While waiting for my food, I decided to do the only thing you could reasonably expect from me. Which, if you didn't understand, is playing with my hallucinations! It might not be healthy, but if someone expects me to deal with sitting in a room with nothing to do and be okay with it, well, they are just dumb. As such, I do the first thing that comes to mind, yelling, "Status!"
Name: Simon Brook Race: Sapient Thrall Class: paper pusher Title: blank blank hp 1/3 sp 2/3 mp 3/3 Stats: locked until level 1 Skills: locked until level 1 Achievements Status Blood drained -20% stats
"Well, I am missing a lot of blood, but who is Giure Grand, and why is he watching me? Also, why is everything locked till level 1? Not fair! I should be a level 100 WarWizzard!"
Processing Request has been deemed unreasonable.
"Oh, be quiet. The only unreasonable thing here is that I need to be level one to unlock my stats! How can I level up when I don't have stats?"
Tip As a paper pusher, you gain XP more efficiently by doing paperwork, but any form of work can generate XP. You may also gain XP helping your vampiric master, a special privilege given to the thrall race. As a result of First Thrall, you also gain a small portion of the XP your vampiric master generates. Your race also generates XP for serving your master.
"That is way too much. How about you just give me some slimes to kill? Then give me enough XP to become a WarWizzard when I kill them!"
Tip You would not gain the Warwizzard class no matter how much XP you have. Your class evolutions are generated based on your actions, and system page.
"That's so dumb! Are there no quests you can give me, at least? Something to do?"
Processing Request is reasonable
Achievement System Quester, you gave the newborn system the idea of quests. Quest rewards have a 10% increased value.
Quest Description Reward Finding master As a loyal and lonely thrall, it is your job to find the vampire you serve. The only hint so far is their distinct red hair, good luck! You will gain 10 XP and a pair of ratty old pants(think of the children!)
"Why does it feel like you are insulting me? I'm wearing a hospital gown in a hospital! I don't have a say in the matter."

Hearing a knocking on the door, I respond, "Come in." as I dismiss the boxes. Looking up at the opening door, I see a red-haired, ten year-ish old girl walking into the room. Before anything else happens, a blue box pops into view.
Dismissing the windows without reading them, I look at the girl standing before me, arms crossed and head up high. "Can I help you? Are you Lost?"
"I, as your master, have come to save you from your imprisonment! Let's go!" before grabbing me in a backwards fireman carry and running out the door.
"Hey, wait, what imprisonment? How are you carrying me? I'm at least three times your weight! Please put me down!" And so I went being ignored, struggling but unable to escape the girl running at terrifying speeds and watching all the staff behind me shouting at her to let me go.
Eventually, I found myself in a nearby alleyway with a monstrously strong and fast girl, the same girl that kidnapped me not too long ago, listening to the sirens driving by.
"What in the world are you doing?! Return me to the hospital! I'm still low on blood! This situation can't be healthy right now!"
"You are a loud thrall. Your blood is fine. It fixed itself as a courtesy for your first level-up. Congratulations!"
"My first- wait, that was all real?! I thought I was being delusional and, wait. You are a vampire?!" I say as I start desperately thrashing around, trying to escape again.
"We can talk about it later. For now, be quiet while we find a place to hide!" She said, hitting me lightly on the head until I became calm again. "actually, do you know anywhere we can stay for the night?"
"You could try my apartment," I mumble out, "but there might be people there investigating the attack or something."
"What attack?"
"The one where you almost killed me, and I became your thrall," I state while giving her the best done-with-life look I could while hanging over her shoulder, crying.
"Don't be a crybaby! I didn't attack you! All I did was drink a bit too much blood." Looking like she believed herself, she continued. "Plus, now you get to be my thrall, be grateful you get such a benevolent master!"
"Thank you, my oh-so-benevolent master, for kidnapping me," I say, still crying. "Now, can you put me down, please?"
"You are welcome! And only when we get somewhere to hide, somewhere without people like the ones at your apartment?"
"You could hide in the nearby school. It doesn't provide on-campus summer school, so it sho-" I start screaming again as I'm suddenly moving faster than a bullet train as the girl jumps onto a nearby roof and starts running.
"Be quiet! Also, which way is it?" Hitting me on the head again till I stop screaming.
"I don't even know where we are, but it's close to my apartment! Two blocks north!"
"Right, what's North?" Does she finally stop running, as she asks?
"What? It's, um, the left side of the building from the street facing the entrance?" before screaming as she instantly speeds up again.
