It was a normal day for Daniel. He woke up in the morning to the blaring sound of his alarm clock. With a groggy sigh, he got up, made a quick breakfast, showered, and brushed his teeth. By 7:30 A.M., his morning routine was complete, and he stepped out of his small apartment.
"Another day, another waste of time," he thought as he locked the door behind him.
The streets of Warsaw were already bustling with life, but to Daniel, it all felt repetitive - like watching the same movie every day. He glanced at his watch. 7:35 A.M. Twenty minutes till work, he noted with a sigh and started walking.
As expected, after a slow stroll through familiar streets, he arrived at the shop where he worked. On the other side of the road, the small convenience store stood just as he had left it yesterday. He checked for cars before crossing and pushed the glass door open.
"Hey, Mark," he greeted his coworker.
"Hey, Daniel. I see you're actually on time today," Mark smirked.
"Yeah, I don't wanna go job-hunting again…" Daniel muttered.
Eight hours later, Daniel dragged himself out of the store, mentally drained. Why are people so unreasonable? He had lost count of how many times customers had yelled at him for things beyond his control. This was his third job this year, and he couldn't help but wonder if life would ever change for him.
As he reached the front of his apartment building and reached for the door-
CRACK!
A blinding flash filled his vision. A searing pain tore through his skull, his body stiffened - then nothing.

When he regained consciousness, all he saw was darkness.
Absolute, suffocating darkness.
"Am I… dead?"
He waved a hand in front of his face, but he saw nothing. Just as panic began creeping in, a distant light appeared. It grew rapidly, engulfing his vision, until-
"WELCOME, MORTAL!"
A booming voice echoed all around him, making the very space tremble.
Daniel winced at the sheer volume. "Uh… thanks for having me? May I ask where I am?" His voice felt embarrassingly small compared to the entity before him.
"You are in my domain. You have died," the voice declared.
"Died?" The word felt foreign. His mind raced, trying to recall - the lightning!
"What the hell?! I died?! When? How?!" His voice rose, but before panic could fully take over, an unnatural calm settled over him. A strange force was keeping him from losing control.
"You were struck by lightning due to my son's mistake. You were meant to live another fifty years."
Daniel froze. "Wait… are you telling me I died because of some divine screw-up?"
"Watch yourself, mortal," the voice warned, and suddenly, the atmosphere turned ice-cold.
Daniel gulped. He quickly adjusted his tone. "I-I'm sorry. Uh, my name is Daniel. Can you tell me who you are?"
"You may call me ROB."
'ROB? Random Omnipotent Being? Is this some kind of cosmic joke?' he thought with skepticism.
"Alright, ROB," Daniel said carefully. "Why am I here?"
"Because of my son's error, I am offering you compensation. You may either be sent to Heaven, where you will live in eternal peace, or you may be reincarnated into another world with three wishes."
Heaven? Live happily forever? It sounded nice… but also painfully boring.
"I'll take the reincarnation," Daniel answered without hesitation.
ROB's presence seemed to shift, as though pleased. "State your wishes."
Daniel had already made up his mind. "First, I want The Gamer System. Second, I want the ability to travel through the multiverse. And for my last wish… I want to become a singular existence - a being immune to outside manipulation, unique across all realities."
ROB was silent for a moment. Then, a deep hum resonated through the space.
"Hmm… interesting wishes," ROB murmured. "Very well. Your wishes shall be granted."
Daniel barely had time to process the words before the light around him intensified.
"Goodbye, mortal. May we never meet again."
Then, everything went black.
