Episode 3:To rock a rhyme that right on time

Gary was in a haze when he came to, it was like he got ran over eight different times by drunk drivers. The memories of last night came back to him gradually, His eyes adjusted to the shining lights, he was in a unfamiliar bed, everywhere he look it was a blinding white. All he could hear was the slow beeping of a heart monitor. He looks towards the machine in question. He doesn't even remember passing out , It hurts to even turn his head. The door opened slowly, he looks fearfully towards the door, expecting another attack. A nurse appeared and behind her, two figures he couldn't see clearly, his eyes still a little blurry.

"It appears that you have visitors." The nurse said sweetly as she gestured to the two.

"Hey Gary, you're alright?" The gruff male voice said to him. He recognizes it, it was Trevor.

Gary suddenly got enveloped in a gentle hug by what seems to be a woman by the feel of it.

"Oh Gary, I'm so sorry!" It was Andrea, his co-worker, she was crying, he could feel her wet face on his neck.

"Andrea? Hey, it alright, this isn't your fault." He tried to soothe her, it just made her cry harder.

"You're wrong Gary, it is my fault!" Andrea choked out as Trevor rubbed his hand through his messy crimson and green hair.

"Hey, Listen maybe we should give Gary some spa-" Trevor was cut off by Andrea.

"The reason you got hurt by that psycho is because of me." Andrea admitted, guilt coursing through her veins.

"What? no Andrea, how could this be your fault?" Gary said, still confused.

"Ok, The patient needs his space." The nurse said gently, placing her hand on Andrea's shoulder.

"Not until i tell him the truth, then i'll leave." Andrea said getting up, still looking Gary in the eyes.

"It's a good thing you're already laying down for this one, eh Gary?" Trevor said, leaning back against the wall.

"That bitch that came into the store last night paid me two thousand to tell me where you lived, when i asked why, she said that she wanted to surprise you and that she had feelings for you! I can't believe i fell for that shit! I nearly got you killed! Please, i'm not asking for forgiveness, you deserve to know what really happen." Andrea said, tears running down her face as she turned to leave.

He thought for a moment. Gary knew that she wouldn't done this on purpose. Accidents happen, right? But how could she have been so careless? He knew this might not be entirely her fault as that crazy killer was really in his apartment looking for Trevor from the get-go. Still Andrea was a fool, as far as he knew her she was never one to do stupid things like this.

"But how well do i know her?" He thought to himself as he took a good long look into Andrea's tearful eyes.

Gary couldn't help but be reminded of himself at a younger age, looking downright pitiful like she did. Wishing to change the past but that was too late. He wanted to laugh it was kind of funny to the man who is currently in danger.

"I forgive you." Gary said calmly.

Andrea was shocked, so was Trevor and the nurse.

"Uh? Kid? you sure because..." Trevor started.

"No Trevor, it alright, besides if somebody offer you money to disclose someone location you would take the deal too. Right?" Gary asked Trevor who opened his mouth for a rebuttal.

"Shit, you right." Trevor conceded as he grabbed a tv remote and turn on the tv. Hmm look like the Burnington Beasts are in the lead against Redemption's Strikers in the basketball game.

"But..but...I'm a horrible per-" Andrea was cut off by Gary.

"No, I'm in the hospital because of that crazy woman! Not you!" Gary said forcibly.

"And me too! I SENT HER THERE!" Andrea yelled out before calming herself down. "How can you forgive me so easily?!" She demanded, baffled.

"Well, i known you for a year now, There was plenty of times you could've screw me over, but you didn't, in fact you been more helpful than our own boss" Gary said honestly, he must've been crazy, but he understand her motivations. Money was the lynchpin when it came to many things. He was good at reading people, at least he thought he was.

"I mean I did feel uneasy around Vivian and that was before she attacked me." Gary thought to himself.

He doesn't think Andrea would harm him on purpose. Call it his intuition, hasn't fail him so far.

"Besides." Gary said. "It not like you could've known her true intentions. At least put the money to good use." Gary told Andrea as she felt even more guilty about his situation. What could she do to help him? Trevor thought Gary was being too pure-hearted for his own good, unless Gary had feelings for this girl and this was a calculated move on Gary's part.

"So what happen while i was knocked out?" Gary asked bluntly, changing the subject.

Trevor recounted the events as best as he could.

Gary's face paled, everything that happen yesterday hitting him full force. There was a moment of silence that pass, Andrea placed a hand on his shoulder and gently shake him, bringing back to the slightly more comforting reality that was the hospital. Gary squeeze her hand for reassurance.

