Chapter 13 - The God of Destruction I

The God of Destruction

I

Unknown location

(12 hours after the top ten revelations)

Naruto Ōtsutsuki

The GodKing of Monsters

Sage of Absolute Order

Solomon felt the corners of his vision getting blurred as he saw the list of the new top ten. He already guessed almost all of them correctly beforehand, but the ranking of the only being he could not guess made all the difference. And it was not only his ranking but also what he announced after… the new high-tier faction. He took a deep breath to calm himself down, “This just made things harder.”

“How so,” Rizevim kept reading the document that Solomon had provided. It had the records of the actions taken by other factions before the revelation of the core stone as well as a summary of what had transpired during the revelation. Although Rizevim was acting as if everything was going as usual, Solomon knew that was not the case. There was a reason many were saying that the supernatural world would be going through a massive change. And unfortunately, he could see that happening.

“Are you really asking me that? You are the older one here,” Solomon started rubbing the side of his forehead, “Do you know why other factions did not fear the Biblical faction and the Hindu faction, even though the Biblical God or the Trimurti could wipe them all out without any effort? It is because they are extremely pacifist to the point it is nauseating. Fortunately, that worked out well for everyone.” Solomon tapped the paper that he was holding, “But this will ruin the balance.”

“Naruto Ōtsutsuki will not be able to move from now on.” Rizevim argued back in a laidback voice, “Now that his name is on top of the list, he has to take care of every single step he takes. Even the so-called Alliance will not be able to move as easily as they made it sound like.”

Solomon resisted the urge to scowl, “Look Rizevim, I completely understand your point of view. If you compare him with others, then what you said is correct. But, this is the same mistake Sirzechs and Zekram made. His actions are not something you can predict or dissect just because you have been dealing with supernatural beings for a long time. For the past few months, I have been studying him. His past, his present, his actions, his Kingdom; I have been trying to find out anything I can about him. Even then I was not able to predict any of the moves he had taken during the revelation. So be wary of him; Naruto Ōtsutsuki does not play by ours or anyone’s rule.”

Rizevim closed the documents, his gaze told Solomon that he was not happy, “I am not stupid, Solomon. Trust me, dealing with Supernatural beings for millennia is quite useful to determine who is playing by the books and who is not. Naruto Ōtsutsuki is someone who we should never directly confront in any way or shape, because the possibility of us coming out alive from the direct confrontation is quite slim as we are now. But that should not be a problem for us since our targets are the other factions and not the Avalon Kingdom.”

“You do realize that he is maintaining the Alliance as well, right?” Solomon scowled outright this time, “Meaning that with one sweep he had taken control of everyone and everything who was not part of any factions. And that is not all. In one night, he changed the foundation of our world. Do you really think someone like that will let others dictate what he can or cannot do?”

Rizevim did not say anything after that. After a moment, he sighed as he activated his magic, “I will be leaving then. I have some adjustments to make.” Then he teleported away.

Solomon kept staring at the spot where Rizevim was for a few more seconds before he turned his gaze away. He dropped the paper but before it could reach the ground it was burned to literal ashes.

Solomon took deep breaths as he felt the anger bubbling inside him.

A lot of his plans had just gone down the drain. He expected something like that might happen, so he had backup plans. And he knew he could salvage the situation but unfortunately, he would definitely be annoyed over this. And when he was annoyed, things would get troublesome for Solomon.

“I need a drink.”

Amaterasu, the capital of the Avalon Kingdom

(Two months after the top ten revelations)

It had been two months. Two months since the core stone resurfaced revealing the new Top Ten rankers. That day, no, during that period many other surprising revelations were made other than the Top Ten. Naruto wanted the focus on the supernatural world. He achieved it, there was no questioning it, but not the way he wanted. What the whole supernatural world was focusing on right now… was the fact that now he, Naruto Ōtsutsuki, was the second strongest being right after the Biblical God if one were to exclude Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon. And then there was the fact that he was directly leading the Alliance, the new high-tier faction.

