Taryn Taylor, the son of a seeress, is mostly content with his lot. For generations, his family has made a living selling their mystic arts. He just wishes he didn't feel like a fraud. Even his mother would admit most of her predictions were nothing more than educated guesses and lucky breaks, assuming of course you managed to get a straight answer out of her, but when it really matters, her magic was real.  But then one fateful night, Taryn happens across a display of artifacts unearthed at a local archaeological dig. Exactly as his eyes landed on a rusty piece of metal, his entire life begins to change.