"I nearly lost my life back there..." Gary said, more to himself than his two friends.

"Nearly, you nearly lost your life, but you should be fine." Trevor said smiling. Gary studied Trevor's face, he seemed to be sure of something.

The nurse escorted the two out but Trevor left one final message.

"Call me later, i wrote my number down on a piece of paper, it should be in your medical band."

Gary looked, and there it was, a white piece of paper sticking out of his band.

Gary laid back and relaxed. A thousand thoughts racing through his mind at once.

"I nearly died, what was with that woman? Why did Trevor know who she is? Damn should've asked him about that" Gary thought, the only thing he knew was her name, Vivian.

The nurse came back over.

"How long was I out for?" He asked of the nurse.

" Around three days. You're very lucky , you know? You lost a good amount of blood." The blonde hair nurse said , trying to awkwardly make conversation with him.

"Yeah, that crazy woman just attacked me. If it wasn't for my friend Trevor, I would've died." Gary said, very appreciative of the man.

"Oh? You mean the drunk? Yeah he the one who donated his blood to you." The blonde nurse explained.

Gary widened his eyes at this, He owe Trevor his life now more than ever. He knew that he was a good man.

Then a terrifying thought came to him and the nurse had to laugh at his horrified expression.

"Don't worry his blood was surprisingly clean. I was shocked to be honest." The nurse said making him feel at ease and now like a complete jerk for thinking Trevor had diseased blood.

"I owe him my life." Gary said to himself.

"Well make sure when you're well you treat him out to dinner as a thanks. Maybe the Café au ladies?" The nurse suggested happily.

Gary was shocked, The Café Au Ladies was a strip joint that had surprisingly decent food, Andrea dragged him there at one point. Why would a sweet nurse like her know of such a place?

"My sister works there, She very sweet. Tell her i sent you, make sure you watch over her." The nurse said, seemingly reading his mind. Gary nodded but then realized something.

"Wait what your sister name? What does she look like?" Gary asked. He never turn down a opportunity to help someone, even if it something small, like watching something for a friend while they make a quick trip.

"Shelly, well that her stage name at least, My name is Denise." The nurse said to him as she brought over a tray with orange juice and grilled cheese.

"Well Denise, thank you, for everything." Gary sincerely said as he gingerly lifted his hand to grab the grilled cheese and took a bite of it.

"But why do you want me to watch over her?"

Denise stopped for a moment.

"Well call me crazy but you seem to be the kind of man who knows what she going through and someone like you can help her. Let leave it at that." Denise told him seriously.

Gary didn't say anything, all he really know is that he needed to focus on his recovery for now.

Andrea and Trevor didn't make it five feet before being confronted by David, who was in his police uniform. Trevor recognized him from that night where that bitch damn near killed Gary.

"Good afternoon you two, I trust Gary is recovering?" He asked.

"Yeah he doing just fine, now if you excuse us-" Trevor was bout to move past but David stopped him.

"You mind if I ask her some questions? I can't even begin to understand what you going through, Ms. Walker. I'm Officer Starks. You can refer to me as David. " He introduced himself to her.

Andrea was silent for a moment, not sure of what to say.

"You can just call me Andrea. I answer any questions you may have." She said, walking forward as Trevor looked at her like she was the dumbest fucker alive. Well considering she was the reason Gary almost died to begin with, maybe he wasn't being a asshole when he thought that. But then Gary is the dumber one considering he forgave her so easily. He sighed and walk past the two, when he get back to his apartment he was going to go into a coma.

"Hey Andrea?"

"Yeah?"

"Make sure you watch after Gary, ok? Make sure to keep your ear out for anything that might want him dead. You owe him that much at least." Trevor advised as he walked off.

"I will." Andrea said to his retreating form.

David looked at Trevor, he was an odd case that for sure. Had run ins with the B.P.D before. Bar fights, public urination, solicitation of prostitutes. Trevor definitely knew more than he let on.

"Trevor, somehow you're connected to why this poor man is in the hospital, and I'm going to find out the truth." David thought to himself as he took out a note pad and a pen.

After another day in the hospital Gary was allowed to leave and return home. He quickly hurried to his house, not wanting to stay out in the open too long.

Gary opened the door to his apartment, not sure what he was expecting, the inside of his apartment still look the same aside from the rolling pin on the floor. He went to pick it up, He heard a loud snore coming from his living room and turned to see Trevor, asleep on the couch, most of his possessions in his arms as he cradled them close to his chest. The stench of beer and smoke wafted off the man as he snored.

