Aura Nihil was born on a cold wintery day to a loving mother and father her childhood was filled with happy memories up until the age of 6.

 On the day of her 6th birthday her mother and father brought her back some cake after visiting the doctor apparently her mother had been diagnosed with early onset dementia  her parents were greatly affected by this but despite everything they tried to hide it and make her birthday a happy one.

At age 10 Aura was a very intelligent girl who had trouble communicating with others leading to a lack of friends, her hair which had been white since birth led people to nickname her “Snowball” as a way to tease her.

One day on the way back from school her mother came to pick her up a usual day like any other.

Aura and her mother were about to cross the street when her mother had an attack, she suddenly looked at Aura with a strange look and removed her grip from Aura’s hand, when Aura tried to grab her hand again her mother backed up and slipped off the curb she was killed instantly in front of Aura by a semi-truck.

Something in Aura broke at that moment as it would with any kid around her age her eyes became cold and she stopped showing emotion her father upon finding her tried to stay strong for the sake of his daughter.

Aura was now 13 her father had been doing his best after her mother’s death he occasionally broke down in tears but he always tried to hide it from his daughter.

Aura was waiting for her father to come home one day watching some TV shows and doing some homework when she heard the sound of breaking glass she left the TV running and hid herself under the couch.

Two masked men entered her house and began stealing things that belonged to her family Aura being intelligent stayed quiet for what seemed like hours.

She then heard the sound of a door being kicked down her father had seen the broken window and fearing the worst had charged into the house startling the thief’s one then drew a gun and shot him.

Aura had to watch as her father got shot in the chest almost in slow motion, however that didn’t stop him. Her father grabbed the gun out of the first thief’s hand and shot him in the head, the second thief tried to stab her father but Aura snapped and jumped out from under the couch grabbing the man’s legs

This gave her father enough time to shoot the second thief before collapsing on the floor, Aura quickly crawled over to his side and kept telling her father to: “hold on” police siren’s could be heard in the distance as their neighbors had called the cop’s after hearing the gunshots.

 Her father looked directly into her eyes and barely managed to utter his last words: “I love you so much my daughter, please stay strong when I’m gone.” He then died while being embraced by his weeping daughter right as the police rushed in.

The rest of middle school was hell for Aura everyone avoided her because she exuded an atmosphere of pure cold, everyone around her bullied her constantly.

She would get held and punched almost daily breaking ribs at occasionally getting cut simply because girls felt creeped out by her lack of expression.

Any guy who saw it would just walk away or pretend it didn’t happen teachers felt creeped out by her too and would ignore her.

Her only solace was her grandparents on her father’s side who took her in instantly and cared for her sadly they were too weak to do anything about the bullying and constantly showed her kindness to prevent her from losing heart.

In her senior year of high school no one talked to her and the bullying had stopped as even the bullies began to become scared of her eyes, every time she looked at someone they would freeze up and feel as though they couldn’t move an inch.

Aura would frequently try to explore new places and despite everything that had happened to her she had a goal in mind.

Aura wanted to become a veterinarian because animals enjoyed being around her and she would constantly be swarmed by cute fluffy animals wherever she went her grades were no problem so she pursued it like an arrow.

One day she was following a cute cat near the local supermarket when it suddenly disappeared from her sight this saddened Aura a bit but when she raised her head and looked across the street she found something much more interesting.

A tall muscular person who looked like a high-school senior from her school stood across the street, normally she had no interest in others but this person had an incredibly intimidating atmosphere around him he was even able to make direct eye contact with her and began to move towards her.

At first she was a bit scarred of him but she decided he was someone worth talking too because like herself he was an unusual person, so she patiently waited for him to approach.
