Since my last update, many suggestion have been made for how I can put up the chapters and avoid scrapping/copying from translation and pirating websites. Each has its own drawback, but I've since settled on the one with the least negatives, or at least what seemed to be so.

First, let me clarify, that I never stopped writing, as some people have misunderstood my previous post and believed that I'd gone on a hiatus from the story altogether. My patrons still get chapters regularly, and I'm working on finishing book 2 overall this year.

Now to the suggestion that I found most suitable. I don't know if you're aware, but Patreon has established a new Free Membership, meaning you can subscribe to my page on Patreon without being required to pay anything. Creators can make posts specifically for their free members, and I've decided to use this feature to publish chapters for those who want to continue reading. This is a temporary measure. I don't know if it would work on the long term, or frankly, even on the short term, so I'm trying it to see how goes. The 'membership' caveat creates a paper-thin barrier against direct scrapping, along with the fact that Patreon is not often a target of such scrapping. At least I haven't heard of any authors complaining about their patreon posts being copy-pasted onto pirate websites.

As I said, there have been other suggestions, but they had their own drawbacks which I saw more issues in. For now, I'll try this, then move on to another method if it doesn't work.