"dON'T...TOUCH MY GOLD! DAMN KIDS!" Trevor yelled in his sleep, stirring upwards before slumping back down onto the couch, ihis trinkets of sliver and gold falling onto the floor.

"Trevor? wake up." Gary said close to the sleeping man. No such luck.

"Trevor!" Gary nearly shouted. Trevor bolted up and slashed a knife at Gary, who dodged it by jumping back.

"sTAY THE FUC-Oh shit hey Gary, sorry about that." Trevor apologized as he stood up and cracked his back.

"What the hell?! Is that how you react to somebody waking you up?!" Gary asked angrily of the hungover man as he scratches his head.

"Well first things first, considering what happen three nights ago, it doesn't hurt to be cautious and seconds things second, yes that how i usually wake up. What I'm saying is don't share a bed with me." Trevor said as he picked up a nearly empty bottle of beer and sucked the dregs out of it.

Gary just sighed and went to his room.

"I was going to ask you if you wanted to join me at Café Au Ladies." Gary said as he changed out of his clothes and into black pants and a black dress shirt, and picked out his red jacket.

Trevor look at Gary surprised, he assumed that Gary was a pure hearted virgin, or as pure-hearted as he can be after Trevor's deep discussions on his sexual fetishes and psychology behind them.

"Well Damn Gary, I didn't know you got down like that! Count me in! I got some things I need to talk to you about anyways and i rather not do it sober or on a empty stomach." Trevor said as he stretches his arms and scratched his neck.

"You sure you should be up and around? Shit we might run into that bitch again." Trevor said, still wanting to go despite that.

"Yeah, i need some questions answered and i have a feeling that you know more than you're letting on." Gary told him.

"Well look at the brains on you, yeah i answer your questions." Trevor said as he let out a belch.

"I'm going to change my clothes, too." Trevor said and was about to leave out of Gary's apartment. Leaving the smell of sulfur and alcohol behind.

"Wait." Gary commanded of Trevor who stopped and turn around, slightly confused.

"Thank you for saving my life." Gary told him.

Trevor scoffs.

"Don't thank me just yet. We still in the danger zone." Trevor told him seriously and left his apartment.

Gary combed his hair and looked out his window. The sky was setting, the once bright blue sky turning into an alluring Orange and Purple. He thought back to the kind nurse Denise and her request to him.

"Hey Gary?" Trevor asked from behind him scaring the shit out of Gary and knocking him back into reality.

"CHRIST TREVOR! DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!"

"First of all, lower your damn voice, who the hell you think you talking to?"

Gary sighed and took a deep breath. He count to ten in his head.

"What do you want?"

"Ok now that your little outburst is over with, there some important things i need to tell you first so you don't get shock later."

Gary nodded and leaned against the wall, already not liking where this was going.

"Remember how i so graciously save your life out of the goodness of my infinite heart?" Trevor asked, pitching his voice up and slicking his hair back. A hand on his chest, reminding the recovering store worker of a cartoon prince.

"I do remember you surprisingly saving my life despite having no real reason to. Thank you again, i don't think that i can ever repay you."

"Ah don't mention it, now, since you have my precious blood that is highly valued-"

"By who?" Gary asked interrupting Trevor, very confused as he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth with Trevor following along.

"Keep on and imma start swinging." The surly man threatened.

"It a genuine question!" Gary retorted as he put the toothpaste on the green toothbrush.

"And you're a genuine masturbator." Trevor insulted.

"Said the one who into penis abuse." Gary said as he took the toothbrush out his mouth.

"IT CALLED COCK AND BALL TORTURE!" Trevor yelled in anger, completely offended out of his drunken mind by Gary's butchering of the name.

"It called being a pervert." Gary said with a repressed shudder as he rinsed his mouth with water.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"I won't disagree with that." Trevor said, cracking a smile.

"So now before i was so rudely interrupted, you have my blood inside you so things are about to change."

"Change like how?" Gary asked, concerned.

"I explain more once we get to the place, i want to soften the blow over decent food." Trevor told Gary who was annoyed but roll with it because he was hungry as well and didn't want to lose his appetite. He took the toothbrush and-wait a minute.

"Trevor do you know what color my toothbrush is?" Gary asked, his stomach sinking down to his testicles.

