the young sorcerer for himself wanted to claim
The tender fairness of the enchantress
Disregarding her wishes and willing to maim
Her lover if it meant from her he would get a caress
----------------------------------------
And so, in cruel mutiny to her heart and the country
The sorcerer upheld a vicious coop
And with murderous intent and a bloodlust cry
He felled the gentle prince in one fell swoop
----------------------------------------
Wounded by the slaughter of her beloved
The enchantress cried out in rage
That she would never let herself by the sorcerer be loved
Not even after she perished of old age
----------------------------------------
And just as the fair Enchantress felt her heart tear inside her
An unrelenting anger burned in the sorcerer's selfish gaze
As he dastardly declared that she would not perish any sooner
Than after she lived eternally, as she could only look in a daze
----------------------------------------
And so, the wicked sorcerer cursed the beauteous youth
To a life of never-ending immortality
Laughing in a manner most uncouth
Destining her soul to part from her lover’s for eternity
