All around me was a mess of swirling streaks of white gas converging towards the centre where a deep black sphere was taking in everything around it. There was an empty void everywhere else and the only source of light came from said white gases and some sort of dots. A couple of those dots were what looks to be like stars were also present, however, they emitted a strange light instead of the usual ones back on Earth.

I was falling towards the center of this vortex, as if I was falling towards the center of a spiral galaxy. If only this wasn't a perilous situation that is causing me to feel fear and panic, I could have enjoyed this beautiful scene.

'It's not always where one can see such scenery like this. I should try and recreate this scene someday. Maybe in a painting or something. I am sure it's not just me who will enjoy this kind of scenery.'

Those were my thoughts as I fell towards the black sphere. It was kind of unusual to be thinking of such things while 'quote on quote' falling to one's demise. But hey, I wasn't your typical average human anyways, so who cares?

'I wonder if I'm the only one who went through this? Could it be that those other people also went through here? I bet most of them crapped their pants or something. Hahaha!!'

Laughing at the silliest of things, as if there are no bigger problems ahead. Thinking about it more, I shouldn't have mocked and made fun of others, but that was just at the back of my head at the moment.

With such thoughts, that is how I began my new life.

Reality Omega, Unknown Nursery

Bright light. That was all that I could see. It was not like the other times during the fiasco at the place I call 'outside.' That's right, I started referring to that weird place where I had to decide about my destiny as the outside.

'Woah' I feel like I've just been lifted suddenly. 'Why do I feel like I am up so high?!'

"Wahh!!"

'Was that a child's cry I hear? Why does it sound so close? I hope I'm not scaring the little one'

"Waahh!!"

'There it goes again. I wonder if that was a newborn, what with its raw and loud crying.'

"Haha!" boomed by a man with a deep baritone voice. "He has a good set of lungs. He'll grow up a fine man one day." declared by who I assume is the father of that newborn child.

'Hang on, when was it decided how a man grows up.' I asked myself.

"I agree my love. We have such a beautiful child. He'll make a lot of ladies fall for him." said by a woman with a melodious voice.

I felt warm like a child being cradled. It was making me feel a bit dizzy to be honest. I still can't see anything but I could somehow hear a few words from my surroundings. Then a thought hit me.

'Wait, I was told we'll be given a second chance at life by those beings, is this that chance?'

I realized just then that I was born again in a different world, a new reality. I was probably returned into one of those game cabins and entered into the game world again by those beings.

'Let's try squinting my eyes to see what this new world looked like. What I can expect from this new chance they gave me as well as see if I can get any clues that might help me finish the task sooner.'

'I was given an empire-building challenge, maybe I'm born as the son of some sort of noble. It's also possible that I'm in a secluded village, far away from society, where I can summon buildings, materials, and maybe even people.'

I kept trying to open my eyes, without even noticing that my cries got louder. I only noticed it when I suddenly felt tired and sleepy.

Mansion, Nursery Room

It has been about a week now since I was born. I have been mostly eating and sleeping. The few times I tried to think or even doing something like just looking around took a lot out of my weak body.

I wake up in the morning around 8-10 and I get fed usually by either my mother or some of the family servants. Then I spend the next few hours trying to gather information. Whether from the gossips of the servants, to listening to my mother retelling me myths and legends. Sometimes I overhear her talking about the on-goings both in and outside of the house which is not a lot considering I pass out by then due to extreme tiredness from, you guessed it, my weak body.

'Curse this useless body! How am I supposed to accomplish my task in this state. Those beings should have just given me an adult body, or at least a teenage one. I can barely think about anything in my current state.'

From the few facts and knowledge that I've learned, I've been able to grasp a few common knowledge about my new life. It seemed like my name in this life is Blake, Blake Donovan. The family name that I have, Donovan, suggested that I was born in a noble family.

It seems like father is some sort of important person with a high position in this kingdom, as for what it is exactly, I have no clue. My mother came from a respectable family as well. They got married around five years ago and from what my mother has told me, I've three older brothers as well, each of us one year apart. I have not seen them yet because apparently we each have our own rooms.

'How many rooms does our house have if four children can each get their own room? My father really must be at a very high position in this kingdom.'

'I hope this body can start coping soon so that I can start gathering some information and prepare for my challenge. I really need to start planning my moves but...'

'Oh look! I'm tired once again. Uhh!!'

And back to sleep I went.

-The Next Day-

'Oh wow!' I exclaimed excitedly.

I have been reborn for just a week and a day now and my previous roadblock, my weak body, has gotten stronger and is now capable of handling my abnormal brain function, for a newborn child. After a week of suffering from being unable to formulate my plans, I can now go on overdrive.

Especially that game screen that I saw back 'outside' which contained my task and some of my stats as well. I should also start thinking about learning some great physical skills in order to defend myself and rely less on others.

'Hmm... If I'm careful and gather enough info on how the house functions, the duties of everyone and the places where they usually visit, I could also find a unique time and place for me to practice said skills.'

'Of course, I should first figure out if I can already walk, or possibly even crawl. Uuhhhh!!'

I was exasperated and getting tired of all these bottlenecks towards my growth, although to be fair, I am just a newborn.

'What the heck is this?!'

An overwhelming feeling came to me. What kind of stats were these? 0 strength? 1 for agility and charm? These were very low numbers. It's even below the average for this world. It's a good thing only I can see it, or it would have caused me a lot of trouble.

This is just the beginning and I have such stats under my name. At least my tasks didn't change. I have so much to think about especially with how my stats are at the moment.