"Maybe you should've stayed in the hospital for a few more days, i mean how the hell should i know something like that? It Green, the one you holding in your hand right now right?

Gary wanted to vomit. Flashes of Vivian came to his mind.

"My toothbrush is purple." Gary said quietly.

He opened the compartment behind the mirror and saw what his mind refused to register before. A note.

Dear Prey,

I had so much fun playing with you that i might just visit you again. It been sometime since i had a proper thrill and you seem like the kind of guy to give me what i want. Keep working on yourself, i really want you to surprise me next time. OK?

Sincerely, Vivian.

Gary punched the wall in frustration, cracks formed along the fist.

"You not getting your deposit back." Trevor noted as he took the letter. It disintegrated in his hands, of course it would.

"Those assholes are too clever for their own good." Trevor thought with annoyance as he wipes the ash away from his hands.

"yeah i really going to be missing that $300" Gary lamented as he felt surprise at the fact his fist didn't immediately hurt nor did he receive that much damage from punching the wall to begin with.

"300?! What in the-" Trevor was understandably flabbergasted like that one time those kids bested him in battle.

"Let just say the landlord was all too happy to cut me a deal after i caught him in a...unsavory light." Gary explained. Now he wasn't one to judge people based on their kinks and quirks, so when he caught the landlord Mr.Patten in a furry mascot costume of a pig having relations with someone who was in a horse outfit with boobs? He didn't know where you can even get one. He wasn't going to tell but Mr.Patten was very insistent so who was he to judge?

Trevor just had to laugh, Gary was proving to be a interesting person by the second.

Trevor was confused as all hell until he connected the dots while they're were half-way to their destination. How his own place was properly ransacked but the stupid woman with the knife fetish didn't take any of his gold or silver.

No what she took will make things far more difficult for him and his good friend Gary. Oh and the rest of world but mainly him and Gary!

"Oooh that bitch is a freak." Trevor said out loud.

"Yeah...." Gary agreed, still spiting on the sidewalk.

The Café Au Ladies was quite an interesting beast in of itself. Located in Burnington, right in the heart of it where people would have to drive right past. Faithful men trying to ignore the siren call of this palace of sin. For men, it was a stress release and place of leisure, a slice of heaven tucked away from the prying eyes of the moral busybodies. And for women with low self-confidence, a chance to improve your self-esteem and find peace within yourself. The Blinding neon lights, the intoxicating aura that just pulls passersby with good money in. Gary and Trevor was standing in line waiting to pay their fee to get in, after a few minutes they was next up.

The Man who was supposedly the bouncer was had the most muscle that Gary had ever seen on a man. Despite his dark skin, little scars that decorated his arms and neck was made apparent. He was wearing a tight black t-shirt which said Café Au Ladies security on it. He damn near towered over the two men.

"Minimum price is fifteen, each." The bouncer said, his voice was deep, like he would make a great DJ.

"Ah yes of course." Gary said, bringing out his wallet and payed the amount, while Trevor just pulled out a gold coin.

The bouncer looked at Trevor funny.

"Trust me, you can check for yourself." Trevor said.

The guard did just that as he pull out a scope and examine the coin in question . Trevor was impressed.

"Smart man!" Trevor complimented.

The bouncer's eyebrow raised, he cracked a smile.

"All right, you both can get in."

Gary and Trevor walked into the best nightclub this side of Burnington.

Gary felt like he was walking into a whole new universe altogether, the club itself was in low lights, with the bright lights reserved for the girls on the stage, dancing their hearts for the lustful crowd. He remembered when Andrea took him here on a whim, Servers was flirting with him, he almost got into a fight in the men's bathroom with a drunk. It was an interesting experience overall.

"I always have to tell myself to take a breath and calm down." Gary thought as he felt overwhelmed by the cute servers winking at him, one of them had long blonde hair and looked just like the nurse except she was taller. She was wearing the traditional uniform of a Café Au Ladies worker. It was a typical coffee uniform that was modified to be sexy, the pants was cut off into booty shorts and she was wearing a dark red polo shirt that showed off her impressive attributes. Her hair was curly, like Marylin Monroe except it was longer.

"Shelly?" Gary asked as the employee stopped in her place, Trevor was curious, was Gary an average customer of this place to the point he knew workers by name there? Didn't think Gary had it in him.

"Um, Denise sent me here." Gary explained.

"Hey sweetie! Why don't i get you a table?" She quickly said, the smile on her face was wide, but Gary could tell it was forced. Shelly led them to a booth with plush seats. There was two menus on the table.

