It wiggled around in the air as if it was gasping for air, more and more cracks began to appear and more and more pieces began to fall off.

The creature inside the egg pushed and the upper half of the egg, which was already covered in cracks, broke off in several pieces.

Revealing a bizarre creature with four of those tube shaped arms and a big mouth on top, the mouth had several rows of sharp teeth, the body of this creature looked like a bag of meat.

This bag of meat is a dungeon core, a being that can create its own minions if the requirements are fulfilled, the created monster can roam free in the domain of the core and everything covered by the mana of the core is the domain.

The reason why dungeon monsters cant exit the domain is simple, dungeon monsters aren’t natural born, they have mana crystals inside them allowing them to move, when they leave the domain, the mana stone won’t be charged and when its empty the monster dies.

Said bag of meat was at the end of a small cave, the cave was two times as high, and three times as wide as the creature was.

The cave was long enough that the end was completely dark, even in the middle of the day.

The creature that was now free of the egg, put his arms over its body and stopped moving and started releasing mana.

After a while, a spider as big as a fist came into the cave, attracted by the dense mana in the cave, while it was not a lot it was more than normally.

The spider crawled deeper and deeper into the cave, not knowing it was walking in its own doom, the spider was right next to the mana releaser, one of the arms moved enveloping the spider, moving over the mouth and letting the spider fall in.

The rows of teeth crushing the smaller animal, ‘delicious’, the mouth then closed again and went into the state it was before, with the arms covering the body.

A blue box appeared in the mind of the core, for the blind creature this was new, but it didn’t paiy much attention to it.

After a few minutes an identical spider like the one that was eaten, came out of the tube like arm, it was covered in transparent slime, the spider stood up and the slime started to drip off.

The spider wasn’t hostile, it stood there as if it was waiting for something, then the core took control over the spider, it could now see for the first time ‘beautiful’ it thought staring at itself.

It then looked around the eyes of the spider allowed it to see in the dark, then it walked along the cave, it couldn’t get anywhere else anyway.

Coming to the entrance of the cave it could see a tropical forest, in fact it was in the middle of it and the cave entrance was a hole in the ground.

But there wasn’t much of interest, so it started securing the entrance it did that by covering the whole entrance in web, realizing this would take a while, the core put his consciousness back into its self-claimed beautiful body.

And out of same arm came more spiders, which then were ordered by the core to make the web at the entrance, this time the core didn’t take control of a body but it could still see through the eyes of its minions.

Until the wished outcome was there a big web with multiple layer covering the entrance, there were only small holes on the side of the web for the spider to pass through.

But the spiders didn’t stop there they started covering the inside of the cave and the ground near the entrance, to tell other animals fuck off!

The core also didn’t stopped working while it stopped making spiders since it already had 14, it released more mana in the surrounding are, to make its domain bigger.
