“eh..”

She had a confused expression on her face as she continued to watch the lady in the middle. She seemed so far away, and so fragile, it was painful not being able to get up and comfort her. She just, looked so sensitive yet poisonous, it was as if eloria couldn’t tell whether she was deadly or sweet pure. The lady reached her hand high up, as if she were trying to catch something when she stopped. her hand high up, she froze and after a few moments of silence, she let her hand down.

“say eloria, whats the point of all this…?”

The lady was talking to eloria in her mind as she turned back to look eloria right into her eyes. Those lifeless, yet so full of emotions, sweet but acidic eyes that were staring right into eloria’s eyes. Her face was still buried in her hair, but eloria could tell the pain she was in. her eyes alone clearly expressed that this lady had suffered so much to the point where it had become nothing. Being just a pure soul, she gathered her energy and stood up, hugging the lady tightly.

“I have nothing to say to her…all I can do is comfort her with this, afterall….i was never the best person in terms of emotions….”

Eloria’s mind went blank.

“wait, what?”

Her mind went blank as an empty page as a memory flashed in her mind, which she was sure of wasn’t hers. But strange enough, she herself was in the memory. It was a memory she possibly couldn’t recall as she was sure that it wasn’t even real. Suddenly, she found herself in a town, which appeared to be burning as she found someone crying infront of her. It was a small kid who was hugging his knees while sobbing loudly. The town seemed unfamiliar but had a lingering scent of warmth, and the boy’s hair colour reminded her of someone familiar.

“could it really be…brother..?”

The coal black hair, shined in the bright fire brighter then sun, as she stuttered

“Xilver…?”

The boy’s weeping stopped as he heard his name and looked up, making contact with eloria’s emerald eyes. His expression turned from sadness to relief and happiness as he rushed over to hug eloria. Xilver was just a kid yet his body felt bigger, and it was then when she realized eloria herself was a child. Seeing her calm and gentle brother crying so deeply, it moved her to tears too as she hugged back without any words. As soon as she did, she felt Xilver tighten his grip on her, hugging her protectively. He started to sniffle and sob again and eloria being silent and speechless, patted his back with her small hands.

-

That was the end of the memory as she flinched after coming back to reality and found herself still embracing the lady. The lady stopped moving and looked at eloria, with a warm smile on her face, putting her index finger on her lips

“you’ve always been there, so never think of yourself as a nuisance ever again. Ill be beside you whenever you feel that way, so remember this oart of me, please.”

With that, the wind blowed strongly yet gently, making her hair dance away revealing her face, making eloria widened her eyes. It was a lady, with the same face as her, with her face masked with her veins black which could be seen through her skin and black roses surrounding her eyes. As tears rolled down eloria’s cheeks, she smiled so brightly and vanished. Eloria looked around yelling to come back, with herself getting worked up and tearing up. She yelled and yelled, until she had no more energy and got on her knees as she looked down. Her tears fell on the ground as she thought

“please, please come back…this isn’t how…why..”

Everything around her started to vanish as the black spider lilies shattered and turned to dust, and eloria woke up from her long lasting dream.

“eloria?”

She heard her brother’s voice as the door opened and xilver entered her room, then froze. His face darkened in fear as he stared at eloria, who had her head bleeding and her half face the same as the lady in her dreams. Her left eye was surrounded by small black roses, and her veins beneath her eyes were black. She was bleeding from her right and soon her vision went blurry, making everything around her black.
