"Mom, Dad, Emily I'm home."

"Jin where are you?" asked Emily.

Emily is in the living room.

"Emily! Sorry, I was at Mike's house, I slept there last night, I forgot to call, it was a last-minute decision and it was late, so I thought I would explain it all today."

"You are lying Jin I saw Mike at school today and when I asked him where you were he told me he didn't know. Mom and dad don't know that you didn't come home last night because grandma got sick and they are both at the hospital since then. So, the only one that knows that you didn't come home last night is me."

Jin thought, Damn what do I do now?

"If you are thinking of telling me another lie, don't try it because I will know. So, if you don't tell me the truth, I will tell mom and dad."

Suddenly the window broke and four guys with black ninja uniforms and masks got in.

"What is this, who are you people?" Asked Jin.

"Jin, who are they?"

"We are sent here from Sano Ryouji. We came here to kill you, Jin," said one of them.

"What? Why do you want to kill my brother?"

"Emily, stay back, I will handle them."

"How will you fight them?! There are four and they have swords!"

"Don't worry I can handle them. So, guys let's do this."

"Get him!"

Two of the ninjas attack Jin simultaneously with their swords. Jin doesn't try to dodge, he knows that if he dodges, Emily might get attacked by them. He has to win no matter what, for his sister's sake. He catches both swords from the blade, not a single drop of blood spilled, his Yoroi is strong. A normal person would have had his hands chopped off by doing what he did, but Jin wasn't normal, not anymore. But as he holds their swords the other two come from behind and as their swords are heading straight towards his body he vanishes and instead of him, they stab the other two ninjas. Jin isn't even breathing hard. He used his Sokudo and Yoroi, but he is completely unaffected by the strain they put on the body. He has come far.

"What?! How?!" asked one of the two left standing.

"You look surprised, you thought I was waiting here for you guys to come and kill me doing nothing?"

"We weren't expecting this, we didn't have enough information about our opponent. Let's retreat for now."

The two ninjas left carrying the other two who were almost dead.

Jin ran towards Emily.

"Emily, are you okay?"

"Jin who were they?"

She was shaking, this was too much for a 16-year-old girl.

Jin hugged Emily.

"Don't worry, everything is going to be okay I won't let anything happen to you or mom and dad. I will tell you the truth now."

After Emily calmed down Jin began telling her everything, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. After Jin finished she said "I understand, this must have been awfully hard for you to keep it a secret Jin. But Jin you should know this... We may not have the same father and mother, but you are still my brother and I will always love you."

"Thanks, Emily, I see you as my sister too, the same goes for Max and Sophia they will always be my father and mother and I will not let anything happen to any of you."

"So Jin, what do we do now?"

"We call Reizo."

"He is your teacher, right?"

"Yes, I am sure he will know who they were and what to do."

"Jin called Reizo and told him everything. Reizo said he was coming to their home. After a while, Reizo was at the front door. He knocks on the door."

"The door, it must be Reizo, wait here Emily."

Jin opens the door.

"Reizo, finally. Tell me what to do, the window is broken, and the living room is a mess."

"Do not worry, I can fix this."

Reizo goes to the living room where Emily is.

"Hi, Emily. I am Reizo, Jin told you about me, didn't he?"

"Yes, he told me. Thanks for looking after my brother."

"No problem," said Reizo smiling.

Well, let's fix this mess. Reizo lifts his hands towards the living room and says "Time Reversion" a blue light came out of his palms and suddenly the living room is back to the way it was before the attack. Emily and Jin were surprised.

"How did you do that Reizo?" asked Jin.

"I have the power to control time and so I can revert any unliving thing to the way they were at the time I want."

"Pretty cool," said Jin.

"Yeah it is pretty cool," said Emily.

"Now Jin let us go to the factory you must train, this will not be the last of them."

"Yeah, you are right I must train to master my new power."

"What power did you obtain after you passed the test?" asked Reizo.

"The power to manipulate lightning."

"Great Jin, that is a very strong power," said Reizo.

"Wow, Jin you can really control lightning?"

"I can't control it now but with enough training, I will."

"So Jin, let's go," said Reizo.

"Reizo, let's take Emily with us. She isn't safe here. They may come back."

"Yes, you are right. Alright, Emily, you can come with us."

"This is exciting. I am curious to see where Jin spends his time."

And so, Emily found out the truth about Jin's strange behavior. Whether it is good or bad only time will tell. Today she got a glimpse of the danger they are facing, and it will not be the last time something like this happens.