Naruto was not naïve. He understood where the fear, the cautiousness, and the reluctance were coming from. But that did not stop him from moving forward. After all, he was used to this. Unfortunately, that did not mean that he could just simply brush this off and continue taking action thoughtlessly. He simply carried on his duties as usual, but a bit more cautiously. He personally reached out to Odin and Indra to get their help in hiring the staff and creating the curriculum for Elemental Academy. Odin was surprised, only because of how quickly Naruto came to him. But it was nothing compared to Indra who was completely shocked. But even then, both of them welcomed him with respect.

As expected, seeing how the Hindu faction and the Norse faction started helping out, other factions started sending their representatives. Naruto expected this. He also knew that there would be some disagreements. But what he did not foresee was the extra workload caused by other factions. The Biblical Heaven faction kept inviting him for small talks and would hint for him to visit their Heaven. Right now, it was a no-go for him because of what had happened with the Devil faction. Low it might be, there was still a possibility for the Devil faction to act out if he were to interact with any other side of the Biblical faction.

Yes, the four Satans might be okay with him meeting the Angels but not the Devil council. And Naruto did not want to be the reason to create civil unrest. Unfortunately, that meant that he had to fix this first if he wanted the Biblical faction to send representatives to Elemental Academy. And then there was the fact that the Greek faction joined openly. Even though only Athena was communicating with him and there was no sign of Ares, it still meant that Naruto had to keep an eye out for them.

Unfortunately, he made a blunder. Even though he made sure no one was pushing themselves too much with extra work, it seemed he forgot how stubborn his friends and family could be.

Naruto opened the door to his room, a bit more roughly than he wanted it to be. Yasaka did not flinch but her face showed resignation. The maids who were tending to her immediately left without a word.

“Naruto-kun, it was just minor energy exhaustion. It is not a big deal, trust me.” Yasaka let out a charming smile. She was lying down on their bed, looking fully healthy and rested.

But no way in hell he was going to fall for that. Yes, Yasaka looked fine and he could feel her energy already replenished but the fact remained that she pushed herself too much. From what he heard, she overextended her power while helping Susanoo with the expansion of the third city of the Avalon Kingdom. He would thoroughly check the details later. Not that it would matter.

Yasaka let out another sweet smile, it seemed she was trying hard to pacify him, “Naruto, I am fine. Really. I know things are hectic but I should have taken better care of myself. Please do not worry too much.”

Naruto sighed. She was reassuring him so that he would not take too much time off from his work. Shaking his head, Naruto marched toward Yasaka, the doors closing behind him. When he reached their bed, he made a swipe motion with his index finger and the bed sheets flew off from her. And then without a word, he picked up Yasaka who was equally stunned and confused.

“Naruto! Put me down!”

Carrying Yasaka princess style, Naruto then went toward the balcony of their room. Seeing his destination, Yasaka became more confused. At least, she stopped struggling. The balcony doors opened by themselves and then he stepped out onto the balcony. It was one of those small comfy types of balcony. Heck, their whole bedroom is a cozy type instead of those gigantic luxurious ones he heard some of the faction leaders had.

Naruto sat down on a comfortable big chair and gently put Yasaka on his lap, who looked at him confused, “Naruto?”

Naruto kissed Yasaka’s cheek, and then put his chin on top of her shoulder, “You know love, I did not have many regrets in my past life. Yes, as a human, I always wished I could have done things better. I should have done things differently. But, in the end, everything worked out. But that does not mean I will not learn from my mistakes and incompetency.” Naruto released a deep breath before continuing, “There was one mistake I used to make often during my time as the Hokage. I would get too engrossed in work and make others worry about me. But what really hit me later was that because of my work sometimes I felt like I have not spent enough time with my family… my real family.”

