Facing a dilemma, most of the times, a choice made by a seasoned man tends be correct. As the world says, experience is a immeasurable benefit, one only gets with time.

 But at certain instances experience becomes prejudice and restrains a veteran from seeing the clearer picture. Thus stereotypical thoughts prevail over, the reality one faces.

 Gu Lewis, the Commander of troops, stationed at Fen clan's residential quarters, was such 'experienced' man. Being an instructor at inculcating 'sense of awareness' among juvenile cadets, for nearly two decades, before promoting to the post of Commander, he naturally had dealt with countless dilly-dallying youth's like Gale.

That many that, he was known be as the "tome of discipline" among young troops, for his unshakable schedule and ever so precise exposure of their mentality. 

He had recently been challenged to discipline the youth named "Gale 'Fen' Dongjie" by the former commander of corps, here at Fen clan. 

Now, he often mocks his rash judgement for thinking  "a youth is all about stimulus and I will tame that lazy brat into a "gem of a man within 6 months"

Never before had he been fooled so thoroughly in his life by himself. What stimulus ? which youth?. He wasn't dealing with just a lazy youth here, but the "Epitome of procrastinating desultory."

 The arrival of this intimidating "tome of discipline", at the Fen household, didn't affected the leisured Nobel in the least. Even his rebukes and verbal assaults went straight pass the young man. To the point, where his existence felt like an unnecessary decoration for the rest of the vicinity to the youth.

It was as if, the deviant youth didn't acknowledged him at all. Only when he spoke the name of the "Young Master", did the delusional boy listened to his critique with fear.  Such humiliation was untolerable by Gu.But, he was having trouble comprehending the views of a youth for the first time in his career.

Yet unwilling to submit to his place as an accessory in the routine of the sloucher, he depended on stationed personnel for trying to get some insight about the youth's moral structure.

Unsurprisingly, he heard that there were no morals, ethics, ambitions, pride or even sense of responsibility to begin with in his psychological structure. 

After analysing the youth for more time, he found that the soldiers judgement was dead accurate.

If you remove all fundamentals, What was there to left with, in a normal person?. The answer would be the delusional and sleepy youth, he was facing now. Can such a lethargic way of living be prolonged by a practitioner of dao of Ice ,Of course Not.

He desired to teach this youth the 'lesson of his life', but because of the fact that the youth always stayed confined at home , his own endeavour for winning the bet came to an halt.

On a fated day, finally the 'chance', to show his tested metal in youth reformation, presented itself to him, in the form of a hot blooded youth named, Sio Gen from a rivaling Clan. 

Only by allowing this scornful youth to encroach upon Gale's blissful lifestyle, can Gu lit a hunger for power in his heart. This will be lead to birth of presistence within Gale, and in turn him into a gem of a cultivator.

Being slammed to ground by a young girl's kick, was a truly reprehensible experience for a grown man.

The soldiers were dumbstruck by their commander's agitated accusation. Knowing the truth of the matter, they didn't knew whether to laugh or cry.

"I said answer me!, Why did you hid the fact that the Young master would even go as far as to deprave me to keep Sir Gale confined at home? 

Had I known this, do you think I would have been in this miserable right now?"

The soldiers seemingly nodded among themselves, straightened their backs and replied unanimously in an honorific manner.

"To protect the prestige of Fen clan and save you Sir"

His eyes burned with rage as he disdainfully said

"Saved? Why would I be needed to be saved by you lowlifes? And from whom ? Stop playing politics and answer me honestly, otherwise prepare for lashes. 

Tell me why you hid this pure bond between siblings of Our Fen Cla...Oh wait!! don't tell me they share an illicit relationship?"

" Fudge, not even in a million years!! Oh..Commander you have quite a messed up imagination there, but mind your tongue!, if you don't want to be lashed by Young Master"

This angered retort came from a loyal maid that was standing behind him.

Now, he will be treated like a morally corrupted official for the rest of tenure.

Today really had been the black day on his counselling career. His judgements are turning ropes around his neck.

Just as he was contemplating his terrible destiny, another voice rang  from outside the gate.

"Quin!! I have come for battle, come face the great me, Zya Fen ."

Like a thunderclap, the voice broke Gu's line of thought.

 Zya 'Fen' Donjing, was the sole heiress from branched line of descent of Fen clan. Her status was incomparable to Gu, so she adorned a respectful ingression from him. Otherwise, his already fleeting job would be gone for sure.

"Lady Zya, I humbly apologise for the absence "Young Master" at this instance. Could you please make a visit tomorrow"

"She is currently on a lookout for Sir Gale, and her whereabouts are unknown by us ."

"You better hope nothing happens to those three clowns, who played with the hornets nest. Otherwise, you will be publicly executed on a stage"

As if too afraid to justify his actions, the commander wispered in a low voice.

"Our Young Master is benevolent she won't beat them to half death. And as males they do carry reputations, this matter will not turn so grave, as they won't let the information leak out. And as for Sir Gale, he would turn into a new leaf because of it"

"Hahahahahahahaha"

Zya let out a loud mocking laugh unbefitting of a girl and retorted

"The 'hornet' I am referring to isn't Quin, but Gale dummy. How can you be so naive~~.

Don't you know anything about his past?"

"Whhaa? Please don't joke with me, my lady. He isn't even on 2nd realm of "Command of Ice", he won't be able to do anything against a street dog, much less them."

" Say that after hearing about their past. I will inform you"
