“Now is the era where we finally gain the achievement of future. We the researchers proudly announce our latest invention ‘The Dream Reality Project’ with this, people can now stay connected with their cherished persons mind and of course it isn’t possible without the other side’s consent. But that’s not the biggest use. With this, new inventions can finally be made and the era will go to a different way, a better way.”

(It was then, when the changes started happening. They were right when they said it is not the only use. And they were wrong about one thing; the era didn’t go the better way.)

26 August, 2150

“Our reporters have confirmed it. The Persian Government have developed an upgraded version of The Dream Reality Project and named it ‘Proniknoveniye’ which literally means infiltration. It is a huge disadvantage for the researchers of Drachnian Government. This could possibly mean a challenge for us.”

(The first step of change: competition, The Persian Government developing Infiltration was a direct challenge to our government by indicating that they can directly look into our minds. The Drachnian Government was of course not quiet.)

13 December, 2150

“The Drachnian Government revealed vital information about The Persian Government which include collusion with the banished country ‘Vernia’ and they have hands in the bombing incidents that happened in early 2149. They also gave a speech saying that even though the Persian Government has discovered a way how to infiltrate, But they weren’t able to. But The Drachnian are.”

(This was the start of a 1 year political warfare between Persian and Drachnian government. It resulted in the victory of the Drachma Country. It happened because the UN came to know of the Persians’ collusion with the banished country. So they helped the The Drachnian Country to weaken the Persian Governments standing)

14 January, 2151

“An anonymous individual has successfully figured out the work of the ‘Dream Reality Project’ and posted it on the internet for the people to seem, but the government was unable to take it down. The work he posted is given below:

{{Every person has their own emotions and thinking which just like a radio, is spread on a simple, yet diverse wave length. Diverse because every person’s wave length is different, it depends on their emotions, beliefs, personality and so. But if someone figures their personality out and observe them for long they can figure out the wave length through the dream reality machine. They can also ‘infiltrate’ the targets mind. They can also kill by sending the target in brain dead state. They can also send the targets mind into coma state using this ‘friendly’ device. More than dream coming true, this is a nightmare to many or an opportunity to many. Consider this the introduction of where we ‘The Extraction’ come in. The governments can use this to do unjust things, but we will use it bring justice to at least ourselves, because we aren’t heroes. We are the common people who want to change the era for a better one, this time a real ‘better one’. And this should not be called the Dream Reality but Mental Access.}}

“It has been exactly a year since the post incident occurred. After this incident many officials have gone mad, gone to coma, died and some are still living using respiratory system” (Teacher)

“Teacher can we use this machine?” (Student #1)

“No. A dangerous device like this, now the government has also forbidden its use for normal citizens. Though now the police use it. If you join the police you may use it, but only for apprehending criminals.” (Teacher)

“Than what about ‘The Extraction’? What happened to them?” (Arisuin Kyouma)

“You’re the new transfer student right? Those criminals weren’t caught till now. But they will soon be jailed by the police. So don’t worry.” (Teacher)

“They are getting rid of corrupted politicians, right? So what’s wrong with that?” (Kyouma)

“You are already 16 years old. I don’t need to teach you what’s right or what’s wrong. Killing is wrong no matter what the reason is.”

After this Kyouma went quite and sat in his desk.

P.O.V Change

Bullshit. What’s wrong with killing corrupted politicians? They mess up the society and they are the garbage of society. ‘The Extraction’ are no criminals they are the true heroes.

*Ding**Ding**Ding*

“That’s it for this class. Be careful on your way home.” (Teacher)

I pack my bags and start heading towards home. On the way I am stopped by the people who look like bullies.

“So you’re the transfer student. You seem like you are on the side of those terrorists.” (Bully #1)

“We need to teach you what’s right. But we can also let you go if give us, well 200 Dollars. But it’s the first day so we’ll be considerate and lower the amount to 150 dollars. Give it to us and you can be on your way.” (Bully #2)

“Yeah give us the money, brat.” (Bully #3)

So they are trying to intimidate me, huh?

“So you are trying to intimidate me. Don’t underestimate me. I can, I can, I can RuuuuuuUUUuuuuNn!” Saying that I start running. I am quite confident about my speed.

I am close to home. Seems like they have lost me. Hehe. I continue heading towards home.

Huh? Why is the door open? I go in my house. It doesn’t seem to be a break in. I go in and I see mom crying.

“What happened mom? Why are you crying?” I notice dad is not here.

“Mom where is dad? Mom?” Don’t tell me.

“ Mom where is dad?”

“Mom?”

She is not answering. WHY IS SHE NOT ANSWERING!?

“Your…… dad went into coma. I told him to go to police when he found out someone was following him. He just didn’t listen. Now I don’t know if he will live.”

Was it The Extraction? But why? My dad is not corrupted. So why?

“Where is dad now?” I asked solemnly.

“The hospital.” Mom replied but she is not in the state of speaking anymore.

 I have decided. Enough of this. I will find out who did this. Government or The Extraction no matter who it is I will find out. I make a decision and calm mom down.

For now I will continue studying about using the device and try to enter the extraction.

“Is this really the world where dreams come true?” I muttered to myself.
