"The gods are not your allies, foolish man... In time, you will see. My vision can only grant you so much clarity" -Videth
"To whom do I owe this displeasure? Ah. It's you, Haven."
"Nether." the snow-white haired being spat, icy blue eyes narrowing with distrust at his black haired sibling with piercing red eyes filled with mirth and mischief. "I cannot say I am pleased to see you myself," standing up from his gold decorated celestial throne, the human lookalike being crossed it's arms and stared at the corrupt face of his sibling, scowling slightly in disgust at the sickly pale skin tone, the dark grey veins that protruded from his darker counterpart's skin and the glowing red eyes. "But matters of upmost importance have warranted this summoning, as much as your foul presence is unwelcome."
"How very hurtful, Haven. Now where is that sedentary lazy sack? Limbo? Come out! Play with your siblings!" Nether smirked, closing his eyes and sharpening his senses before chuckling and looking behind him once he felt it. The one being he actually missed. "There you are!"
"Why do you summon me? I have the existential crisis of the mortally challenged to attend to." the short, grey haired man-elf being drawled. Bored golden eyes stared into the shiny and amused red ones for a moment before locking with icy blue ones. Then back at the red ones. ". . .Oh no. What vile plans have you two concocted now?" the female god's face twitced with irritation. "I have enough souls to release or damn as it is! Have you forgotten what happened the last time one of your "divine interventions" have been cast?!"
Nether laughed wholeheartedly, drooping an arm over the shorter one's shoulder, his large, pointed ears twitching with mischief and his eyes twinkling. "Come now, I thought you would be pleased! There is nothing like playing god with mortals and crushing all their dreams with the flick of a finger!"
"I was hoping to avoid burdening Limbo. He has nothing to do with what is necessary." Haven rubbed his temples. "Direct divine intervention as a mean to lower the population that disrupts the balance would be..."
"Boring." Nether smiled softly, pushing Limbo away before approaching his other sibling. "Oh, dearest sibling, are you growing bored again?" he whispered softly, his pale hands reaching out to clasp over the taller's hand, only to pout and huff when his was slapped away harshly.
"Do not put words in my mouth!" Haven growled. "Limbo is right. It is far too unpredictable to weed out the population with direct influence... we need.. advocates. You need advocates." as soon as thosw words left Haven's mouth, Limbo stared at them both wide-eyed in horror and disbelief.

"No. No - no. Do not bestow this decision to Nether of all beings! You know what he's like! Somehow, and in some way- he will find a loophole and abuse it for his own amusement! Innocent souls will be enslaved unjustly!"
"There. Limbo will be in charge of the souls of the mortals once their physical form is dead. He volunteered!" Nether grinned, closing his eyes and giggling like the madman that he is. "I did no such thing, you manipulative swine! Enough with your word games!" she demanded, raising her hand to slap Nether across the face.
"NO, DON'T!" Haven lunged forwards, wrapping his arms around his sibling sister. "We are gods - if we harm each other, the lands below us will suffer because of the pact! You fool!"
". . .Bastard." she huffed, glaring at Nether who was cackling at the two of them before she forced her way out of Haven's grasp.
"Oh come on, Haven! I can't remember the last time we witnessed the mortal realm get spanked by a comet or two. You are so boring." with the flick of his wrist, he moved away the clouds that obscured their view on their continent of interest. Chuckling, he turned his back to his siblings and spread his arms sideways in a dramatic manner. "Look at all these mortals! And I get to send my loyal advocate of chaos to toy with them! Ah, The Witch King will be pleased.. where should I start... It would probably be a good choice if he recruited a few followers of the dark gods himself. What fun is ruination if not done by mutually assured slaughter?"
"That look in his eyes... he is planning something truly sinister, brother. I strongly doubt it will be anything that will be done in a restrained manner." Limbo muttered, approaching her taller brother's side and narrowing her eyes warily at Nether who was smiling fondly as he gazed down at the mortal realms below them. "It is probably best we gather our powers for future use as a precaution-"
"No." Haven decreed firmly. "We would have to use them. And the pact we forged is not worth the risk, Nether is well aware of that, for the consequences can and will be dire."
"There are other continents we can simply cast the powers aside on-"
"I will not trade one innocent life for another!" Haven shouted, icy blue eyes glowing fiercetly at his younger sibling. "And you best remember this the next time you think of asking something as absurd as that. For all your justice and morals, you can be just as vile as him at times."
"How dare you? For all your wisdom and benevolence, you sure are blinded to the depths of depravity this may sink the world and us in! What if he somehow.. succeeds in his vile scheme that has nothing to do with upholding our bargains?! Countless undeserving, innocent lives will perish because you were too arrogant and prideful to admit that maybe there is a way around all of this?!"
"Silence!" Haven hissed, warning in his voice. As he calmed down, he fiddled with the locks of his pure white hair in thought. "He will not. It is far too dangerous. And as reckless, blood-crazed, sadistic and as much of a gambler as Nether is.. he will not risk his own existence over some "fun times"." he stated simply, though with an undertone of finality to his words.
". . .I truly hope you are right, brother. You have authority over me, alas. But," Limbo stepped in front of him, staring blankly at him with her dulled golden eyes. "If anything goes wrong... Do bare in mind that it will be you who will be responsible for all the souls you have doomed."
