I was saved.
My body felt fine. I was breathing. I was alive. It all felt very odd. I lifted my head, and I could see the back of the hulking mage as he made his way over crumbled stone. He had long strides and he stepped on shattered stone and dead vines like they weren't even there.
I felt like I should watch him. Possibly for no other reason than that he was powerful, but Instead I leaned my head back. I had been on the brink of death, then saved, and then left alone all in what felt like 5 seconds. I wanted rest more than I wanted to understand. With my head resting comfortably on the stone I unfocused my eyes and listened idly to the chanting.
It took around 20 seconds of muttering before I heard, "Heal."
More muttering and then another, "Heal."
And then silence.

I could feel my body temperature going down and my breathing calm. I could feel my arms resting heavily against the stone. The color of the stone was very vivid. Every sesation that I had blocked out during the fight was now coming to me so strongly that It was all I could do just let my mind experience it without thought.
I feel as though I layed there for quite a while before I heard a sigh and heavy footsteps leading towards me. I was still admiring the beauty of life as a scary face came scarily close to mine. I noticed that the mage had dark eyes, a square face, and no eyebrows. His eyes were very inexpressive.
"Up," He said
With how little emotion he put in the word, it didn't click in my mind that he was saying a real word with meaning behind it. I could tell he wanted something, so I said it back to him.
"Up."
He frowned and kept his face right in front of mine. I stared at him.
"Get up. We need to move. I have questions."
It took me a moment again to make sense of what he was saying, but I flipped over and took care in getting to my feet. Behind him was the blonde boy looking fine physically, but with a pained and exhausted expression. I wondered if my face looked as sunken as his.
"Let's start with this. How long have you two been here?"
