“Major Seolfur, it’s time to make your report to the Lady.” A soldier clad in blue told him. Seolfur had been recovering for a month after the battle with the Greens. He lost his second in command and his strongest force, but they gained The King's Spear Rhongomyniad. Durandal was taken from his possession with the Spear upon his return. His eye was unrepairable, and he had a large stomach scar. He was still wounded but knew he couldn't go against the Ladies wishes. “D’arc. Help me up would you.” D’arc eagerly helped him up, in fact, he still couldn't walk so she propped him against her and slung an arm around his chest to help him walk.
“Where are we going?” she asked the soldier. “The royal sitting room. She wishes to have tea while you give the report.'' The soldier opened the door and Seolfur and D’arc made their way to her sitting room. It was slow going, but they made it in thirty minutes. Two elite soldiers flanked the door. They recognized Seolfur and allowed him and D’arc entry.
They walked through and entered her Ladyship Demelza Blossom Monmouth the Fifteenth sitting room. She sat in a blue dress accented with gold, a pure white corset, and a ruby diadem on her forehead. Her blond hair was neatly straight, and her red lips shined like the ruby. “My Lady, I must apologize for my appearance. Had I known you were going to summon me today I would have changed into something more pleasing to your eyes.” Seolfur told her. Using D’arc to bow in front of her they remained standing.
“It is all right, dear Seolfur. You have been through a lot. I can hardly blame you for your appearance. Have a seat and I’ll have tea brought out.” D’arc lowered him down and remained standing beside him. Lady Demelza examined Seolfur. She once considered him quite handsome, but the scar marred his face and she found herself captivated by him now. Her butler brought out the tea and one of her Generals arrived.

“I am sorry for my lateness, my lady. I have just arrived and found the summons waiting.” he panted while bowing. “It’s quite alright General. It’s good you got here when you did. Major Seolfur was about to give me his report.” she motioned for one of her servants to give him a cup. Seolfur took it and began his report.
He recounted the attack on his troops, how he evacuated the villagers and the fight with the Green Leader. He told them of the loss of his second and how they retrieved The Kings Spear.
“We annihilated the Greens with minimal losses until the fight with their Leader. Rhongomyniad was far more powerful than anticipated.” Seolfur bowed his head. “I must apologize for my failure.”
“It is quite all right Major. We gained another Armament, that made the trip worthwhile. Please stay here until you are fit for combat again.” Lady Demelza requested. Seolfur lifted his head. “As you wish my Lady. I shall remain until I am fit to fight in your service once again.” he bowed again. Smiling Lady Demelza said, “You are dismissed Seolfur.” D’arc lifted him up and they walked out.
As D’arc and Seolfur left, Demelza stared at Seolfur. When the door had closed she sighed. “Tell me, General. What do you think of the Major?” she looked at him with eyes that chilled the General.
“He’s quite a capable fighter. He’s incredibly durable as well. He only lost an eye with that certain kill shot. It should have blasted his head clean open, or at least put a hole in him, not just a surface wound. It’s inhum-” he was cut off by Demelza’s hand. He lowered his head. “Apologies my lady.” he murmured.
“You came with the report like I asked. Read it.” The General pulled a report from his cloak. “The Yellow’s are moving slowly along their own land. They secured their border and are remaining neutral until Clarent is retrieved. The Reds are still trying to convince the Yellows to join with them, but it’s on deaf ears. The Greens have sent an apology due to the conflict Seolfur was in. The leader of that band went rogue and wanted Durandal for himself. However, they did reject the treaty, saying it was not in their national interests.”