Yasaka slightly turned her head, “Naruto-koi, you were a leader. You had…” She could not finish as Naruto raised his head and kissed her on the lips. It was one of his mischievous kisses. He smiled into the kiss while she pouted. Naruto backed away and grinned at her, “No interrupting, love. This is a lesson for you.”

Yasaka blinked cutely and then returned his smile.

“Yes, I had roles and responsibilities. But I could have thought outside the box and I could have come up with solutions. I should have. But I did not. I was so focused on taking care of everyone that sometimes I forgot that I have a few very precious people whom I should focus more on. Yes, I considered the village my family. But did that not also mean that I failed the village if I could not keep my actual family happy?” Naruto felt Yasaka stiffening but gave him a reassuring smile, “Again, no harm done. But I should have handled that better. And that is what I am doing right now. I am making sure that no matter what I will not neglect my family and my close aides.”

With that, Naruto stretched his arm and slowly made a fist. The air in front of them started to distort. Quickly the distortion took a form, and it was a clone of Naruto.

Yasaka gave him a side glance, “Another clone jutsu?”

“Not just any clone jutsu, my love. This is the clone jutsu.” Naruto chuckled, “Shadow clone is an all-rounder jutsu while Blood clone is for a very specific purpose. But they both lacked the finesse and flexibility that I had always desired,” Another side glance from Yasaka made Naruto grin again, “The shadow clone jutsu itself is flexible but not the clone itself. So, lo and behold, I present to you… The astral clone.”

Yasaka blinked once, twice, and then she started to laugh, making Naruto pout.

“You have a horrible naming taste.”

Stolen story; please report.

“No, I do not.”

“So, what can this new clone do?” Yasaka asked, amused, completely ignoring Naruto’s pout. But Naruto was not the type to let it go like this. So he kissed her neck in retaliation, which made Yasaka giggle. He gave a few more kisses before he was satisfied.

“It is not perfect yet, but what makes the astral clone stand out is that this clone can communicate with us telepathically whenever it wants to.” Yasaka turned her head toward him, surprised, “Yes, meaning I can send an astral clone to do the tedious tasks, and if something important pops up, he can send me the memories to me immediately without dispelling himself. Plus if he requires assistance, he can create a mental link with me and then we can converse telepathically. But here is the kicker, if let’s say things go bad, I can reverse summon myself to him. In addition, they are sturdier than the blood clones and as expressive as the shadow clones.” Naruto turned to meet his wife’s gaze, “So what do you think?”

“This is great, Naruto. It is a wonderful jutsu.”

Naruto chuckled and kissed Yasaka’s nose, “You still have not figured it out. When the jutsu is complete, we can use it to do our daily mundane and irrelevant tasks. Heck, we can also use it to reduce others’ works as well as ours.”

“We?”

“After I complete it and run it through some vigorous testing, I will teach you, August, and Jiraiya. Think about it, a tremendous amount of workload will be taken off our shoulders. That also means we can spend our time more freely and if needed we can take some extra responsibilities.” He kissed Yasaka again seeing she was going to protest, “I know love~ this does not mean that we will send our clones to meet dignitaries or similar situations like that.”

Yasaka released a defeated sigh, “If you think this is for the best.”

“Of course, this is for the best. Do you really want to spend hours behind a desk going through documents which had been revised and checked by our trusted people? Only for that 0.1 percent possibility that maybe they missed something? Or to join those tons of meetings or functions as a courtesy where most of the time you just listen and make very meaningless small talk? Or those fancy parades which go for hours where all you do is just smile and wave?”

Naruto paused. It seemed he even had some pent-up frustration regarding their current situation. Yasaka giggled, “I get it, I can perfectly see how useful this jutsu is.”

“Thank you,” Naruto grinned, “So after this jutsu is completed and you learn it, then we are going for a long vacation.”

“Naruto!”

Naruto tightened his hold on her, “Sorry my love, you have no say in this. I have already talked with Jiraiya and August.”