"I hope you two enjoy your stay! I will be right back to take your order, so don't go anywhere! " She said flirtingly.

"Are you ok?" Gary asked, concerned at how Shelly was acting. Trevor was wondering why Gary was interested in this particular waitress, until it hit him. He cracked a wide smile.

Shelly just squeezed his arm, it actually hurts, the way she dug her nails in. Not enough to draw blood, but enough to leave a message.

"Just fine darling!" She responded happily, she walked away with a bounce in her step.

Gary watched her go, something was definitely up, he turned to see Trevor grinning at him like a fool.

"You are just full of surprises aren't you? Didn't know you had your eye on a girl, here i was thinking you were into men. Not that there anything wrong with it, of course. I myself had a few male lovers from time to time so..."

"What? No it just that Denise wanted me to check in on her. It was the least i can do." Gary told him.

"Who the hell Denise?" Trevor asked, very confused.

"The nurse? The one who was in the room with you and Andrea when i woke up." Gary reminded Trevor.

'Ok to be fair, i don't remember the bit players." Trevor said as Shelly bounced over to them.

"HI honeys! Ready to take your order?" Shelly asked.

Gary played along for now, he picked up the menu prompting Trevor to do the same. Gary looked through the various drinks and dishes as he felt Shelly's glare on him. Trevor watched the situation with interest.

"Girl what are you hiding?" Trevor asked her directly before receiving a sharp kick in his shins.

"ANYWAYS!" Gary said a little too loudly before clearing his throat.

"We have two cokes please!" Gary said happily.

Shelly gave them another fake smile.

"Right-O Daddies-O!" She said happily and walked off to get the order.

"I pay you back for that kick, watch yourself." Trevor warned, Gary rolled his eyes and focus on the environment of this club.

"Ok so what do you know about this Vivian?" Gary asked as he turned his attention towards Trevor. The man leaned back and scratched his head.

"Our little assassin is part of the group known as the Pansazu." Trevor told him, the sounds of the club begin to blur to Gary as he felt his vision darkened. He look down at the blood pooling around his feet, he hid like a coward-

"Oh shit. Gary if this upsetting you then I can-" Trevor was interrupted by Shelly bringing the cokes on a silver plate.

"Is everything ok, sugar?" Shelly asked, clearly concerned for Gary, she had seen that look on his face before. It was the same look that she often had in the late hours of the night as she sunk into a deep depression over the current state of her life.

Gary snapped out of it, He saw Shelly looking at him with concern, Trevor shared the same look as well.

"I'm ok, thank you. Both of you." Gary told them, very touched with how they were both concerned for him.

"Hey sugar, may i suggest a dance from Tangerine over there?" She suggested to the young man who shakes his head, a little flustered. It was adorable to the waitress.

"No thanks." Gary declined politely as he took a sip of his coke. Shelly nodded and took out a notepad.

"So had you two decided on your order?" She kept her voice upbeat in order to lift Gary's spirits.

"I have a Heartbreaker with extra fries, thank you." Trevor told Shelly who wrote it down.

"And for you cutie?"

"Uhhh.." Gary took a quick look at the menu and was very confused.

"What with these names? Elsewhere Salad? Blammed Burger?" Gary thought to himself , perplexed.

"Anytime now, before she runs off." Trevor remind him.

"Oh uh Philly Nice cheesesteak!" Gary told Shelly who wrote it down.

"Alright cuties, i be right back with your orders so stick around!" She told the two as she saunters off, the fake smile completely leaving her face the moment she was out of view.

"Um Trevor i be back, i have to use the bathroom." Gary excused himself as he got up.

"Well don't take too long, like i said we have a lot to talk about." Trevor told him as he look at all the sexy waitresses.

Gary relieved himself in the urinal, the bathroom actually smelled surprisingly like apples, no small task considering this was a men bathroom in a strip club. Unsurprisingly he could still hear the music all the way from here, the slight vibrations ran through the building. His mind drifted back to Shelly.

"Shelly seemed troubled by something. Hopefully she isn't involved in any gang business." Gary thought as he finished up. Shelly was real nice, he hate the idea of some greedy jerk using her for their advantage. He wished Denise was more forthcoming with why Shelly was in trouble, but he understood the logic of why she didn't tell him. Would you trust some random stranger to look after your sister? much less reveal personal information that isn't any of that random person business?

"That nurse definitely knows more than she let on." Gary thought. But he had to ask himself next. Why him?

