‘ what is this ring ? who owns it ? did they really kill a dragon ? many questions ‘ the stranger thinks to herself while raising the ring to capture the essence of the violet moon. ‘ it doesn’t help just asking i should go home and rest for the night to be ready to explore this strange room ’. she traverse the forest like wind. she knows every inch of this forest. the elves race are proficient in this kind of environment. after an hour she reached the outskirts of the forest and saw the nearby town and its big stone wall. she walks toward the gate it’s a huge gate that withstood many sieges in the past. she get nearby and see the guard.

“hello Selene, any news about the dragons ? “ the guard said

“hello Ralf, i will report to the guild directly if you want information you can ask there”

“what is better than some little gossip ? you always spoil the fun “

as she stepped inside, the atmosphere of the town embraced her with shops on both sides emitted an inviting light. eager to attract and assert their presence. in this town the concept of sleep is nonexistent

She headed toward one of those small shops, its warm, golden glow and the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked food beckoning her inside. the shop is basically a counter with various kinds of food and an old woman behind the counter and mostly nothing else.

“Hello my child having a good day ? “ the old woman greeted with a warm smile.

“yes thank you for your care can i have the normal ? “ Selene asked

“still not talkative ? no problem i prepare your order ahead of time ” she tell selene while preparing small mana wolf meat.

“i can tell there is something bothering you. you are not usually unfocused like that.” she asked with motherly concern

“i appreciate your concern but i’m fine thank you “ selene said

“okay have it your way but you know my place if you want someone to talk with. and here is your order ” the old woman said with warm smile.

she paid and leave. ‘ what can i tell you ? that i find a dead dragon and a ring next to it can you tell me who owns it ? can you tell me why i’m thinking too much about it ? ‘ she thinks to herself as she heads toward the guild to report of the incident. number of buildings can be viewed from any where in the town as the townhouses don’t exceed three floors. one of those buildings is the guild where a huge number of people go there to put requests for the adventures to do. and as an adventurer myself i have responsibility to do these requests and of course the guild compensate me.

as she approached the guild, its majestic structure rose above all of the surrounding buildings with its emblem as sword crossing with axe appears above the huge doors of the entrance. the building, constructed from limestone, held an air of authority and importance, a hub where destinies converged and legends emerged.

as she steps in, she was greeted with lights of the magic lamps that make the place never knows darkness anywhere. the place divided into three main areas : the reception ,the inn and the boards

she aims for the reception. the place isn’t busy like in the day and that’s one reason she likes night requests.

she waited for maybe five minutes before the clerk serve her.

“i want to report for the dragons affair request commissioned by the guild”

“okay one moment. i’ll tell the guild leader that you arrived” she told Selene while using some kind of magic item to communicate

“okay you can go to the guild leader office to directly report to him. do you know the way ?”

“thank you i know my way”

she went to the staircase and climb it to the third floor where the administration offices exist and particularly to a unique office where the strongest lays, its door adorned with the guild emblem.

she knocked on the door and when she receives the response she opened and enter.

and she was greeted with a very sharp knife to the face but she reflexively draws her sword to block it. but she didn’t anticipate another one coming to her cheek and it hit her and draw a thin line of blood.

“i see you are still sharp but you could use some more training” the guild leader laughed while patting on her back. ‘he wasn’t here until this very moment how can he be so fast ?’ selene thinks to herself.

“ thank you for your feedback and i will try to improve myself ” selene replied coldly

“listen Selene, you should communicate more, talk more, laugh more, train more not only training. anyway what did you see in that mission” he said while going behind his desk

she explained the situation to him.

“interesting. some dragons fighting on the sky and one dead dragon from a spear. and also that room.

who can kill a dragon even i will have a problem with a dragon i sense someone very interesting is behind all of this. okay i will give you another commission. your goal is information. who did that and any information you can get that is related to the another dragon. and before you leave go to the reception to collect your reward“
