Prologue
From out of the void, space into stone,
Earth springs to life from powers unknown,
With oceans and fields to fill the land,
Ending with the creation of man.
Thoughts wholly formed, perfection of mind,
Bodies are blessed, following in kind,
Eternal life, a gift to impart,

And holy desire from a pure heart.
None to guide them or execute grace,
Left to their own, perfection displaced,
Greed and corruption put on display,
Always destined to throw it away.
With Passion and will now fraught with pride,
Life turned to pain, no hope left inside,
Sickness and death, immortals repealed,
Evil minds of man forever revealed.
Pit of despair, a hole dug too deep,
Hatred and fear, the crops left to reap,
To rise back above, no man can climb,
Only wise hope, the Savior Divine.
Named in beauty, angelic in form,
Filled with passion from love newly born,
Opposing him, who conquers the land,
Restores in kind, elements of man.
Renewing all life, quenching the thirst,
The faithful alive inherit first,
Lost out from death, the next hope to find,
Then follows after, all of mankind.

These are the words of the Holy Verses. They were written 160 years after the fall of man to summarize the ancient texts into the common language. They speak of creation, the fall, and the eventual salvation of mankind. They have been interpreted many different ways by many different faiths.
This is the story of their fulfillment.