Gary chuckled, that question can sum up his current life right now. Anything to keep the dread and anxiety from consuming him.

He felt that someone was behind him and turned to see a peculiar sight. It was a person that was wearing a mask, a Japanese Hannya mask from the looks of it. He was wearing black parachute pants and a casual long jacket that spliced between two designs, tiger stripes and orange spiders on a black background. the person was wearing no shirt underneath which showed off his impressive physique.

"Uh..." Gary started before getting roundhouse kicked to the ground. A cry of pain came out from Gary's lips as he hit the tiled floor. The mysterious man kicked him dead in the ribs. Gary was surprised at how he still had his breath, his ribs felt intact. He was certain he was kicked with enough force to break them.

"Man this just isn't my week." He thought to himself as he looked up at the Masked Man raised his foot and was about to slam it down. Gary moved out the way just in time, he heard the tile break with ease.

"Seriously again with the stomping?" Gary thought angrily, this guy had to be related to that crazy woman. He dodge another stomp and got up quickly, putting some distance away from him and the masked man.

"A trick or a treat?" The masked man asked, backflipping into one of the stalls that was closed. He leapt over the top. Gary wonder for a moment if he was dreaming. Maybe he never left his hospital bed. As if he could be so lucky.

"HEY MAN WHAT THE FU-" A man was cut off from speaking his mind with a sickening sound. To Gary it sound like flesh ripping apart, the same sound he heard when that crazy woman's knife hit him. The memories hit him fast, he wanted to throw up.

Dark red blood began to seep out from under the stall. The door was suddenly knocked off it hinges and a man in a white jersey fell to the ground, completely disemboweled. Gary was shocked, he wanted to vomit but nothing would come up. He stared at the horrific scene in front of him.

"I SAID, TRICK OR TREAT?" The Masked man yelled again, sitting on the toilet, blood decorating his colorful jacket. From the accent, English wasn't his first language. The shout snapped Gary back to his senses.

Gary put his hands up in a defensive position before wincing, remembering his injuries, still it was important not to tense up.

The Masked man jumped off the toilet. He stood in front of Gary and flopped down to the ground, he bended his back and before Gary know it, the stranger's head was under his crotch.

Gary would've been impressed if he wasn't horrified.

"TRICK OR-" The Masked Man started again, bouncing up from his previous position.

" SHUT THE HELL UP!" Gary snapped. The masked man cocked his head to the side before twisting his head around 180 degrees with his own hands. Gary wanted to go home, he wanted to move out of this God-forsaken city.

"But forget it. I'm here now, I can't run. So..."Gary thought to himself, he didn't know the man in the bathroom stall but he knew that he didn't deserve to die. With a yell Gary steeled himself and on instinct tackled the Masked Man to the ground. But something happen on their trip to the sticky floor, The man contorted his body around Gary like a snake and just like that, The man was free of Gary's grasp as he watched the ordinary man landed on the floor which was increasingly becoming stained from the blood.

The Masked Man stood and looked down at the person he was tasked to kill. He laughed, it was all so entertaining to him.

"Why is Vivian so intrigued by you?" The Masked Stanger asked of Gary.

"I don't know! Please just leave me alone!" Gary said in a futile attempt as he tried to get up. Although at least his previous theory of the connection between Vivian and this guy is correct.

"Man that chick was wild-" Trevor was cut off by the situation in front of him. His friend Gary, struggling to get up from the blood-laden floor, the masked man cocked his head towards the drunk man, extremely happy that his actual target waltz into the bathroom at this time. A pool of blood slowing coming out of that large man in the stall.

"So we doing this again? Trevor asked, sighing. The Masked Man was about to respond but felt a sharp pain in his testicles. No, more than sharp. It was burning him alive! Like dunking your crotch in a hot frying pan covered in oil.

"Way to go Gary!" Trevor cheered at the sight of Gary kicking the masked assailant in the testicles. Trevor noticed something off about Gary's shoe, it was smoking.

The Masked Man backflipped away. His crotch was almost cooked.

"Dirty. Very Dirty. I like it." The Masked Man said approvingly of Gary's tactics.

Gary got up with the help of Trevor. He suddenly became aware of the heat he could feel in his feet. Both his shoes were smoking.

"Trevor? What happening?" Gary asked, now very concerned at the sight of his smoking shoes.

Trevor coughed awkwardly.

"Remember when I said because I gave you my blood to keep you alive, your body was going to change somewhat?" Trevor said.

"No?" Gary responded.

