Me and my team were almost to the top so close we could touch the tip of the world. But then of course they had to show up, Mount Craighammers signature monster, the harpeas Wheeling down upon us from above Shrikant their deathly cries. One of my teammates said "Look out everyone you don't wanna fall from this height".
He was very much right on that, if I was to fall off the Mountain on to one of the perfectly flat crag tops Surrounding mount Craghammer I would end up as a Smear of flash with little white specs throughout, Possibly with little shards of metal poking out of it. To put it in numbers Craghammer is 50 vertical miles from the tip of the highest crag and 80 vertical miles from sea level. It's so high up its only 20 miles away from what the grate space dungeon calls low earth orbit. Suffice it to say we were trying very hard not to fall.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
I had just de-winged A large specimen of the breed likely a C rank sun of a ____ ,wen an Alpha dyer harpea swoops Out of nowhere at me ,grabs me up in it's talens And begins flying me away likely to drop me on the see if it can find my corps later. Well if I am dead ,which I almost certainly am because I'm already far away from the tip of Craghammer allready, I'll be taking this thing down with me so I swing my sword and cut off it's wing.
We hseem to huver fore a moment If there was a Recording crystal there I would have looked right at it and said "o ____". We Plummeted the long way dawn before turning into nothing but a bloody mist and a Crystal crashing into a cave beneath the Surface.
Cave is a misnomer really it was more of an old abandoned Wolf den,the entry was long filled with Dirt and Mine too would fill in while I I just sat there Unconscious within the Crystal.
