Synopsis
Ataren is a confused boy overwhelmed by the state of his ill mother and the bluntness of his grandmother, who looks after them both. His frustration is reminiscent of the wider population. A world where man lacks what was once his. The Embodiments abandoned the human race over a millennia ago, and for the thousand years that followed, man was reduced to less than the rubble upon which they built their cities.
Thoughts and emotions stripped, all are confined to the whims of their woes, and the sorrows of loss. But when the mysterious and long lost Embodiment Of Good seeks out Ataren - something thought never to happen again - everything changes.
Ataren’s eyes burst into a reality more lucid and real than he thought possible. Good returns to his life, and to the lives of those whose path he crosses. Entire view point shifted, the light of the good shines through him and in him, as he realises what he must do.
With the companionship of the Embodiment Of Good, he departs for the Ancient Lands; home to the Embodiments. He must find the other Embodiments and bring them back to the people. He aims to return the seven Embodiments Of Power:
Wind, Water, Fire, Light, Stone, Earth and Darkness. Hoping to display them to the world and restore wonder and curiosity to their lives, he sets out to find them.
But he does not understand that these Embodiments left mankind for a reason. They are more than content with things remaining the way they are. Convincing them to return, will not be as easy as it seems.