Gary's shoes than burst into flames.

"Well there you go." Trevor said, smiling awkwardly. The Masked Man pulled out two miniature bombs.

"You know, this doesn't hurt at all and WHY THE HELL MY FEET ON FIRE?!" Gary yelled as he tried to fan out the flames by shaking his feet wildly.

"GARY GODS-DAMNIT GET A GRIP!" Trevor yelled at Gary who shoved his foot into the sink and turned on the faucet, only for it to have no effect whatsoever.

The masked man laughed and toss the two unlit bombs at Gary's feet. The bombs fuses was lit by Gary stamping his feet, trying to get rid of the flames.

Gary looked down at his feet to see the bombs , He grabs Trevor and runs out of the bathroom and into the hallway. a faint sound of air being sprayed can be heard.

"What going on? Trevor's blood give me this ability?" He thought rapidly as they got as far way from the door as possible.

Trevor stopped, there was no explosions, He may be drunk but he can tell a fake out when he sees it. He walked back over to the bathroom door. He still heard the faint sound of air shooting out. He smiled.

"Sounds like it was a smoke gre-" The door blew off the hinges and slammed into Trevor, knocking him against the wall. The sickening sound of bones-breaking filled Gary's ears.

"Trevor!" Gary yelled out in concern. He ran to the recently opened men bathroom to see nobody there. It was surprising no one came running too see what the noise was. Gary noticed the body was gone too. All that left was the large puddle of blood. Gary felt sick to his stomach.

"Well fuck you too, masked dick." Trevor said, coming back to the realm of consciousness and feeling a sharp pain in his chest, and his back. His left shoulder was also fucked up. Gary went over to Trevor, his feet still ablaze.

"Trevor? are you able to stand up?" Gary asked, he knew Trevor would be ok, now it was just the matter of getting out of here.

"What the hell going on?!" A woman asked angrily as she full took in the situation, She had her hair wrapped up in a bun, her beautiful hair in the front curled off in a Jeri curl. Her skin dark like the beautiful night sky. She was wearing a maroon robe, her ruby red lips nursing a cigarette. She motioned one of the guards over, She walked over to the two men.

Too late.

"Are you alright?" She asked Trevor who just grunted in response.

"How about you?" She asked, concerned for the young man, she turned to look at the bathroom and gasped at the large amount of blood on the floor. She glared at the two men with the intensity of a supernova.

"That wasn't our fault! there was this man who attacked me and-"

"OH MY GOD YOUR FEET!" The woman yelled out in shock as she finally focused on Gary ablaze feet, the shoes was completely destroyed, smoldering. The carpet surrounding his feet becoming blackened.

The bouncer from earlier took off his shirt and tried stamping out the flames to it with no effect.

"Trevor how do I stop this?!" Gary asked, panicking. Trevor groaned, still recovering from that bitch-ass move done by that masked stranger.

"Uh damnit, Gary just calm down and breathe in deeply." Trevor said, trying to rise to his feet and failing miserably.

Gary felt a hand placed on him by the woman who simply nodded. Gary turned his eyes to the entrance way of the hall to see the bouncer standing in front, blocking the view from the outside. Nobody was even paying attention to them.

Gary breathe in deeply, in and out. The intense warmth in his feet slowly faded away, the more He breathed in, the more calm he felt. Soon the flames began to flicker and dim. They went away, leaving only the soothing warmness.

Gary smiled in relief, he looked up at the lady to see she wasn't as pleased as he was.

"You and that drunkard come into my private office, Ron! Section off the bathroom and call my clean-up guy." She ordered the three men. Ron nodded and grab the door and place it in front of the entrance to the bathroom and pulled out a roll of yellow tape.

Gary stood up and went over to help Trevor.

"Ugggh thank you Gary, look like we're in trouble with mom." Trevor joked, Gary didn't get it but The woman groaned.

"Why is it whenever you come over here Trevor, there some bullshit poppin off and you usually at the center of it?" She motioned the two to follow her.

"Hell Coco, i can't help it, trouble follow me like a child molester following a little league match." He joked, hacking up some blood. The woman named Coco laughed as Gary was horrified at the thought of what Trevor just said.

"Trevor, you're fucking terrible." Coco said amused as they reached her office.

There they was, Gary and Trevor sat down in the lush red chairs in front of her lacquer black desk. Coco leaned back in her chair and lit another cigarette, she took a long drag of it. To Gary, this might mean nothing but to Trevor, this meant they were in for a looong night.