Yasaka tugged his hands. When he loosened his hold, she turned around, her legs on his side, straddling him, “My love, I know you want to take a break. But now is not the time. We are the leaders of our Kingdom and the alliance, we cannot neglect our duties.”

Naruto grinned, “But we will not be able to focus on our duties when it will matter if we are dried up.”

Yasaka sighed, “We have to be role models for others, what would they think if they work while we are on vacation.”

Naruto put his chin on top of her chest, “Don’t you think they will be more inspired to see that we are relying on them and trusting them so much?”

Yasaka let out a long-suffering sigh, “You are not going to budge on this.”

Naruto gave her a cheeky smile, “I already have a perfect plan for our vacation.”

There was a tense silence for a whole minute before Yasaka finally closed her eyes in defeat, “So, let me hear your perfect plan.”

Naruto’s smile reached his ears as he kissed his wife passionately. He kissed her for straight two minutes before he was satisfied. Then he picked Yasaka up, who had a small blush on her face, and slowly put her down on the seat. He gave another small peck, “Did I tell you how much I love you?” Seeing her face flushing again was enough for Naruto, “Alright, no interruptions at the beginning. The plan may sound like a retarded one, but you have to listen till the end. So, what is my perfect plan for our vacation?” Naruto snapped his fingers and the wind started creating the sound of drumrolls. He waited for ten seconds to create suspense before he stopped it, “It is to sneak into Elemental Academy disguised as students.”

Yasaka blinked, opened her mouth, and closed it. She repeated the process a few times. Naruto put his hands up, “I know it sounds… stupid. But let me explain. This is not just a simple vacation where we will do absolutely nothing. With this, we can kill three birds with one stone. First, as students, we can be a role model for the younger generation. We will not manipulate them in any way or shape but we can do our best to inspire them to be better as well, in a positive way of course. Also, we can keep an eye from the inside to make sure no one is doing anything stupid. Sounds legit, right?”

Yasaka opened her mouth again but did not say anything. With another defeated sigh, she just motioned for him to continue.

“The second point is that we can use this as an excuse to make everyone slow down. For the last two months, after the core stone revelation, everyone is working overtime. It feels like everyone is walking on eggshells. Everyone is waiting for something to go wrong. This is not right. It is not why I created this Alliance. So, we will go on vacation and then I will make sure Jiraiya, August, and Lady Amaterasu slow down on their work as well. Right now, our forces are everywhere trying to cover everything at the same time. It should not be like this. I admit that I am happy and proud that everyone is doing their best and going beyond to make sure everything is going smoothly. But no one can continue this day and night for a long period of time. They will run themselves ragged. And we do not want that. So I will force everyone to take short breaks, and long ones if necessary, which will make them start prioritizing. Think about this as a test for everyone to improve their time management and task-organizing skills. Most of all it is to teach my people to say ‘No’. If you do not have time, you do not have the capability, then just say no to the work. We have plenty of people who will be glad to take over.” Naruto looked at Yasaka and leaned toward her, there was a slight annoyance in his gaze, “After all, to me, my family and my people come first and foremost.”

Yasaka blushed again and turned her gaze away, “That, surprisingly, makes sense.”

Naruto stepped back, giving his winning grin, “Right~ I told you I got this planned out.”

Yasaka slowly nodded her head, her voice genuinely curious, “So what is the third point?”

“We will use this free time to give Kunou a baby brother.”

Yasaka blinked. Naruto clearly saw that it took a few seconds for her to fully process what he just said. Naruto fought hard to keep his face straight, “This never gets old.”

As she fully digested his words, she blushed furiously, “W-What?!”

Naruto came close and put his hands on her side, trapping her, “We can enjoy our time at Elemental Academy and handle our responsibilities from there. It will be a few weeks to a month. If necessary, we may need to stay there for a few months. Trust me when I say this Yasaka, our positions will never allow us to have a proper break unless we create one for ourselves.”

Naruto could see that she was almost breaking, one more push, “Don’t you think it is time we have our second child?”

