Minato's Residents: A Few Minutes Before Minato Teleported to Jiraiya

Minato teleported back into his home, collapsing to the ground.

"Minato-sensei!" Kakashi rushed to his side, concern etched on his face.

"Dad!" Naruto exclaimed, sprinting over.

"Minato, are you alright?" Kushina asked, her voice trembling. "I was so worried about you."

"I'm fine," he replied, forcing himself to sit up. "I just had a run-in with the Nine-Tails and the one who unleashed it on Konoha."

"Where are they now?" Kakashi asked remaining vigilant.

"Well the masked man who attacked me claimed to be Madara Uchiha sadly I didn't get much more information out of him. Because after I defeated him, he fled. As for the Nine-Tails, Jiraiya is holding it off with his summoning," Minato explained, breathing heavily.

"Madara Uchiha? Were you able to confirm it was really him?" Kakashi questioned, still on guard.

"No, but he was strong. I wouldn't be surprised if he spoke the truth," Minato replied.

"What about the Nine-Tails? We can't let it destroy the village!" Kushina insisted.

"The only option I see is to seal it into a host," Minato said, grimly.

"Seal it back into me! I won't let that monster hurt anyone else," Kushina declared, determination flashing in her eyes.

"No, Kushina," Minato said sternly. "You're too weak right now. You could die. The Nine-Tails is also a vital asset for the village. We need someone young—someone whose chakra coils haven't fully developed."

"Dad, I can take it! I'll do it to save the village!" Naruto offered desperation in his voice.

"Minato-sensei, I'll gladly take the Nine-Tails into me if it means protecting you all," Kakashi said, stepping forward.

"I appreciate the sentiment, but neither of you are young enough to handle this. It's too risky," Minato replied. "We need a baby."

He glanced toward baby Hikari.

"No! Not my baby!" Kushina's voice cracked with emotion. "I won't let her face that burden."

"If not her, then who? Hikari has the chakra reserves to handle it. Any other baby might not survive the stress," Minato argued, his tone firm.

"Why do we always have to make big sacrifices like this? Nobody would judge us if we were a little selfish this one time you know." She said, tearing up.

"I know Kushina but as Hokage I have to do what is right for the village," he said."How could I ask someone else to have their child host the ninetails if I wasn't willing to let my own children do it?" he said with a firm tone.

"Fine, but if you're doing this, I'm coming with you, I will not let you make this sacrifice alone you know." Kushina insisted.

"Kushina—"

"No, Minato! My chakra chains can hold the Nine-Tails off long enough for you to seal it into Hikari."

"Okay I'll take you with me then I don't see any chance of me stopping the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero anyway." He said Smiling at her

"Your right you know "she said back smiling.

"I'll help sensei ," Kakashi said.

" Thank you Kakashi but I need you to stay here and protect Naruto," Minato said. "Can you do that for me?"

"But Sensei."

"Kakashi right now the village is under attack and I don't know what is out there. I'm already worried for my daughter. I don't want to be worried for my sons too." he said smiling "Can you do that for me?" he questioned.

"Yes, Minato," Kakashi said, his resolve strong.

"Oh Naruto,Kakashi one last thing." Kushina said to them.

"Yes lady—."

"Yes Mom–."

Before he could finish, Kushina pulled both Kakashi and Naruto into a hug, cherishing the moment.

After breaking apart, she turned to Minato. "Let's go."

"Wait, Sensei!" Kakashi called out, placing a hand on Minato's shoulder. "If I can't come, let me transfer my chakra."

"Thank you, Kakashi. You both stay safe. I promise we'll be back in a flash." With that, Minato and Kushina teleported away with Hikari.

Konoha: Deep in the Forest

Minato emerged in the forest, where Kushina and Hikari awaited.

"Kushina, now!" he shouted as he materialized with the Nine-Tails.

"Got it! Uzumaki Chains!" she called, golden chains shooting from her back and ensnaring the beast.

"NO! Damn Uzumaki!" the Nine-Tails roared, struggling against its bonds.

"Kushina, have you made the preparations?" Minato asked, urgency in his tone.

"Yes!" she replied, gesturing to the sealing pedestal where Hikari lay.

"Perfect." Activate it Minato said as he arrived.

"Chained-Point Barrier!" Kushina yelled as a dome enclosed them.

"Let's finish this," Minato said, readying familiar hand signs.

"Wait! Why are you using the Reaper Death Seal?" Kushina asked, panic rising in her voice.

"It has too much evil chakra. We need to split it in half—Yin and Yang—so Hikari can control it better," he explained.

"Stop!" A voice called out, dropping down from the trees.

"Jiraiya-sensei! I can do this. I told you I was fine earlier." Minato said, getting ready to activate the jutsu.

"Minato, let me do this! You're my greatest student, and I can't lose you. You have a baby daughter and Naruto back home! Please, let me take your place!" Jiraiya pleaded, tears brimming in his eyes.

"Minato, don't do this! I can't be a parent without you!" Kushina cried, her concentration wavering.

In that moment of distraction, the Nine-Tails seized the chance, swinging its claw toward Hikari. "I'll kill that child before they seal me inside it!" it growled.

"No, Hikari!" Kushina shouted, lunging toward her daughter.

"No! I won't let you hurt my wife and daughter, you monster!" Minato yelled, teleporting in front of the claw just in time. "Reaper Death Seal!" he shouted, channeling the last of his chakra.

In an instant, he sealed the Nine-Tails within himself and Hikari using the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style before the claw could strike.

"Minato!" Kushina wailed, rushing to hold him as he collapsed.

As the barrier fell, Jiraiya rushed in. "Minato, you truly live up to the Yellow Flash name," he said, tears streaming down his face."Yeah, I guess you're right, Sensei," Minato chuckled softly, coughing up he looked over to Kushina"

"You did it, you saved the village You know." Kushina said to her dying husband crying

"You know I couldn't do it without you Kushina," he said "Look after Naruto and Hikari for me ," he said with a weak voice Looking at weeping Kushina.

"No, how will I do this by myself? Hikari and Naruto need their father, I need my Husband." she said, full of tears .

"No you don't he said back you'll be an amazing Mom Kushina you always have been with Naruto and continue to be with Hikari." he said then he looked over to his number 1 sensei

"Jiraiya-sensei, I know you'll think you're a failure and blame my death on yourself, but you're not. Your teachings and stories inspire hope. Instill the will of fire in the next generation as Hokage," Minato urged, his voice growing faint.

"MInato you know how I feel about that mantle."

"Do it for me as the last wishes of your dying student. "he begged Jiraiya with a somber and weak tone. "Please Jiariya."

"For you, I'll do it," Jiraiya vowed as Minato slipped away hearing those words with a smile on his face, leaving behind a crying Hikari in the forest with a eight point seal.