"Um-" Gary started.

Coco quickly put one finger up and Gary understood.

She exhaled the smoke and look at the two men who caused so much shit in the matter of a hour.

"Tell me what happen, from the beginning, when you two came into my establishment."

Gary swallowed.

"Well we came into this club, i saw Shelly-"

Coco's eyes hardened when he mentioned this, but she let him continued.

"I told her that her sister Denise sent me to this place, she started acting strange.

Coco nodded, her rage barely concealed.

"I decided to use the bathroom and that when..."

Gary stopped, the weight of everything hitting him full force. He lurched forward, he nearly vomited. Trevor put a comforting hand on his back.

"I can infer what happened from there." Coco said softly, Trevor gave her a look of gratitude.

"Ron, can you bring Shelly here, please?" Coco asked on her walkie-talkie.

"To think they would send one of their own into such a public place..." Coco said to herself more than Gary and Trevor.

"I'm sorry Ms.Coco, I’m truly sorry." Gary said, tears threatening to spill over.

Coco stood up, and much to Trevor and Gary's surprise. Patted Gary on the back. She awkwardly made her way back to her seat.

"It alright, while i'm still pissed at you two for bringing this mess into my club to begin with, i'm more pissed off at the PanSazu for their lack of etiquette. Luckily i have a powerful friend who deals with scumbags like these." She finished with a coy smile.

Before Gary could even ask who is her powerful friend, the door opened to reveal Ron and a very uncomfortable Shelly.

Coco smiled at the woman, she was a good worker and was friendly with everyone here.

"Oooh look who in trouble!" Trevor singed in sing-song. Coco threw her ashtray at Trevor's head.

"Jokes on you , free cigarette butts!" Trevor said, placing one into his mouth and pulling out a lighter.

Shelly sat down in a chair next to Gary, he gave her a apologetic smile as she look at him, unsure. She heard there was some brawl that went down in the men’s bathroom. Shelly dismissed this as drunk idiots until she saw the door laying by the side of the wall and overheard the code "AB-91" spoken by the one of the janitors. AB-91 was code referring to the spillage of blood in an area.

"So Shelly, I just had a intriguing conversation with our two friends here, and-"

"Whatever they said, they're both dirty liars!" Shelly said in an outburst jumping from her seat, startling Gary and Trevor, and even Ron.

Coco laugh at the way Shelly was acting.

"Girl don't ruin your own life right now." Coco simply advised, smiling at the flustered waitress.

Shelly composed herself and sat down.

"Coco with all due respect, you know my situation. And i can't let my sister come to harm because of my actions." Shelly explained.

Coco nodded.

"Whatever it is, me and Trevor can help-" Gary was cut off by Trevor.

"Trevor can't do a god-damn thing, don't volunteer me for heroics Gary." Trevor said curtly.

"Well i will do everything in my power to help you. “Gary corrected. Shelly was surprised at how genuine he sounded. Coco looked at the man with the blazing feet, intrigued by yet another man with a hero-complex.

Shelly shakes her head, her blonde locks covering her eyes.

"You can't help me, i appreciate the offer but you don't want to be mixed up in this shitty situation i'm in."

"I think I'm already am considering that I been almost assassinated twice in the past five days."

This stopped Shelly in her tracks.

Was this man sent here by fate? A angel sent from above to save her and her sister from the mess she caused?

"Why? Why do you want to help me? It feels as if you have enough on your plate as is, sugarbean." She asked him gently, tears spilling over.

"Well, considering we both dealing with the same people, it be better if we help each-other out." Gary advised.

Shelly nodded, that did make sense. She saw in Gary what she saw in her sister Denise, a unbridled Altruism that can melt the polar ice caps and break down any walls. A ray of sunlight that can pierce through the darkness.

Coco leaned back and smile. Of course, she was pissed off, but she can put up a good poker face, she had to. The fact that those limp-dicked bastards had the nerve to do this in her establishment? And not only that, threatened to kill Shelly or Denise, two of the kindest women she ever met? Well now they're on her shit-list.

Trevor was in pain. No deep reasoning behind it, he was just in pain.

Coco stood up and snapped her fingers.

Ron nodded and went out the door.

"Ok Shelly, Trevor, and Gary. You three listen to me and you're all going to listen carefully. You three need to watch your backs. The PanSazu are ruthless and they will never stop coming for you three.

Coco watched them leave her office. She sent a message to her powerful friend, if anybody could save Shelly and her sister, it would be him.