And she was down. Her face sported a heavy blush as she leaned forward and hid her face on his chest, “I can never win against you.”

Giving a mischievous smile, Naruto squeezed his wife, “And there are times I cannot win against you. We are just too perfect for each other.”

They stayed in this comfortable silence for some time. Unfortunately, it had been a while since Naruto got any action. So, thinking that since Yasaka had let her guard down, he could take this up a bit further. And so, gently but very subtly his hands started going downwards.

“Naruto.”

“Fuck!”

Naruto broke the hug and started rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. He gave a pout and tried to look dejected, “You can’t blame me for trying, love. Recently I felt so unloved. All we do is work and don’t spend any time together.”

Yasaka crossed her arms, making her already large chest stand out more, “Since it is decided that we are going on a vacation, do you not think we should focus more on finishing up the work we have on our hands. The faster we are done, the sooner we can go for our vacation.”

Well, she had a point and it looked like she completely had her guard up. Naruto turned his head to the side and clicked his tongue.

Yasaka shook her head and pushed him so that she could get up. Once on her feet, she started adjusting the collar of his coat. She gave him a peck on the lips, “I am looking forward to the vacation. So let’s do our best so we can finally take a breath.” After adjusting his coat, she lightly patted him on the chest, “And I can tell that the plans for the vacation are not finalized. Same for the other objectives. So, let’s do our best, yes?”

Naruto sighed, “See, now I cannot win against you.”

Yasaka grinned and gave him another peck, “As you said, we are too perfect for each other.” With that she turned to head inside their room, “And do not worry too much, I will take a rest now. Only after I feel that I have completely recovered, I will start picking up where I have left off. But even then I will prioritize the important tasks only.”

Naruto let out a satisfied smile. Seeing that, Yasaka just shook her head in resignation and closed the balcony doors. The moment she closed it, Naruto let out a silent scream. He did a quick victory dance and then teleported to where he knew Jiraiya was.

The hot spring of course,

“BOO!”

“Son of a…”

“Kya~” Shouts of women screaming rang out and at the same time multiple women started sending different kinds of magical attacks at them. Naruto teleported out to a safe distance but Jiraiya had to run there. It was not that Jiraiya did not know how to teleport it was just that he was not allowed to. Inside the capital of the Kingdom, there were a lot of restrictions based on the area. But almost all the areas had strict rules on any spells or jutsu related to teleportation. Even those who could use teleportation freely, they had to use a specific type and had to have a proper reason for it. It was done to monitor all the movements. And everyone had to follow the rules, no matter who they were. The only exemption was Naruto. It was not that he was the King but it was because he came up with so many ways to teleport without actually teleporting to mess with the security team that they just gave up and gave him a free pass.

Naruto smirked when he saw a pouting but unharmed Jiraiya coming toward him. Of course, those ladies would not be able to catch him, after all the ero-sage had two lives worth of experience.

“Brat! Did you really have to do it? I almost made a masterpiece!” Jiraiya shoved his art book in front of his face.

“Is that Michelle?” Naruto blinked.

It was a drawing of Michelle, Jiraiya’s third wife. The nun who fell head over heels for Jiraiya. In the drawing, she was standing in the middle of a hot spring. Her face was tilted upwards but her eyes were closed. She was naked but from the perspective of the drawing, her privates were completely covered. She was giving off a mysterious but gentle vibe. There was nothing direct sexual about the drawing. Yet, somehow it looked quite… sensual. There were other ladies there as well but they were drawn as the background.

Naruto had to admit, albeit reluctantly, it was a really good drawing, “Won’t she be angry that you are taking a peek at her like this… again?”

There was a reason Naruto called Jiraiya ‘The Eternal Pervy Sage’. He never stopped publishing his Icha Icha series but this time he went one step further. He started adding illustrations. He personally would draw each of the illustrations. Unlike Sai, he could bring out the emotions of the subjects of his drawings, in a very subtle and artistic way. And after he added his drawings, his books sold like never before.

