so, he i created this 1 message for rant spoiler q/a purpose...
but the 1st thing i'll do, is sharing a little tool i build for myself, could be usefull for other writer who want to keep an accurate track of their character stats...
still need some tinkering, particulary to include the stats with minor effect on the HP in the formula... my actual guess is it will be something like that in final:
(vit*lvl+fraction1*stat1*lvl+fraction2*stat2*lvl+bonus hp)*hp modificator=HP total
where fraction1 and 2 would be between 1/10 and 1/2, stat1 being sustenance/endurence and stat2 being another stat with effect on hp...
the same kind of formula exist for mana, def, atk etc etc but it need some more research
at least, you could get an idea of what number the hp is close to for your character and calculate with certainity what his stats are at each time...

in the table, don't touch the line in red, that's where results show and some formula are writed...
what you can change is: the name (of course), the lvl (a must to calculate the actual hp/mana) and the events => event modifier (help to keep track of what granted stat), modification (resume the changes that you apply in the line) and the number in the corresponding line
for ease purpose, i locked 2 columns and some line so that they alway stay in view.
this is a 1st version that could help... and i accept gladly suggestion for tinkering
now, here's the link to dl the table (in odt format = openoffice)
