Felix was tired.
Not physically tired. More like mentally tired.
After Felix had gotten back home, he had tried to think of ways to learn this phenomenon that he had just experienced. As his mother entered the apartment, he realized how little he knew of his own home, as he had been almost always confined to the playroom.
Felix still had managed to notice one crucial thing as his mother was carrying him back to his playroom. A simple brick-shaped white plate at the center of the family room. He could recall seeing his grandparents doing something with it, but he could not remember.
Perhaps it functioned as a computer?
So after Felix had been laid down to take a nap and his mother - tired from all the walking - went to her room to rest, he had managed to escape the prison of the crib and had crawled over to the white plate.
Felix surveyed it closely. How was he supposed to turn it on?
He tapped it.
It didn’t work.
He tapped it again.
Nada.
He tapped it once more.
The third time was the charm.
The white plate had whirled around and had lit up, displaying a circle that served like a screen.
‘Huh,’ Felix thought, staring at the screen. It really was like a computer.
Now, how was he supposed to search up something?
Just as he thought that, a white interface showed up in front of him, displaying symbols of all sorts.
He looked at it.
‘Wow…’
He couldn’t understand a single symbol.
Now that he thought about it, how could he understand what his family was saying? If this was truly a different world, what were the chances that they spoke English?
Although to Felix they sounded like they spoke English, judging by the panel in front of him, perhaps something was translating what they were saying?
Something like the system?
Rubbing his head, Felix crawled back to his prison. He would need to learn the foreign language, as apparently the system could only translate audible language.
Sigh…
And just when Felix thought his school days were over…

After much searching through the house, Felix had managed to get a hold of something that looked like a dictionary. Although because he couldn't read any of the language in it, he had an idea of what it was as the format was like a dictionary.
If the system truly translated vocal language, then all he had to do was make his mother say some words inside the book. Then he could slowly memorize what words were what.
‘If only I can get this book to my room!’
Felix tugged at the book as hard as he could. Why was it so goddamn heavy?!
After minutes of sweating and pulling, Felix finally managed to drag the book into his room.
‘I’m going to get spine problems at this rate.’ He thought as he gingerly rubbed his aching back.
‘Now just to wait until my mother comes to my room.’ He thought as he stretched out across the book.
And then he promptly fell asleep.

Pinera Elris’s POV
After waking up from my short nap, I got up and went in to check on Felix’s room.
Huh?
For some reason, he wasn't in the crib. He instead was stretched down on the ground, clutching a book as he slept.
Smiling slightly, I went and tried to remove the book from his grasp.
However, just as my fingers were about to reach it, Felix’s bright eyes flashed open.
Staring up at me, he pushed the book towards me.
“Read.”
“...”
Did he just speak?!
Open-mouthed, I touched my child’s forehead to check for sickness. Was it possible for a child this young to speak? Could he be some kind of genius?
“Read,” He said again, staring up at me innocently.
I simply could just stare at him.
Odon, what kind of genetics have you given your child?
Shaking my head, I tried to recover from my shock.
“Sure, I’ll read to you.”
I reached for the book. It was rather thick. Where have I seen this before?
My mouth once again fell open.
Ah.
I stared at the cover.
‘A Guide on How to [BLEEP]’
Aren't babies supposed to be the most innocent of all of us?

Felix was rather disappointed. After all his work on bringing the dictionary to his room, his mother had snatched it away and had instead replaced it with some kind of fairy tale picture book.
‘At least it's a lot lighter,’ he thought, as he listened to his mother tell the story to him.
Hearing his mother tell the story, Felix had decided that the language was rather easy to understand.
There were 30 main runes as he could tell by how many runes were on the interface of the Genesis Plate, with 10 sub-runes that were used to describe the age of someone.
The 30 main runes were about the same as English, building up words. The sub-runes almost reminded him of Japanese honorifics, as it was used to describe the age of certain people.
Felix nestled more comfortably in his mother’s arms.
‘Sigh… now just to learn some new words.’
Hello, studying.
How not nice to see you again.

After a couple of stories, Felix’s mother had gone to prepare dinner.
Felix sat, mulling over the words he had learned. Luckily, it seemed that ‘magic’ was a word in this world, so he could search for that on the Genesis Plate.
He slowly opened the door of his playroom and crawled to the family room.
Crawling over to the familiar white plate, he tapped on it three times.
Considering the runes for a second, Felix tapped out the ones for ‘magic.’
A bunch of site popped out, but the most considerable one was an introduction article called, ‘An Intro to Asar Magic.’
He looked for some familiar words that stood out to him and tried to form a picture on what the article was about.
To summarize, it would seem that Asar Magic was a way to use the elements by sacrificing parts of one's body to the Divines.
It could be blood, or flesh for some of the weaker spells. However, the most powerful ones seemed to draw on one's lifeforce.
And there seemed to be only specific elements one could draw on. Such as the magician from earlier, one could draw on water and fire.
There were still many other elements, but there was almost too much to count.
Felix read the article for a bit, and then shut off the Genesis Plate.
Now, to do Asar Magic.
One would have to be presented with the ‘Stone of the Divine’ to access the magic. It was shown that every year, a trial would take place among the five-year olds. The children with the most potential would be chosen and be granted the permission to touch the Stone.
Hmm…
‘Then I would just have to show them my potential.’ Felix thought.

Omok Elris’s POV
After Pinera had told me how Felix had spoken, I wasn't as shocked as I should have been. After all, his father had not been normal either.
I mean, a Prince at age thirty? That was almost unheard of.
I stepped into the glass realm, hearing the crackle of breaking glass as I entered.
I quickly chose to go to the Monarch’s penthouse, and transported myself there.
“Monarch! We found signs of your son!” I immediately shouted, barging my way into the study.
Hm?
He wasn't here?
The Monarch of Lednia wouldn't be such a careless person to call a close friend to his study and not be here.
Has something happened?
I quickly performed a searching spell, sacrificing a bit of my skin.
After the results came back, I visibly relaxed. He was here, just on the balcony.
Why was he on the balcony though?
I quickly went up, as I pretty much knew this place like the back of my hand.
As I opened the door to it, a wave of trepidation washed over me.
‘What was that about?’ I wondered.
As my eyes adjusted to the dark of the night, I could see the figure of the Monarch standing.
However, someone was right next to him.
The Monarch turned around to face me. There were tears in his eyes and his eyes looked joyous and happy.
As he turned to face me, my attention was drawn to the other person.
Ah.
Looks like he beat me again.
The most noticeable part of him was his dark blonde hair, hair that signified him as part of the Queller’s family.
The person was Odon Elris. The son of the Monarch of Lednia and my daughter's husband
And Felix’s father.
It looks like he has finally come back.