But, after his marriages, the stopped writing the Icha Icha series personally. He created a company where he hired other writers and artists to do it for him. He also stopped doing the so-called research. But like Naruto, who was a prankster at heart, Jiraiya was a pervert to his core. So the target of his perversion became his wives. He would stalk his wives from time to time to catch them off-guard. He would do that to get his inspiration for drawing. Of course, he would not share those drawings with everyone. But still, none of his wives were too happy about his new obsession. And one could easily tell what would happen to Jiraiya if he were to get caught in the act.

“Brat! I want her to be angry at me. Don’t you get that, you knucklehead! She would have scolded me and would have gotten furious. And when she would be done venting, I would have presented her with this along with a poem. And I would have created a romantic atmosphere to take it up a notch. What do you think would happen afterword? Huh?!” Jiraiya was literally on his face. It seemed that Naruto unknowingly cockblocked him, big time.

“So that is why none of them are ever angry enough to stop Jiraiya permanently, he uses this to get laid. Maybe I should ask what else can he away with because of his drawings,” Naruto smiled sheepishly, “My bad?”

For a second Naruto seriously thought Jiraiya was going to strangle him. But instead, Jiraiya just let out a frustrated breath. He looked up, muttered something, and then looked back at him, “What do you want? I thought you were going to see Yasaka.”

Naruto grinned and stood a little straighter, “She said yes to my vacation plan.”

“What?” Jiraiya blinked once and then he furrowed his eyebrows, “She said yes?”

Naruto’s grin just got wider. If Naruto was being honest with himself, this idea was something he came upon the spur of the moment. And he did not think of this as a grand solution as he made it sound to Yasaka. He came up with this idea when he saw how fun and exciting the academy life was going to be. Maybe he was being a bit selfish but he wanted to experience that as well with Yasaka. Well, he told Jiraiya first as usual. The ero-sage agreed that the idea had merits but he thought that for sure Yasaka wouldn’t agree.

Turned out, he was wrong.

“Well, if she agreed to it then it is all good,” Jiraiya put his art book inside his coat pocket, “I don’t need to know the details. So, only he is left.” Jiraiya sighed, and Naruto knew what was coming, “I still don’t think it is a good idea to include him in your plan, you know.”

“Come on,” Naruto groaned and started rubbing his forehead, “Not you too.”

“Brat!” Jiraiya scowled, “I don’t have a problem with him being one of the ex-top ten rankers, nor do I have a problem with him being the strongest Norse God. He is a good and genuine being, you don’t have to tell me that. But he is not like us. He doesn’t know the first thing about subtlety and flexibility. He will blow his cover before you can say ‘Believe it’.”

Naruto pouted, “He is not that bad.”

“Look, I am going to explain to you in a very simple way what’s going to happen. On his first day in the academy, we would be lucky if he could make it to the second day, he would break his cover over something very simple and insignificant. Everyone will go batshit crazy and point fingers at him. Then you will step up to save him, like the idiotic noble person you are. Then everyone will go super batshit crazy and all hell will break loose. Do you get the picture?” Jiraiya's voice was soft as if he was explaining to a thirteen-year-old rookie Genin.

“You know what,” Naruto smiled, one that made Jiraiya go into full guard more, “You are right.”

“Brat, what are you planning now?!”

“I can see your point,” The mischievous grin of his widened and his eyes were now sparkling like crazy, “But, other factions cannot point fingers if they are involved as well.”

“W-What?!”

“You heard me. I will reach out to each faction, well most of the factions, and convince someone from the very higher-up to join me in this crazy journey.” Naruto’s grin turned outright devilish now and he started laughing like a madman, “Oh~ The possibilities and fun I am going to have with this.”

Naruto didn’t wait for Jiraiya to reply, not that he could. He was stunned to the point he was openly gaping at him. Naruto turned around and pointed at the sky,

“I have decided. The first person that I am going convince is Shiva!”

“ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!!!”
